Great base for exploring Cape Town”
Very clean hostel, with friendly & helpful staff. Situated within walking distance of the V&A Waterfront where there are lots of shops & restaurants. Comfy beds, decent sized ensuite & complimentary towels in the female only dorms. Didn't eat at the Randy Warthog restaurant but it was always busy so that's a good sign of the place! Would definitely stay here again if back in Cape Town.

The most friendly staff ever”
The first thing to point is how friendly the staff are! Readily good vibe from everyone and sincere smile! If you want to explore a bit waterfront area, that is a good location. A bit far from town Center though, but with Uber it's 5" and cheap! Facilities are good! Clean! I recommend! :)

What a great aportunity to meeting evry body from difrent country seating together sharing life expriance in a beautifull kichen where any one cook his own food ,tv rooms ,spatially wednsday night a crow serving as a fantastik tradational brai wow for me that was nice !!!!

Tv room and lounge full of mozzies, just some of those anti mozzie wall plugs surely can solve the problem, but everything else 10/10

Hi Barend, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to review us. As you know, mosquitoes are a part of life in a subtropical country. Especially in big cities with lots of standing water. As you were made aware, we do sell Tabard a mosquito repellent at reception so whenever they bother you, just come down to see our friendly receptionists who will assist you in buying the product. Everything is nice over here but we use to have wifi here that u can use, i have asked a few times about it but seems like I end up at dead mans door cause they do have wifi but you can't even update a app on your phone with it so don't be fooled bout free wifi, the place is under construction for quite a few weeks now so for over a month and a half the loby and living room has been used as the bar, so no space to enjoy a bottle of your own wine aswell as if you are a smoker you have to smoke outside on the street where 1 guest has already been robbed of their phone, appart from this it is clean with friendly staff

Hi Barend, thank you for your feedback. We did encounter some teething problems with our WiFi as we had to change our ISP due to the previous one giving man problems. With every new system there are bound to be minor glitches. We can confirm however that everything seems to be in order with regards to the WiFi at the moment. When you or other guests complain about the WiFi we do report it to the ISP but the rest is out of our hands. I do understand that reception also assisted you by placing you on the Office network just to help you out while the ISP sorted the problem out. As mentioned, we were busy renovating the bar to be able to offer you a better product so a popup bar was put up in the lobby. However, the communal kitchen was still open for the consumption of your own alcohol. We are generally a non-smoking hostel however we do allow smoking at the entrance or the pool area of the bar which is open from 07:00 am to 00:00 am. Kind Regards Gareth

Accomodation was good, was convenient in terms of our business trip, had a good time. Reception could have been friendlier. Also, there was too much of noise at night and early hours of the morning, other than that, no other complaints.

We do, however, have designated smoking areas for those that do which at the moment is outside at the pool area which is open from 07:00 am till 00:00 am or at the entrance.
