It's not as spacious as I expected, but I was very satisfied with the fact that I could have a separate bed. The space was enough to open a 20-inch suitcase in front of the bathroom and a 24-inch suitcase in front of the refrigerator...? It wasn't super spacious, but I don't think it was cramped either. The bathroom was clean, but it had a feel of a container bathroom in the room, if you know what I mean? The sound... yeah... The bathtub was fairly deep, and there was plenty of warm water, which was nice. The location is good since it's close to the bus stop. Oh, and I think I saw something in the reviews about a room without a window, so when I sent the confirmation email while booking, I requested a room with a window. They said there were no rooms without windows, so I went with some expectations, and it turned out to have a view of the front building's window... The buildings were very close together, almost like seeing windows of neighboring villas... haha. Well, as long as the price stays the same, I think I would use it again given the price and location. It's definitely a much better location than the hotel I stayed at two years ago. ^^

The male staff member speaks Korean well, and even though the other staff members may not speak Korean, they are very helpful. The cleanliness of the room was not without dust, but there were no noticeable flaws. I was worried about possible odors, but the bathroom was clean without any smell, and there was no musty odor when I used the air conditioning; I had a good stay for three days. The room is small, but it has a table, a mini fridge, an electric kettle, and a TV (however, for VOD, you have to buy a ticket. They said unlimited VOD is available on the TV for around 1000 yen, but I didn't buy it). The bed was comfortable and nice. Also, the bathtub was spacious, which was great. There was a coat hanger next to the door, along with a deodorant and maybe a shoehorn. The hotel has an ice maker (on the 6th floor), but there is no water purifier. According to reviews from others, they said no bottled water was provided, but on the first day when I went, there were two free bottles of water (we stayed as two people) placed on the table. After drinking the bottled water, I took some ice from the ice maker and mixed some with the remaining bottled water to boil in the electric kettle, adding the rest of the ice to drink. You can store your luggage both before check-in and after check-out. I didn't end up dining at the hotel restaurant (which is next to the lobby on the first floor), but it seemed not very tasty as there were only one or two people there each time I passed by...???? It seems you can eat buffet style or order from the menu. The location is good. It's close to Hakata Station and within a 30-minute walk to Tenjin, so you can just walk around to nearby places at ease. Toothpaste and toothbrushes were provided in the bathroom, with a disposable toothbrush wrapped in plastic and capsule-shaped toothpaste about the size of a pinky finger included. After using up the toothpaste, I asked the front desk if they could provide more, and they asked how many I needed and gave me some. Oh, and when you turn on the TV, you can check hotel-related information or services on the main screen.

Its proximity to Hakata Station was the primary reason we chose Nest Hotel for our 12 night stay. Although we were reluctant in the beginning as their rooms were quite small, we proceeded to book and managed to settle our things in place with a little organizing skills. Basic necessities like electric kettle, a small refrigerator, coffee cups, drinking glasses, ice bucket, slippers, hair dryer, and towels, were provided in the room. Bath scrub towels, hairbrush, ear swabs, shavers, shower caps are always available at the lobby beside the microwave oven. They have an ice maker on the 6th floor should you want a night cap, and a laundry facility at the ground floor Room was serviced by housekeeping, towels changed, and consumables were replenished on a daily basis. two sets of pajamas were also provided. Bed were comfortable and linens are changed upon request. I only wished there were more pillows The hotel restaurant served good food which we did not expect to be as very few comes in to dine except during breakfast. Anjam, Sadicha, and Nya, who usually attended to us during our several visits to drink or dine, made us feel very welcome and served well. Thanks to all of you. We want to commend Ayaka from the reception for always being patient to give us directions for our commute to where we want to go, entertained our questions and went out of her way to provide us answers. Thank you, Ayaka. Overall, we give Nest Hotel our two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻. Our stay was a pleasant one and we would not hesitate to stay again for our next visit to Fukuoka. 😊

We had a great stay at Nest Hotel Hakata Station. The location was excellent, just a short walk to both Hakata and Gion metro stations, with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Our standard room was a decent size for a couple and felt comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more pleasant (added bonus - daily free drinks). Overall, a convenient and comfortable choice in Hakata.

First time to hakata with my mom. The hotel is somewhat easy to locate. The hakata metro is only a few mins walk away. The lobby, room and our room are clean and neat. Two bottles of water are provided in the room. Guests can redeem one free cold drink. The room is tiny as expected in Japan. Would definitely recommend to traveller for short stay.

First of all, I am not good at either Japanese or English, but I had no inconvenience during my stay, and the location is really good! It’s a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, about 15 minutes to Canal City, and if you walk along the Nakasu River, you will soon arrive at Don Quijote or Ichiran Ramen. I used it late at night without feeling unsafe as a woman alone. After 1 AM, you enter with your room card key! I saw many reviews about room size, but it’s the typical size for Japanese hotels. A good point to note when booking a hotel in Japan is that the rooms are generally small. However, the space utilization and comfort are excellent without any shortcomings. Also, the bedding was very nice. The provided pajamas are good too! I also saw many reviews about bathroom smells, but this part is also a cultural difference. In Korea, most bathrooms are tiled, but in Japan, small studios or offices and hotels with several small rooms mostly use cubicle-style bathrooms. This type of bathroom has many advantages, but one downside is that there can be a slight musty smell. Since the entire bathroom is covered in plastic material, it can get steamy, and depending on the user, ventilation might not happen immediately, which I think might cause the problem. However, many people don’t know that after using the bathroom, if you leave the door open for a while to let out the humidity and close the door to turn on the ventilation, it will be dry and odor-free in about 20 minutes! (The ventilation performance in Japanese cubicle bathrooms is very good!) My family has lived in Japan for a long time, so I know this method well! If you do that for a moment, it won't be a problem at all. The bathtub was deep, and the water pressure was excellent! However, when I pulled the sofa to retrieve something that fell underneath, I found many items down there... The floor cleaning was a bit disappointing! I plan to visit again the next time I go to Fukuoka!! It was a satisfying stay! 🙂

