Poor hotel”
Large spacious rooms, very friendly and trustworthy manager
This is less than one star hotel with poor quality beds, sorry bed linen, bad pillows, horrible bathroom (no shower curtain, dripping faucets), non functional fridge and TV, no internet (despite advertisement), ancient airconditioner (we didn't dare touch it), minimal breakfast. The large rooms could be easily upgraded and if they could fix the bathrooms then it might become a decent hotel. Nice roof terrace is not taken advantage of, just used for deposit of rusted old furniture. Regular staff is occasionally friendly and pleasant, but the manager, is phenomenal, very helpful with travel arrangements. The neighborhood is extremely noisy and the garden terrace downstairs is open and loud until at least 2 am.

Could this be the worst hotel in the world?”
The manager is a wonderful person, reliable, helpful, with very good command of English and able to arrange trips in and around Aswan at good prices and with good service. We loved him and appreciate his services, made the stay at this hotel bearable.
The hotel could be upgraded to a three star hotel, it has spacious rooms and a nice hallway. To their credit the carpet was clean - this is the only positive. We laughed about all this, you might not. Besides the mandatory mosque nearby it has a beer garden downstairs, it stays open until 2 am. It is quiet during the morning hours and then the noise starts amplified by all the concrete buildings nearby. The mattresses are horrible with with holes between the springs, a 3/4 sheet and a little cover blanket. The lump they call pillow is lousy. The bathroom faucets all leak continuously, there is a basin in the middle below an antique shower head and a rim that might have been designed for a curtain, probably never used. The water sits in a puddle on the bathroom floor. The painting on the walls with dripping paint all over might have been done by a grudging employee or a kindergarden kid, just accentuates the horrible feel of the bathroom. They gave us little towels and soap at our request. Here is hot and cold water. The fridge not in the power plug smelled horribly, the very small TV can get a couple programs on the air with all the grain. The airconditioner from 1950s, rusted in the wall above the bed, we didn't dare to try it. That is if you dare to plug it in the shabby plug. Everything looked like nobody cared just waiting for the place to come down to the ground. One day the maid stayed 4 hours in a chair in some room talking on her cellphone, the men sit downstairs, nobody works, they just looked amazed at the streak of fools that keeps coming through the door with reservations. There is no Internet, depending who you ask you might get a surprised look or a shabby excuse that it doesn't work tonight. The breakfast made us laugh, it was tea, three bites of bread, two triangles of processed cheese and one jam package. We only saw a couple of bugs, we expected more. We already paid 4 nights on Agoda, we stayed the fifth for free, but it feels like we overpaid.

Altough its a little bit old but the environment its clean . The manager Mr.Haohao is nice and give us a special temple and cruise tour.
