Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Great value. ”
Fairly easy to walk to other neighborshoods if you are willing but not the best area for nightlife or markets. It was a little bit of a trek for my parents and cabs are not always the best way to go. We found uber to be reliable and affordable.

Staff very friendly, liked the location away from craziness of old town, amongst the embassys', room size not great and it had a view of a brick wall, this should be outlined in the details before booking.

It was my second time here. Everything was the same as before 6 months ago. Kind services, delicious breakfast, and peaceful stay. Except the swimming pool water was bit cold to swim. Though jacuzzi was great. Very much recommend!

Location : away from the noise of the old town but still within walking distance. The majority of staff were helpfull although one lady at reception was extremely rude- we had a problem with the airport transfer which I believe because if the multitude of phone calls from Agoda before the trip which only caused confusion was neither my fault or the hotel's fault but she decided to be very rude about it.

Very Nice”
Only stayed one night, but the facilities were great (pool, jaccuzi, steam bath, sauna, locker room with shower. Our room was clean and well appointed. Food at the hotel restaurant was very good and the wait staff was very accommodating. Overall, it was s great stay. I only wishe we had had more time there.

New Hotel. Stayed in executive suite which had a great size and layout. Stayed at 3 hotels in Hanoi. Without a doubt best hotel so far in Hanoi. Only 5 minutes from the old quarter and much quieter for sleeping.

Great hotel just a short walk from the centre”
We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were lovely and spoke very good english. They even let us come back the day after we checked out to clean up after our overnight cruise before we set off on the overnight train to Hue.

Really nice hotel room - comfortable bed and bathroom. A bit weird being able to see into the bathroom from the bed. Spa and gym facilities great. Didn’t try the restaurant or bar as it is very overpriced, but plenty of other food and drink options nearby or a 15-20 min walk away in the old quarter. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Great hotel in a great place”
It is a great hotel in a quite area of the city, with a good design and marvellous zone of gym, pool and spa. Inconvenients: The price was high and the room was quite dark. The pressure of the water in the shower was low.

Best hotel in Hanoi”
My husband and I stayed in Lapis for 4 days and 3 nights. We super loved the hotel- from facilities, buffet breakfast to hotel staffs. Everything was amazing. The hotel was very well maintained. The buffet breakfast has a wide range of choices and it’s awesome. The staffs (guards, bellboys, food attendants, room attendants and receptionists) were hospitable and we were warmly welcomed. We will definitely be back and will greatly recommend Lapis hotel to our family and friends. We already miss our room and the buffet breakfast. :-)

House keeper didn’t clean room well, front desk staff were not helpful, restaurant staff were good”
I do not recommend to my family or friends. Location wasn’t good, perhaps people wait for 5-7 years to go to Hanoi. Been to Hochimin and I like there much better than Hanoi, people in Hanoi were not ready for foreigners yet, need more training for customer service and hospitality !

The staff is friendly and helpful. The overall hygiene of this hotel is good except the housekeeping still needs to pay a little more effort on vacuum cleaning the hairs on the washroom floor. Price is good so I will pick it again next time.

Top boutique hotel in Hanoi ”
This was my first stay in Hanoi, and my experience at The Lapis Hotel could not have been more accommodating. The hotel was brand new, very clean, modern and aesthetically pleasing. My room was very comfortable. The best part of my stay was the staff. They went out of their way to make my stay in Hanoi the absolute best it could have been. The level of customer service I received was unparalleled. No matter the question, or what my needs were, the friendly and professional staff at The Lapis went above and beyond, to make sure I was taken care of. Their level of customer service is the "gold standard" that other hotels should be measured by. I highly recommend The Lapis Hotel, and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel itself was very nice, the staff were friendly, but there was difficulty in getting international calls, and language difficulties. We didn't experience this in any other hotels in Vietnam, of similar standards and costs. The location was only ok.

To be honest we are very disappointed during our stay here. The window was very small and the curtain was broken. Almost no light can come in. The twin bed was actually two single bed putting together, therefore, the light button on the wall is blocked by the bed. Furthermore, when we ask for extra blanket, the reception said there is no more blanket in the entire hotel.

