very old room furnishing. Room has a musty & cigarette smell despite building being non-smoking. service was satisfactory as staff responded to feedback (e.g. spoilt fridge or towels not replaced) but not in a timely manner. good location, but i would rather book a better hotel around the same location next time.

Location is fantastic! Just outside Myeondong Station Exit 2, just opposite Myeondong Night Market. Very near the bustle of the night market but not in the midst of it, which is perfect for us. Its also the location of many tours pick-up which is really convenient. Stayed a total of 6 nights. 3 nights in Deluxe R for 4 persons (requested for extra bed) & 3 nights in Triple Room. Deluxe R is spacious even for 4 persons. Ample space for luggages and walking space. Cupboard is small & not much drawersbut we don't use such so that doesnt bother us. Bathroom is big. Great that there is a good space dresser. Triple Room is sufficient for 3 persons with good space for luggages & walking space. Bathroom is much smaller though. Cleanliness is good, housekeeping is great. Bottled water is replenished daily. For once, i am not afraid to touch the curtains... it feels clean =) As other travellers have mentioned, no toothbrush & toothpaste provided, bring your own. Highly reccommend!

Very nice location”

Location was excellent, very close to the Myeongdong subway station and shopping street. Also, very close to bus stop going to Namsan Tower. This is also the pickup and drop-off point of many group tours. There are a lot of convenience stores, coffee shops, and other restaurants, even Mcdonald's. This is my 3rd time in Seoul and we always stay in Myeongdong due to accessibility to major tourist spots. We weren't able to explore the facilities of the hotel as we were always out.

Pros- airport limousine bus stops here. Walking distance to train station and shopping. Namsan tower and namsangol village within minutes walk. Klook pick up point for nami island is just outside the hotel. Cons- under the bed is dusty. No toothbrush provided. I chose a two single bed room but when we arrived staff said no room available. Gave us a single queen bedroom with no view. They could have made up giving us a room with a view.

It worth it”

I stay here for 6 days 5 night ... it a nice hotel as well the room ... it very easy to get food across the street where is myeongdong ..... nearby hotel Aso Got shop that open 24hour ... you will never feel hungry ... there is Hala shop that you can get the food easily ... it worth the stay ... the staff is friendly as the Housekeeping keep the room clean Everyday without fail .... I will come back to this hotel again.

Cleaniness of Hotel ”

The room we book are non smoking room, howadays there are smell of smoking in our room. We ask cleaner to clean our room, thought the smoke can gone, however there are still smoke smell in the room. the location is great. Staff are friendly and speak well in English.

Travelled with 2 senior citizens. So happy they upgraded us. Parents were given bigger room. It made their stay very comfortable. Although we had to cross the street going to Myeongdong, the location was still a big plus to us nonetheless.

Great location/nice food nearby”

This hotel is near the Myeongdong train station exit 2 but if you want to go easy on your knees, take the escalator which is exit 3. As you journey towards the station underground, there are many underground shops so one is tempted to shop till you drop. Some food stalls below too. Opposite the hotel is where all the cosmetics shops are so again 'shop till you drop.' I particular love the herbal chicken stall opposite the hotel or across the road to your left. Or if you exit the hotel front door, turn left, see hotel New Oriental, directly opposite this hotel(or cross the main road), you see Ediya coffee(left of which is Starbucks). Above Ediya coffee is this fantastic herbal chicken place - order the red ginseng chicken (simply out of this world) and reasonable price. Have tried 3 different recommended herbal chicken stalls and one with Michelin star. Cannot beat this one. Ate there 3 times to be convinced. Also nearby you can find good BBQ beef stall. Ask the hotel counter staff .

