Very friendly staff, upgraded us to a wonderful suite. Fantastic location, near lots of eateries, massage parlours. Walking distance to ubud market.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is nice although the shower is a little bit disappointed. Anyway it was a minor problem. Surely, I will try another Plataran, Bromo for example.

I stayed for 4 nights at dis beautiful place.. The ground very clean, neat and beautiful.. The service is excellent.. Love the view and the feeling of ubud at the hotel.. Even in front is very crowded but when we step in into the hotel, everything is change.. so quiet and calm.. The location is superb! Love to stay at Plataran Ubud..

The location is in the centre of Ubud, very close to restaurants, gelato shops, Ubud art market or coffeeshops. The staffs were very helpful and attentive. The swimming pool just outside the room with paddy field view. Def worth the price and will come back again whenever I travel to Ubud area.

A very relaxing hotel with excellent hospitality!”
We loveee the view from our room, where we could see a rice field from our balcony. It's very relaxing! The hospitality of all staffs were also excellent. They strived to make sure we feel welcomed and fulfill all our needs. Breakfast was great, the taste and also the variety. Sometimes the staffs will also try to chat with us over breakfast. The only thing that didn't go very well was that I'd ordered large bed but unfortunately got a twin bed which was put together. And the bed was a little bit soft for guess with minor back problem like me. But I consider it a small matter.

Great - despite a lot of minor inconvenience”
there were a lot of inconvenience that occur throughout my stay, though minor but i need to mention as it usually doesn't happen in a 5 star hotel: 1. on the 5th day of my stay, they suddenly made a new regulation where we cannot get espresso based coffee for breakfast. it was made available for all guests the previous days which I find very weird that they'd suddenly do this. something that wouldn't happen in an international 5 star hotel 2. though i put a no disturb sign, they'd knock loudly on my door. i'd usually dont mind but my toddler was having a nap 3. this one is probably one of the BIGGEST inconvenience throughout my stay. I booked for a tour to Mt. Batur which costs around 450,000 per person (there were 3 of us). on the day of the trip, I found out that they booked an external tour guide. I was under the assumption, this was an in house thing. Next, when we were dropped off to the tour guide office, they charged us 550,000 per person which is more than what was written on the brochure. I was under the impression it would be private tour, but they dumped us with bunch of other tourists from different hotels. We are local, and we found out we were charged with international pricing which is very steep. With this kind of pricing, the tour itself was very underwhelming, the food offer was so bad, the driver didn't even drop us to the starting trek point. With this kind of price, I could've gotten a jeep tour. The worst part was, the local guide who was the only savior of the whole trip was paid VERY low. I've gotten informations from all the local guide there as well that the tour is not the best so i wonder why Plataran would designate us to such bad tour agent 4. i specifically asked for more water and cotton pad but they never did give me, they even forgot to refill cotton pads for a couple of days and i had to ask again there was a day where they didn't clean up my room and i was back at the room at 2 pm the pool and gym are pretty small despite t
