The hotel is very centrally located, being adjacent to the Luton Mall, shops, pubs & leisure facilities, as well as a 5 minute walk from Luton railway station and 2 miles from Luton airport. The hotel looks to have been refurbished/rebranded relatively recently, and was in very good condition. The rooms are compact, but have everything you could need, and have quality furnishings. Breakfast was busy, but excellent for being inclusive in the room rate. Overall, to have a good quality room, within 30 minutes of central London, at £35 for a twin room including a hot breakfast, is exceptional value. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel, and would certainly stay here again.

I have stayed there many times for overnight stops. It feels like home from home. The rooms are always clean & presentable with towels, & toiletries plus a hairdryer & ironing facilities. At the moment full breakfast facilities are not being offered due to the current situation but can still get a takeaway breakfast. The staff are always polite & very helpful. I couldn't recommend it more highly. K. Eno

Good for overnight stay for airport”
Had to find an overnight stay option in Luton since my flight was scheduled ridiculously early. I didn't expect much from this place, but I was positively surprised. The staff are very friendly and accomodating, and the interior was much comfier than expected. It's all clean and looks fairly new, so perfect for one night.

Great value, clean, modern hotel”
Much better value than most other hotels in the area. Breakfast was really enjoyable and there’s free tea and coffee in the reception. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are small but comfortable and clean with a good size TV. In terms of value and quality I’ll stay here again.

Great hotel and is so comfortable. The location of the hotel is so strategic cos beside the mall and primark. The room is clean and the staff is friendly and they allow us to leave the luggage while we out upon check out. Will come again

A place to lay your hat”
The Thistle is a lovely place with character edge.the location is the centre of town which is a bonus. It has its own parking facilities although limited which come at a cost. When you walk in your always greeted with a smile and check in is so fast. The receptionist are great and make you feel welcome.the layout downstairs is basic but awesome free Tea n coffee. Also free WiFi and usb ports for charging. I'd totally recommend this place. The rooms are clean and tidy although I've stayed in the same room twice and I'm happy with it. The room is very clean and when you turn on the TV it has your name on the screen.;) A great night sleep a n awesome breakfast and my type of hotel to stay in.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. 10 min drive from airport parking. Would look to stay there again when flying from Luton.

Location is great with nandos nearby, the mall next door and just your general needs. Airport / train station is not too far either! Friendly environment in the lobby - great stay would stay again! Although the only downfall no a/c In rooms … so not a good idea for hot days!

Cheap and cheerful Central location just off the mall, single rooms on the small side but well equipped and enough plug points to power the whole of Luton. Only disappointment was the shower power (on the 10 and top floor). Functional full English breakfast included in the price. Would stay again for business.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions , the hotel is very clean the rooms and staff are excellent . Its situated in the centre of Luton walking distance from the train station. Breakfast was nice but a variation of eggs would be better.