Very Good Location in Myeongdong”

Hotel is clean and staff are nice. They even let us check in early at 12noon and gave us until 1pm to check out. Very close to subway stations. Like exit 2 and 4. Across is exit 8. There is also an underground shopping on these exit stations. Very convenient especially all our tour meet ups are all at exit 2. Mcdonalds is very close. There are also good restaurants around the area. Right side of the hotel is a daiso 8 story building. Across the street is the myeongdong nightmarket already. There is a near starbucks as well. Hotel has no airport transfers but airport bus station is just across and it costs KRW15,000 per way. Close hotels are Loisir Hotel, Skypark Myengdong 3, Sejong Hotel and Savoy hotel.

Great location! ”

Location is great, it is in center of Myeongdong. Very accessible to shopping, restaurants and train stations. Airport transfers is very easy - either via train or airport shuttle. Suggest though to change their breakfast menu on a daily basis, for variety. We stayed here for 7 days, and food are same everyday. Also, front desk staff not that friendly. But overall, will still return to this hotel.

Location is the best”

I have stayed at this property 4 times and never disappointed with the staff or room. Definitely recommend if you want to shop in Myeongdong which is right across the street. The airport bus is also right across the street.

1. Location. Conveniently located. The airport bus stops across the street. Myeongdong's shopping district and subway are a few steps away. A number of tour meet-ups happen near the hotel. Their are food outlets, pharmacy, money changer and a Catholic church nearby. 2. Cleanliness. Housekeeping keeps the rooms clean. 3. Hassle-free. Accommodating staff who speak English.

No facilities but good location”

Location very convenient, straight away subway infront of the hotel. Room: small, very basic, with basic toiletries. Nothing special. Stay here only because of the location. Other than that nothing impressive.

Best location - right in front of underground and opposite of the popular Myeongdong shopping area. Service was good in terms of English level and responsiveness. I arrived at 9am due to morning flight and they allowed me to check in at 10am. Housekeeping is great too able to clean up every day, have everything clean up and refill. Was reading those comments saying they don’t provide shower and shampoo stufff but they do have it now. Just remember to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste but it’s still easy to get it cheap just downstairs the pharmacy too. Values for money in view of the price!

Good Location”

Hotel was near shopping area and food. Also near namsan tower cable car. There was a flight of stairs at the entrance of the hotel; FYI if you have heavy luggage. If you have heavy luggages, it would also not be wise to use the train for this hotel. Since the myeongdong station does not have lifts and there would be flights of stairs within the station that you need to carry your luggage up or down. If you have to take the train, i would recommend using Exit 1 for the least number of flight of stairs you would encounter. The hotel room amentities does not provide toothbrush, toothpaste and teaspoons (even though there were instant coffee, tea sachets) But strangely they do provide sewing kits. Other disposable amentities they provided were shower caps and "mini disposable hygiene bags". There were bedroom slippers but no Shower robes. The air conditioning was abit weird. It would automatically switch off when it reaches a particular temperature. I found this frustrating at times.

excellent location and value for money”

prince hotel is located at a very prime area, right in front of myeongdong subway station with many shuttle buses (to everland, airports etc) available just at the doorstep of the hotel. the hotel is very basic, with very little choice of food but the room is very functional with clever use of space and i am very happy with the hotel with the price paid.

The location of this hotel is just beside myeongdong subway exit 2. Convenient to travel via the subway and a bus stop within 1 minute walk. Opposite the hotel is the start of myeongdong street. The rooms are nicely clean. No toothbrush, only body shower, body lotion, shampoo & comb. There is breakfast at level 1, i rather eat out as there's lots of yummy restaurants. There is a trainee staff with a senior staff at the counter, communication wise, english, chinese and Japanese is of no issue. They lack of knowledge on the area and some have a arrogant attitude. I requested to book a taxi at 3am to Gimpo domestic airport to fly to Jeju on the 3rd day, the staff booked on the 2nd day and i got an early 3am morning call instead! On the 3rd day, the taxi dropped us at Gimpo International airport, its not open yet and we have to wait in the cold till its open, ask around and walk for 30mins before reaching domestic airport. Terrible experience. You can keep your luggage with them as well.
