Breakfast”
Hello, we stayed in your hotel Sunhotel Aston from 1 to 4 November 2018 in Basic Economic Double Room booked until November 5, with prepaid breakfasts. Unfortunately, our flight was changed and we kindly asked your hotel to put last breakfast in the bags and give us on November 4. It was accepted and after refusing. We are very unhappy with this situation, when your hotel all time-change decision and we could not take the last breakfast. We take our decision not to do choose your hotel again. Goodbye, now.

hotel needs renovation”
we (some 10-15 people) used the hotel because it was close to where we needed to be. They messed up the rooms assignment, and some of us could not sleep because of noise. The rooms look like they need renovation. Showering in their bathtubs without a mat is dangerous for older people.

Overrated 3 star hotel”
It is a clean property at a good location, staff is very co-operative. But in room facilities are extremely poor. A.C. on heater mode, despite of hot weather dould not be turned in cold mode. Therefor windows were to kept opened. Old fashioned 18" small T.V. in the room, no refrigerator, no tea coffee maker, poorly light were few of the irritating factors. No way it can be rated as 3 Star.

Pretty Standard”
The Hotel, is 3 Star, charging €100 a night. There are no facilities in the room, no kettle, glasses, water etc. The rooms are small, with thin walls, so you can hear everything in the other room. The cupboard was falling apart, the bed was on wheels, with a thin mattress. The staff where very friendly, but I had to go down late at night to ask for some water and a glass. I would have assumed that that would be in the room at the very least. Also, the pool is a joke, waist high 5 metres long, with the lining coming away at the bottom so you feel like you are walking on bouncy castle and the water was green, a large paddling pool. It's a 2 star hotel at best

Nice hotel, poor room quality”
We arrived for 1 night only with a car. The room was very basic with many problems. It had a strange smell and bathroom door was stuck and couldn't close. Other smaller problems is that the air-conditioning temperature switch was broken, the bed was with wheels so it wasn't very stable. parking costs 21 euro per day, even if we only needed it for the night (more then 1/3 of the room price).

Nice hotel but small rooms”
The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only real downside was that the room and the bathroom were a bit on the small side and the walls were quite thin but overall a nice and clean hotel in a good location that is not too far from las ramblas.

Economy hotel, but satisfactory”
The city I was in on the first leg of my trip in a different city had a very small room, so this looked good in comparison. There was enough room for a desk and wardrobe and then a queen-sized bed, as we had requested. We faced the front and never had a problem with the noise (though granted we are from a big city). There was no refrigerator, which was disappointing, though there is a free in-room safe. The room was always clean. Although we were not in the center of town, as we were on the first leg, this actually allowed us for some cheaper meals near the hotel. It was about a ten-minute walk to the Metro, and there is an internet cafe right near there (I didn't want to bring my laptop) which is incredibly cheap (.50 Euros for the first half-hour). We were able to walk from the bars in L'Example, but when we went to Las Ramblas we took a cab back for around 9 Euros (the Metro closes at midnight). We didn't have any food in the hotel so can't speak to that. El Fornet around the corner has some small sandwiches and outdoor seating that we preferred to use. The rooftop pool does close at 8pm which is unfortunate. It's a small, shallow pool but helps to beat the heat, with several chairs for sunbathing as well or reading a book. Most of the other hotels we looked at didn't have a pool so this was a nice bonus, even though we had to make sure to get back in time to use it. It's good to go out for tourist activities, take a swim, then go out for dinner. It is an economy hotel, not luxury, but if that's what you're expecting, then it is satisfactory.

Gorgeous View of Barcelona”
I really enjoyed a nice jacuzzi while overlooking the city. The beds could have been more comfortable and better quality, but the room had everything I needed. Some staff was not too attentive but others were extremely helpful. Overall I had a very positive experience and would stay there again.

Safe area of the city , some noise from ambulances in hospital. Staff not very friendly we got yelled at for not checking out in time when they mixed up our booking! Also could not find a self serve laundry for us and laundry service offered by hotel very pricey. Apart from that good clean rooms, fast wifi and safer than staying in the city centre at night.