The restroom was clean and the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. Geographically, it is a 3-4 minute distance from Hakata Station, and the fact that there are nearby restaurants to eat and drink is a plus. The soundproofing between the rooms and the noise level were quite good, which made it really satisfying to rest comfortably during the trip. The refrigerator was a bit lacking, but apart from this, I was satisfied with everything, so if I have the opportunity to visit Fukuoka again, I would likely use this place again.

It’s a 3-star hotel, but I chose it because it had good reviews. I went there without any expectations, and it turned out to be a really nice place! It was neatly organized, and shower towels and other essentials were available on the first floor for use. It was similar to a typical Japanese accommodation, and I liked that I could freely control the temperature and airflow with the individual air conditioning. I stayed for two nights, and they did a great job cleaning, changing the towels and other items as well! It was really well-located, just a 5-7 minute walk from Hakata Station. It had good accessibility from the main road, but since it wasn't right on the main road, there wasn't much outside noise, which was nice :) There were no bugs, and although I read some comments about mold in the bathrooms, it was clean and not bothersome at all. (I'm sensitive about hygiene, but it was fine) The staff were very friendly, and it was convenient that I could leave my bag with them! I also made good use of the free drinks at the café on the first floor☺️ I think it was suitable for a single room, although it is small! The refrigerator isn’t very strong, but it’s cool enough. I was in the last room, and there was some noise from the neighboring room on the second day, but it quieted down quickly. (Could be hit or miss) If you’re visiting alone, I would highly recommend this accommodation! 👍🏻

Pros and cons of having been there more than three times.

I believe I have been to Hakata about seven times for business. Advantages 1. Relatively low prices 2. Close to the Hakata Main Street 3. Condition of the accommodation and bedding 4. The bathtub is deep enough for larger people to take a bath 5. The desk staff are really friendly Disadvantages 1. If you choose accommodation located in Gion, accessibility to shopping places like Nakasu is lower 2. The room is small and there is no view when the window is opened

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Hakata station. Check in process was smooth. The room was clean and all your basic needs are provided except for bottled water. Wi-fi was good also. The staff were polite and very courteous. They change the towels and sheets daily even if you did not ask them to. Upon check out, we were able to leave our stuff since our flight was a bit later in the afternoon. They also helped us to get a taxi to the airport. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel and will definitely recommend it to others. We will definitely consider this hotel again in the future.

The staff there are friendly and know English (mostly!) The rooms are reasonably sized for the price and are very comfortable. They're always cleaned very well. Most importantly, it's about a 5 minute easy walk from Hakata station, which makes getting to places very easy (and also opens up an immense amount of good restaurants to eat anytime you want).

Hotel located in very good location, close to Hakata station within walking around 5 mins. We stay in a Triple bed room with pretty good size with comfort bed. What I admire the most is the helpful & friendliness of Reception that make the hotel even more beautiful. Will consider to revisit if I back to Fukuoka again.

Went to breakfast at 9:40 and were told we must leave by 10:00. A staffer came by just as we were finishing, showing us his phone with the time, 10:00. A mother with a toddler was trying to calm him down to finish breakfast. I felt the staff could clean up the buffet and tables without being so demanding of her to leave.

Great stay in Fukuoka

I thought the room would be modest from the pictures and low price I paid, but was pleasantly surprised to find it large and spacious. Despite my many luggages, the room had more than enough space to accommodate them all. Very clean amenities and comfortable bed, had a great rest. Great no-frills hotel for all travellers, located <5 mins from Hakata Station.

I used a twin room. If you utilize the space well (door, refrigerator), you can unfold both a 20-inch and a 28-inch suitcase at the same time. There is a mini table, which is nice for snacking in the accommodation, and they provided pajamas that were so comfortable I wanted to take them home. Overall, the cleanliness was good, but there was a cobweb behind the bathroom door, which was a bit disappointing; however, I didn't see any other dirtiness. At night, a smell was coming from the toilet, but it quickly got better when I closed the toilet lid. They also provide umbrella rentals when it rains, and there is a staff member who speaks Korean, making it easy to store luggage. There was a coupon for free coffee, but on the first day, the check-in was late, so I missed the usage time. On the second day, I couldn't use it due to my schedule, and on check-out day, the coupon couldn't be used, so I couldn't drink it. Also, it was a bit disappointing that there was no smoking area. Overall, I was satisfied, so if I come back to Fukuoka, I would like to stay at this hotel again.

It was a very beautiful hotel. Mineral water was prepared, and there was also a USB cable by the bedside, which was nice! Also, the pajamas were separated into top and bottom, so I didn't have to worry about them rolling up. I didn't eat breakfast, but there were many menus I wanted to try♪ As for whether I would recommend it or not... The way the bath towels were folded was too sloppy, and it made me doubt their cleanliness. This was very disappointing. If you don't mind the bath towels, it could be quite good...

Walking distance to Hakata Station, near convenience stores and places to eat. Walking distance to Tochoji/Kushida Shrine. Clean room and bed. Mid range. Tiny room but enough for a solo traveller, just enough space to open a large luggage in front of the toilet/front door. Toiletries available at lobby. Breakfast is delicious. Restaurant is clean.
