Great Stay !!”
Room & Amenities - Rooms are super spacious, very clean and all modern amenities available. AC was silent and very effective . Bathroom was large and clean. Plenty of hot water with great pressure throughout the day. Our room was not having fridge and kettle which we requested at reception and it was made available within 10mins. Wifi and cellular reception worked great. No complaints at all. Rating - 5/5 Food - Food is decently priced. Chef is super talented and food was yummilicious. Biryani is one of the best I ever had. However, like most of beach shacks, you will have to wait quite a bit before your order gets served, not a deal breaker though. There are no happy hours at evening like most of the other beach shacks which can be worked on to keep there in-house guests stay inside. One can have breakfast by paying additional 250/- bucks per person at restaurant. We found it worth. Location - Palolen Beach is the party hub. Beach is clean and safe to swim.
Beautiful location ! ”
Pros - Worth the money paid (March Travel, non sea facing, 3K INR a night) - Sufficient Breakfast - Decent sized rooms - Right on the Palolem Beach - Parking available - Good Service Cons - Some rooms tend to stink due to water leakages, check before you accept the rooms Finally - I would definitely stay here again !!
COOL PROPERTY ”
ITS COOL PLACE ON BEACH, CALM ON CORNER END , WELL MAINTAINED, DELICIOUS FOOD , NICE VIEW ,VALUE FOR MONEY. SITUATED ON CLEAN & GREEN PALOLIM BEACH. WE HAD THREE NIGHT STAY IN THIS CLEAN HOTEL. THE OWNER & STAFF DESERVES FULL POINTS FOR ITS MAINTENANCE. ONE MUST VISIT THIS PLACE. THE PALOLIM BEACHS ADDS TO TO THE BEAUTY OF THIS PLACE. WOULD LIKE TO VISIT AGAIN WHEN GOT A CHANCE.
Paradise in India ”
Loved the place. Have to push for things like extra towels & have to make sure you have the room you want. We had to change rooms & couldn't get a late check out which was a real bummer. Other than that - the front desk was there for us when we arrived at 1:00 am! And when we needed to go the a Doctor - they got us a Tut Tut and sent us to a good Doctor Joe. The food was great and the blended fruit drinks & fresh ginger hot tea was excellent. Very relaxing except for all the room changes. Wished we could have stayed longer. Very low key and low maintenance. Also, my kindle broke - and people had left books so I had things to read which was a life saver! My friend & I loved the little town and the vendors on the beach and felt very relaxed and comfortable. A lot of international guests.
great hotel on the beach, great food and great service”
I came with my little son and we had a great time. the food was amazing and the fish were fresh everyday. The room was clean very nicely and the location is also good although it's in the far end of palolem beach but because of that it's more quite.
Room was very stinky. Very bad smell coming from bathroom. Amenities were the cheapest ones. ”
the room was not worth the money we paid. Entrance didn’t exist. Even when you are standing in front of the gate. Looked like they were under construction for a while.. Breakfast was very poor in the quality and in the options. Though the staff was courteous.
Superb location and resort ”
Pros:Location, Rooms, garden, restaurant location and best of all food. Cons: Road to resort is bit narrow.
Awesome location, really nice rooms and great food. ”
Location of the property is awesome..right at one end of the beach hence less crowded. Rooms sre great size and have nice view. Food was good. Staff friendly. Definitely recommended.
Awesome stay.. best location in palolem.. extraordinary.. nice food.. overall excellent...
The property is right on top of the beach with large roooms and a huge bathroom. Food was good but missed the authentic Goan flavours and sea food. The beachfront first floor rooms provide a very good view - overall a very relaxing experience!
very basic on the beach”
stayed in a wooden cabin that had the bare minimum. however the property is actually on the beach. so if you looking for that. then its okay. however the breakfast that was included just had 1 omelet and tea and juice. not a good deal. the menu items are very very overpriced. if you want the beach. then its good.
Good, with certain scope for improvement.”
The restaurant staff always sits on the wall at the front edge of the resort, which mostly disrupts the privacy of the guests sitting around that place. Restaurant staff also talks loudly and sings which gets bit indifferent towards the guest, privacy and the environment. Restaurant is outsourced to a 3rd party. Housekeeping or resort maintaining staff looks outsourced too and any housekeeping or resort related task has timings of 10:30 to 4:30, outside which staff is not available except one reception guy, and restaurant staff can't do anything related to the resort as they are restaurant specific 3rd party. If certain resort related need arises outside the 10:30 to 4:30 hours, I am not sure how at will be handled or solved for a guest.
Pleasant stay but i would prefer to take room facing sea view as its Awesome..”
Pros: Good Locality, Awesome Beach View, Near the Market, Serene Beach, Food is Worthful, You can go with your family as well, staff is helpful, Same as the pictures shown... Cons: Resort is too good but very expensive because the price which is shown in the website is excluding GST..
Absolutely fantastic ”
Absolutely fantastic place. Lovely clean and well maintained cabins on the beach, lovely people, the best beach, fantastic food - especially their Indian specialities, great cocktails and great service. Breakfast and coffee is great too. I Highly recommended to stay here. Would love to come back.
Piece of paradise on Palolem Beach”
We absolutely loved our stay at the Marron Sea View resort. The hotels rooms are lovely, all the basics you need and we loved the rustic aesthetic. The location is at the south end of the beach right near a yoga class every morning. The staff are so helpful and nice! We would definitely stay there again.
It was at the furthest corner of the beach so it was very peaceful. Huts were nice and cosy, the premium luxury ones were little better than others coz they were further ahead and had better view. Service was okay, food was nice. It was total value for money
Marron Sea View - a fantastic vacation”
Marron Sea View resort is the best place to stay in Palolem . The location is fantastic , right on the best part of the beach, accommodation is easily the best in the resort , the food is very good & the staff are really friendly ( particularly if you take time to talk to them ) & efficient. However it comes at a price - it is the most expensive place to stay but worth it unless you want to stay basic
Lovely location if you have the right room”
When we arrived we were not given the room we expected, in fact we got the worst location in the hotel, room 107 and 105 are at the back and barely have a sea view, you are looking over the roof of the other chalets, and when you look over the balcony to your right you see the rubbish dump, we were very disappointed, I think the lesson is don't book on line email direct and specify what you want, a prenium or delux room with full sea view. We were woken every night by dogs barking. To make up for this the staff are all very nice, helpful and the restaurant is very good. The bed was reasonably comfortable, A safe would be very useful to keep your valuables safe. I would like to come back but I would book direct.
Excellent location - Excellent resort”
Pros: Very big and spacious rooms compared to other beach huts. Looks and feels premium. Sea facing. Resort is on the beach towards the end, away from the crowd and gives you a feeling of private beach. Clean rooms , with tv ,ac, fridge. Clean bathroom. In-house restaurant serves very good food and yet not very overpriced. Staff makes you feel at home . Friday night live music. Cons : Little costly (yet no tea kettle in room and very basic toiletries just a small soap and a sattet of shampoo). There is some problem with lighting switching on/off( though its not too bothering ) Experience the luxury right on the beach.
Great Family Weekend”
We are a family of 4 2x adults and 2x children aged 7 & 9. We stayed in the beach front hut it has an extremely large double bed plus a single rollaway bed. It was a bit tight for 4 people but for only 2 nights it was fine. The room was up a step flight of steps so wouldn't recommend if you had very young children. there are ground floor rooms you could use.