Simple, close to metro, clean, quiet”
Close to metro which is a good thing because Im a woman traveling by myself. Quiet but I did bring ear plugs just in case since the hotel is located near a hospital. Clean. The front desk personnel are very helpful. In a quiet area away from all of the noisy party people.

Ok hotel for storbyferie ”
Brugte hotellet som base for storbyferie. VI spiste morgenmad på hotellet nogle dage, andre dage købte vi ind i nærliggende supermarked. Ca. 3 km. til Santa Marie del Mar, Sagrada Familia og Parc Güel. Værelset lå på 1. sal, men med meget højtsiddende vinduer, så man fik kun et "himmelkik" når man så ud (baggård). Lydisoleringen fra gang til værelse er stort set ikke eksisterende, men der var trods alt ro om natten. Oplysningen på værelset sparsom - to lamper på sengebordene og en bordlampe derudover.

Ok hotel til prisen”
Interiør er generelt lidt slidt men alt fungerer og der er pænt og rent alle steder. De fleste af de personaler jeg havde kontakt med var hjælpsomme og smilende, men ikke alle i receptionen havde overskud til et smil. På grund af årstiden fik jeg ikke lejlighed til at prøve poolen på taget - men havde heller ikke tid på de 4 overnatninger jeg havde på hotellet.

Einfaches Hotel ohne Ansprüche ”
Das 2-3Sterne Haus ist ganz einfach. Sehr hellhörig im Hotel, sowie von der Straße her. Ich wusste aber alles, da ich bei einigen Veranstaltern die Bewertungen gelesen hatte. Negativ : kein SAT TV mit deutschen oder englischen Sendern. Keine Minibar, der Lärm Positiv : hilfsbereites Personal, nette Bar, Pool auf dem Dach. Mein Wunsch nach einem Wasserkocher hatte super geklappt.

Wir waren 4 Tage in diesem Hotel als Paar unter gebracht. Positiv: - die Lage ist super zur Einkaufsmeile, nächsten HopOnHopOff Busstation, Metro usw. - Frühstück war ausreichend und bis zum Ende aufgefüllt. Das Rührei ging allerdings gar nicht (was war das bitte?!) Gute Auswahl an Brötchen, Joghurt, Kaffee, Obst, Aufstrichen und Backwaren / Kuchen. passt also! - gratis WLAN - günstiger Aufenthalt (wobei für 10€ mehr am Tag andere Hotel sicher besser sind) Negativ: - Schreibtisch im Zimmer kaputt, Badhaken kaputt, Föhn kaputt, Badewanne sah aus wie als hätte einer seine Notdurft hinterlassen, weil Emaille schon zerstört. Ekelhaft! Badarmaturen an der Wanne defekt, Klimaanlage Regler defekt / nicht mehr vorhanden - Bett: Matratze auf ein Brett geschmissen, EINE Mega dünne Decke zu zweit - Fernseher ein deutsches Programm und ca 20Zoll TV (stand 1995?!) - Wollte Geburtstagskuchen bestellen für meine Partnerin zum Frühstück am nächsten Tag („solche Art von Kuchen haben wir nicht“ - heißt so viel wie: Service haben wir nicht zu bieten) - Rezeptionist wollte mich über den Tisch ziehen, weil ich 3 Tage Tiefgarage gebucht habe und der Mietwagen nach 2h ersatzlos zurückgehen musste. Rückerstattung wollte er nur für zwei Tage machen. Nach langer Diskussion dann alle drei Tage bekommen. (Preis TG: 21€ pro NACHT) im benachbarten Design Hotel U232 nur 15€/ Nacht - da war ein Kollege. Also ich würde hier nicht nochmal buchen!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt ”
Super Lage, angenehmes und vergleichbar günstiges Hotel. Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Das Highlight war die dachterasse , mit dem Pool und Dem Whirpool. Gerne Wieder :)
