Big Room, Great Location, Comfy Bed”
Smack in the middle of CBD, extremely convenient. Stayed through the weekends so there was free on the road parking, but being in the middle of the CBD finding one close by was a bit tricky. Staff were extremely nice and helpful, and room was wonderful. A bit pricey for the casual traveller, but well worth the money. Good internet.
Could not have asked for a better location and the hotel is good value for money
The hotel was more like a self-contained service apartment, but it was perfect for our needs of being in the Adelaide CBD. It's only a very short walk to Rundle Mall that has 2 large supermarkets where you can buy groceries to cook for yourself as well as umpteen restaurants in the area if you would prefer not to cook. It's also ideal for getting around the CBD either by walking or tram. I would stay here again, and would definitely recommend it.
Great location Great hotel”
Stayed for 2 nights on a business trip and found t.he location, staff and room were to an excellent standard. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area and the Rundle Mall is less that 100 metres away. The Room I stayed in has small kitchenette and separate bedroom. Good price through Agoda. Will stay again. Andrew M
Long weekend stay”
I stayed recently at the Quest on King William as it was close to a conference I was attending at Flinders University Victoria Square campus. Overall, I was very happy with the location of the hotel, the size of the room (Studio Room) and the in-room facilities and comfort (the windows need a good clean though!). What was disappointing was the suspension of cleaning services for two days over the long weekend. I stayed from Thur 29 Sept until Tue 4 Oct. On Sat I received a note in the room to say that there would be no room cleaning service on Sunday and Monday. We could however collect fresh towels etc from the reception (opening hours 7am - 11pm). As a result of no cleaning service, the rubbish also piled up in the room (the room has a small kitchen with cooking appliances). As I spent long hours out at the conference I had to make sure that I thought ahead as to what supplies, teabags, toilet paper etc that would need replenishing and remember to get it while reception was open. If Quest are implementing such cost saving measures they need to make sure the price on those nights is significantly cheaper. Overall though I would still recommend this property if you can get a good price on it.
Very content with my choice”
Wanted somewhere to stay close to both Her Majesty's theatre and the Festival theatre. Also close to the mall so location excellent and the staff friendly. There is quite a few different layouts for the rooms so that and floor level can effect your stay.
1st birthday & baptism ”
I was impressed with how quite it was even though so close to traffic of the city... room service from restaurants near by was quick and easy. .. a very enjoyable stay. .. will stay there again in futere ....
First time to Adelaide”
This place was perfect for us as we didn't have a car. The hotel was close to so many things, including public transport. We will definitely be staying here next time and have already recommended it to friends.
Great room, great price”
The hotel is in a great location with very large rooms. Bed comfortable, spa nice, totally worth the extra few dollars on a low starting price to get the best room. Stay friendly, no room service but shops all around and the kitchen is functional. Definitely stay there again.
Value for money”
Very satisfied stay with Quest on King William Hotel for three nights. The two bedrooms apartment was big enough for four of us. It was clean and daily cleaning service provided. I love the hotel most for its location. Tram transport was just few steps away the hotel. As for those who love shopping, Rundle Mall was just few minutes walk from the hotel. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Would be back to this hotel if visit Adelaide again.
The serviced apartment with kitchenette gave us flexibility to eat in/dine out. It was very comfortable. Easy to get around. Information about public transport and tours just opposite Quest. No bar/restaurant but they will do your shopping for you!
Great location, spacious and excellent value ”
I stayed at this apartment with a girl friend for 4 nights. We wanted to be central to everything as it was our first time to Adelaide. We found it was cheaper to book with Agoda and paid $118 per night. From the airport we caught the J1 bus to Currie Street for $2.50. Then had less than a 5 minute walk to Quest. The markets were 10-15 mins walk from the apartment and it was close to Rundall Mall. The bus to Glenelg beach is also right outside Quest so this made it is to travel and sight see. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and quite quiet (I stayed in a one bedroom 808). The rooms are serviced daily and are equipped with a microwave, fridge and portable stove. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a cheap but comfortable stay.
Awesome places that meet my expectation!”
It is a great place to stay if you want to be close to city. Great access to public transport and it is located in the heart of the city. I booked a studio apartment and the moment I step in, it just make me so comfy like I am back to home. The staffs is very attentive and helpful as well. The only think I would like to mention is that the parking lot is kinda a bit of walking distance. I have to park at level 3 but the parking lot off the lights after mid night and the whole building is kinda scary dark. This will be dangerous. Another thing, it will be great if I could have early check in rather than have to wait for like 45 min. Yet, the staff is still very nice to change me to another room just to cut short my waiting time. Great job. I will definitely choose the same place the next round I am in town!
Small rooms but centrally located”
ideal place to base yourself in seeing the city sights and restaurants, rooms are a bit small but location makes up for that and tariffs are more than reasonable. Only downside if anything is the parking , you have to park nearby at your own expense at the city car parks.
lovely hotel and service with a smile”
Only downfall was parking which was located a few blocks away and lift didn't work throughout our stay which was a pain as husband using wheelchair and also had a few issues with prepaid ticket over weekend but this was sorted very quickly
Good location and nice staff”
the room design is good with balcony, only bad thing is that the bars/clubs around the hotel are a little noisy at night. totally understood that bars/clubs are the "must" items nearby a great beach. anyway, i was tired after whole day trip, so the noise doesnt matter to me good to try
Quiet and in a good location”
Excellent for business travellers. It's nice to be able to watch TV from a lounge and not from your bed. Good customer service. All good. Pity there weren't many good restaurants in the local area though
Quiet and a cut above.”
We 4 old girlfriends have a 5 day break in Adelaide every 2-3 years. This Hotel was clean, spacious, stylish and as close as possible to the public transport and shopping venues that we frequented. We had a lovely time there together.
Quality accommodation in the centre of everything”
reception staff were friendly and helpful. the apartment had all the features advertised, and everything was clean and functional. the bathroom was exceptionally spacious. the one downside is parking. there is no designated place for parking a vehicle while checking in, and you just have to manage as best you can in a side alley and hope you'll not be in anyone's way. a card supplied by the hotel gives you 24-hour access to a multi-storey park a few hundred metres from the hotel. one day's parking costs.
