A great find in Sydney”
Being a Sydneysider myself, I returned for an unexpected one night. I wasn’t spending much time in my room so was happy with a clean amd comfortable room in a safe environment. I booked a King Room with my own ensuite which was located at the back of the property away from the street. The Lodge only has a small amount of rooms which is a nice feeling. They have both Queen & King bedded Rooms with Ensuite’s, the Queen at the front of the Lodge. The other rooms have shared bathrooms, and also one family room. The lodge is a clean and very well located location, Neutral Bay wharf two minutes down the street. If you stay then enjoy Breakfast or Lunch at the Cafe next to the Ferry Wharf which takes you into the city. It is called Thelma and Louise. They take bookings and I would recommend this over the weekend. The room I enjoyed had a new bathroom,, be it small but perfect for 1/2 people. The room had ample storage, mini bar, iron and a kettle. The rooms have fans as are not air conditioned. I would ensure your TV is working when you first arrive. They are very helpful. Note: Front desk closes at 7:00pm So in summary it’s perfect for a few nights. I would pay the small difference to stay in the King Room. There is also a kitchen downstairs for guest use.

I was blown away with the standard of this budget accommodation. It has heaps of character. The staff where friendly. The kitchen facilities were great. The quality of linen and towels top class and the cleanliness was top notch. All in all I rate as one of the best value places I’ve stayed at in Sydney.

We had the en-suite room which also had a king sized bed. Excellent facilities in the bathroom and lovely accessories. The guest house has authentic features like pressed ceilings which we loved. Great value for money with ferry to the city at the end of the street.

hadn't been here for years a good deal made me check it out again and i wasn't disappointed i was working around circular quay and the ferry down the hill was a perfect way to get to work and home again. will consider this again

Communal areas kept very clean, nice to have kitchen available - well equipped. Also laundry room. Bedrooms vary significantly. Ours was very small but fine for what we needed, and had a view of the harbour bridge and CBD. Less than 5 min walk to ferry into circular quay, very handy to get into the city. Would definitely stay again. Friendly staff.

First time stop , quick overnighter m parking easy , food choices a plenty at neutral bay , nice drive and walk under the bridge, plenty hot water , clean bathrooms , smiling services from front desk.. its simple but all you need . quiet and will come back

Great budget accom ”
Neutral Bay Lodge is great if you are on a budget. The room I had was basic but had everything I needed including a fridge, kettle, tv and safe. I was working long hours so didn’t spend much time there, but it was great to have those private ammenities. I was able to park off street which was an added bonus. Would stay again. 🙂

Extremely homely, very friendly staff! Late check-in was a bit difficult (there's a knack for opening the front door), but otherwise absolutely wonderful! The beds are VERY comfy
