Everything was absolute perfect: staff, rooms, smell, location... a real hotel of 5 *. We traveled with our 2 kids (5 and 8 years old) and we received a beautiful room with balcony closed with windows. Our plane was cancelled and we had to turn back one more night and because our room has been taken, they upgrade the same room to a suite at the same rate as we booked the Executive Deluxe City View. Great choise for a absolutely great vacation.

Travelled with my 2 teenage nieces and opted for 2 bed 2 bathroom apt. Best choice!! Everyone had their own space, plus hotel amenities were available. Treated ourselves to breakfast buffet and drinks on the rooftop with a beautiful view of city. Staff at front desk and those greeting in front were most helpful, competent and efficient. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was near to the Passeig de Gracia metro station, only a few minutes walk. Upon arrival, we were offered to upgrade our room from Passig de Gracia view to executive room, which is much larger. The hotel was 200 years old but its inside was not aged. We enjoyed our stay and would like to return to this hotel in our next visit.

This hotel has everything! Spa, rooftop deck, amazing rooms...old school cool with everything a modern traveler would want or need. I love the old school ritz and glam! The hotel is anything but dated!

1. Staffs are super nice. Especially Sofia who checked us in (and also checked us out) was very nice and welcoming - she is the reason I feel very content about the hotel. 2. Breakfast is very nice. It seems all the ingredients are well-selected with great taste. However I personally prefer buffet type rather than order & serve. Anyhow, it was great. 3. The swimming pool is suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper small with questionable position on the rooftop - located in the centre of the bar.. everyone and anyone can see you. It's also very shallow - good for kids, perhaps. I was very upset after discovering this because I had high expectation of the swimming pool. 4. Atelier Cologne is one of my favourite perfumery. This hotel has their amenities. Conc: I would recommend this hotel. However please ensure to get good room as ours was deluxe but the room was positioned in the corner of the building(I think) and the room structure was rather interesting - in other words, the room felt quite small. But friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great experience.

The only down side was the roof top bar was not open on our first night and then on the second night it was closed for a private function. So we didn’t get to sit out at night on the roof top bar.