We stayed here for 5 nights in total. We were originally meant to stay only 4, however our Halong Bay Cruise was cancelled due to a storm, the staff were very accommodating and quickly found us a room at last minute. We didn't get breakfast so I can't comment on that. The staff were absolutely amazing. I remember Hai in particular, one of the male lobby staff, was very friendly and gave us some really lovely restaurant recommendations whilst waiting for our Uber one afternoon. The hotel itself was very luxurious, always very clean and smelt amazing (they have diffusers throughout the hotel). I make comment on the smell as we were staying at another hotel in Hanoi the week before and it absolutely stank. The pool is perfect with an absolutely amazing view. The deck area isn't very large, however this seems to be pretty standard across Hanoi. It was one of the best places that we stayed in Vietnam in terms of facilities and staff. If we are ever back in Hanoi, we will definitely stay here again.

We have a wonderful experience stay at the Lapis Hotel! Room are cosy. The facilities are fantastic and the staff are passionate and friendly. They have got a mini infinity pool, Jacuzzi, steam bathe and sauna located at the upper top level which we really enjoy it! Will definitely be the 1st choice when we back in Hanoi.

Really enjoyed Lapis Hotel, would gladly stay there again. Convenient location in a good part of town. Room and public areas were immaculate, everything worked well. Breakfast could have had a little more variety, but overall was very pleased.

The best service and good location!”
I really enjoyed to stay in the lapis hotel. the service of this hotel impressed me. It was all rainy except the last day of my trip. Because of that I couldn't go to Ha long bay but on the final day. The flight was late at night so it wasn't a problem going there. However, once I went out for trip then of course I needed to take a shower.(don't want to be stinky passenger) Even i checked out early in the morning , they let me use the facilities like shower room and yakusi in the hotel. Ha long bay was the place I really wanted to visit and they made it possible! The location, swimmng pool and room are absolutely great! For surely no need to mention about the service. 👍🏻 I would choose this hotel if I have chance to visit Hanoi again. You won't regret to stay here :)

Good hotel, great service, rooms are small”
The hotel is super nice and new, the pool on the roof is a gem and the service is great ! But the rooms are too small for a family with 2 little kids. I must mention a receptionist called Plum, she was absolutely AMAZING. She took us for a dinner place after his shift has ended and even stayed with us to help us order. Throughtout the stay she was super nice and friendly and helped us a lot in finding places to visit and just day to day necessities. She made our stay that much more enjoyable!

Good hotel, nice room, nice location (near the Women's Museum and the Bun Cha place which President Obama visited). Friendly staff. The bell captain, Hiep, was always ready to help with a smile, and breakfast staff remembered my preferences. The breakfast itself, however, was surprisingly poor -- the food was difficult to chew and was very bland, and the selection was limited. Gym was decent and the hot tub/steam room were pretty great (nice decor, perfect temperature). The infinity pool was pretty, but chilly (though infinity pools, in general, are pretty cold).

3night weekend stay”
We were on a weekend trip from Singapore and decided to stay at the lapis hotel. Location was a little out of the way but still very manageable. Staff were very friendly and spoke pretty decent English. Limited choice of food & drinks on menu, didn't order anything. There were a few things about the staff which were not the best, the key was deactivated after supposed check out time & they came into our room one morning without knocking which we were not too happy about. They also said they would give us an upgrade(not to complain) but they didn't! haha! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel, its new and very nice!

We (three adults) stayed in the Executive Suite City View with an extra bed in the sitting room. We enjoyed the stylishly furnished and clean rooms which were equipped with smart televisions and internet access. The bathroom toilet was unfortunately blocked after a flush on our first night, but this was rectified promptly in the morning. The infinity pool on the roof although small was an added bonus and the gym adequately equipped. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet especially the tasty and aromatic phở bò. The hotel was situated within walking distance or a short taxi ride to a range of good restaurants. Overall, we had a good time at the Lapis Hotel and would stay here again.
