Fantastic Location & Friendly Staff”
I only had 24 hours in Bali on an extended layover. I chose Sun Island Legian because of the central location and good price. I was not disappointed. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Check-in was a breeze. The room was clean and well appointed. The location meant that I could walk everywhere during my short stay. I used the pool in the morning and I was the only person there the whole time. I never had any issues with noise. I heard dogs barking a couple of times, but I've heard worse back home! The icing on the cake was the use of a room later that afternoon once I had already checked out. My flight wasn't until 9pm. The staff gladly held my bags while I went out exploring for the day, then when I came back in the afternoon I was able to access a free room so I could take a shower and freshen up before my flight. This was VERY much appreciated. Next time I come to Bali, I would stay here again.

We stayed at Sun Island in February for my birthday. The morning of my birthday at breakfast the staff brought a cake to my table and sang happy birthday. Nice touch. The hotel is close to restaurants, shops and night clubs. We found the staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily and had everything you needed. Water dispensers were on each level so you could fill your bottles up with fresh water. Food at the restaurant and room service was tasty. Would stay here again.

This place was absolutely lovely! I really appreciated that this place was trying to go green by giving items in cloth bags and giving us a jug so we could refill it with filtered water from the many stands across the hotel. It was a beautiful design and the pools were gorgeous. I loved the sundeck which was a shallow pool, great to cool off after having a sunbake without any building to take away the sun. The infinity pool was beautiful and really pooped together the look. The staff went out of their way for us and never had any problems. The breakfast was standard but still really good quality and I loved how they have 24hr room service for those midnight snacks. It’s right across from a minimart, right on the clubbing strip and has some fantastic bars right around the corner from Poppy’s lane (1 and 2). Will stay there again, definitely.

Very comfortable, great location”
Great location, close to lots of places to eat, shop and get pampered. Walking distance to the beach. Having the in house restaurant was great, had delicious food, both local and western dishes. Staff were warm and welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortable although soundproofing could be better, could hear a lot of hallway/stairway noise. Very secure with passkeys needed to get into rooms as well as through gates off public access stairways and hallways.

Sun island is the best hotel in Bali! I have been a few times and stayed in several places but nothing has beaten what sun island offers, which is amazing rooms that are affordable/clean/spacious the service is impeccable, I've never had such kind service with such willingness to help! The location is great, so close to everything, the food is so nice too! I've never had an issue and I'll go back to sun island everytime! I just love this place

Fantastic budget hotel in the centre of Legian”
Just returned from a 14 night stay with my husband and 2 teenage daughters. Were pleasantly surprised by this hotel given some of the negative reviews I read before coming here. We stayed in 2 superior rooms which where interconnecting. Although the rooms were small they were nicely decorated and had an extremely comfortable king size bed. It would have been nice to have had some drawers and wardrobe space as found it difficult to unpack however was not a big problem. The level of cleanliness was very high with the rooms refreshed on a daily basis and the pool and restaurant area kept in good order. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and had selection of Asian and western dishes, an egg station, cereals, pancakes and pastries. We paid around £40 per room per night including breakfast and for the price we paid I found it to be excellent value for money. The location is good and central if you want to explore Kuta, Legian and Seminyak and there are a good selection of bars and restaura

I've stayed at sun island 3 times now. It's great value compared to other hotels in the area and I can't fault the service or facilities. My favourite parts are the beautiful rooftop pool with swim up bar, and the killer buffet breakfast. The staff are also very friendly and will go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience.

This was my second time at Sun Island and it was even better than the first.... staff are ALWAYS friendly and extremely helpful.... the breakfast spread is brilliant.... the rooms are kept well stocked and cleaned and I recommend Sun Island to anyone i know going to Legian.

Lovely hotel close to the Action ”
Enjoyed our stay here , only issue was the noise close to our room 121 this was on the ground floor and could hear the door slamming , we did tell reception the following morning just so they were aware. All in all it was a good stay and staff were very good , main highlight was the swimming pool and breakfast was nice also 👍

Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, fresh filtered water available on every floor, great location and beautiful clean pools. Was in touch with the hotel before arriving to ask for a room in a suitable area of the hotel for a 2 year old. The staff answered my emails promptly and located us in an excellent room. Security was great. Ctv cameras on every floor and big metal locked gates accessible to get to other floors by swiping your room key. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Comfortable rooms with modern bathroom. Great location for exploring Kuta and Legian. Staff are all friendly and polite. Possibly needs more shade in pool area but great value for money. Great breakfast but would have liked to have bacon everyday.
