The hotel rooms are clean and if you want cleaning every day of your stay, you should just let them know. Every day they put water and coffee and tea for you to enjoy. There is an electric kettle in the room. The location is very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is so good. Cons: It is just other customers that may make noise while they are going to their rooms which is not happening very often nor for a long time. The other thing is that probably because of the nice wood work in the rooms, there are very small creatures like ants in the room, but they didn't bother us. I just suggest that the hotel staff put some medicine in the rooms to get rid of them.

Hidden Gem”
The old adage you get what you pay for does not apply to the The Sun. I’ve stayed many times, the rooms are clean and a delight to enter. This was my 19th trip to bali and i’ve stayed in rooms $30 to $300, The Sun Hotel & Spa is my all time favourite. Staff are friendly but most importantly they are genuine and sincere which elsewhere is often not the case. Location is excellent. They always let me check in early where some hotels will leave you waiting even after 3pm, encouraging you to “wait at the bar” which i find rude and annoying. The Sun never use any of these tactics and are happy to accommodate any request. I will always go back as they restore my love of Bali after trying other places.

Stayed here for seven nights a large family group with 2 children ages 10 and 5. Staff are friendly, breakfast was great and rooms ,we had 2 rooms interconnecting for small family of 4 was perfect , my parents had queen balcony ( if smoker I suggest room with balcony it’s a bit of a pain to always have to go sit by pool and smoke ) And my brother and uncle had twin standard room, was a small issue with water leaks a few times but staff cleaned and fixed as soon as told 👌 We did eat once at restaurant it was all you can eat bbq night, was not to my liking but each to there own. The pool was fabulous great temperature and has a small toddler/kid pool attached. All in all was a great place !!

We had booked one night at the Sun and loved it. Great service, polite and helpful staff (shout out to Demi and Oddie) and clean comfortable accommodation. After check out and whilst waiting at the airport our flight was cancelled. A quick call and we were back at the Sun and provided with a room and a warm welcome. Service was excellent. We’ll be back to stay in October. We loved our time in the Sun! Mick & Amanda

Worth every penny you'd shed! Very cozy rooms with accommodating staff and big pool that's visible from the window. Towels and water bottles get replenished and rooms get cleaned everyday. The shower is quite small but manageable for the price. They also offer buffet dinner every Tuesday at IDR 110K. Convenient stores, pharmacy, mini souvenir/clothing stores, restaurants and spa are all walking distance from the hotel. Will definitely recommend to my friends!

Nengah was such a legend and helped us out a lot with anything we needed and getting around Bali! My boyfriend and I are young and we felt safe and comfortable at our hotel. The staff were very kind and the live music was awesome downstairs! I love Bali!

Awesome staff, walking distance to shopping beach, nightlife and restaurants. Great value daily dinner specials 24 hr room service, clean and comfortable rooms. Stayed 18 night in deluxe balcony and pool access room. Will be staying again soon 😉

I would highly recommend, the rooms are spacious with clean linen and toiletries everyday the staff are friendly and there’s 24 hour reception with cameras in every hallway which makes it very secure, there is also money exchange at the reception with great rates, we will definitely be back again

Staff are very freindly. They were always playing with my baby, trying their best to help me and make my trip enjoyble. The location is great, close to the beach and the restaurants. Breakfast was in all you can eat buffet. the pool was nice. I would definitely recommend.

+ value for money. underground carpark. as clean as 5star hotel very secure i think the claim of 4star is more like self claim,it is more like a 3 star hot water works perfectly a lot or power plugs and light switches on right spots great hairdryer!! good location near kuta no mozzies n insects - breakfast is just ok wifi not stable, phone signal not so good the pool is seems to be unfer maintenance all the time, but it works, people do swim there

This hotel is really great value for money. The location is close to everything in Legian and walking distance to the beach. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the facilities themselves are clean and well maintained. Only negative is the bathroom is a bit small but pictures are accurate, but this isn't a major issue. Also the pool is fully shaded which is great sun protection but does mean the pool is a bit cold. Aside from this, I couldn't fault it and would definitely recommend the stay here!

Peaceful and Quiet”
My biggest worry when I booked a hotel in this area of Bali was having to put up with the noise and loud music from pubs and bars around. But this hotel is in a very quiet place, and just a few minutes of walk away from the loud bars when you feel like visiting them. The beach is close too. The staff are super friendly which is the most important thing for me when I book relatively long stays. Every single one of my minor requests were catered to, and a few minor complaints that I had were resolved almost immediately. The pool at night with its lighting is divine. The property is surrounded by trees and the insides are free of pesky insects that might enjoy nibbling on your skin if you were at a private villa. I think I'll miss this place more than I'd miss Bali when I go back home.

I stayed in the hotel with a friend for only a night. Check in process was easy and staff were friendly and try to accommodate our needs. It is a standard 3 stars hotel, but I have to admit they have a really nice and long pool to swim although we did not swim. The shower area is way too small, which we did not like it, but it was okay. Since, it is located in a small, 2 ways street, only one car can access the street at a time. Nevertheless, it is not too far to the Legian beach and Beachwalk Shopping Centre. We were both satisfied to stay in that hotel.
