Great location ”
This hotel feels a bit down on its luck, but it's still a clean, solid non-love motel option for Daegu. The location is excellent - - a short walk from the subway station, and I feel like we were a 6,000 won cab rode from anywhere we wanted to go. One peeve... The photo shows an Angels in Us coffee shop (seriously tasty coffee chain) , but it's not. It's an in house coffee shop and we never seemed to be there when they were open (not the hotel's fault, obviously!).

Good location but poor internet access at the room”
good location for the district of western daegu, good hotel features. however as a business traveller, good internet connection via wi-fi is very important, but there was very poor internet access at the room (but very good at the lobby), so i almost spent my work time at the lobby. if you don't mind this aspect, then the rest of condition was good.

Friendly Hotel and Service with a Smile”
the hotel taegu shines when it comes to friendliness and assistance by all their staff; nothing is too much trouble or not a part of the service. the rooms are of average quality but have standard features (including free internet!). the location is very convenient close to the duriu subway station. this 3 star hotel was better than the 5 star we stayed at (saint western hotel) when it came to food, prices and help.

mostly just fine, no hassle checking in or out, and a relief to be able to do so without resorting to sign language. Room was comfortable and clean - obviously under new management (it says so everywhere) so that may have fixed previous reviews complaining of inadequate cleaning. Only problem was a confusing shower system that had to be coaxed to give more than a dribble of luke-warm water.

A basic tourist hotel that was pleasant enough. Take exit 19 from the subway, turn left and walk up the hill a couple of blocks. You can't miss it.

Spacious Room, Excellent Restaurant/Breakfast ”
Fair location near subway and Duryu Park. Staff friendly with fair amount of English - though I wouldn't say they give a concierge service as promised or as price suggests. They only give a small amount of help, definitely no booking of anything or detailed help. The room was a little dark even with all lights on, but spacious wist fast and free wifi.

More like a motel...”
The hotel was in a good location for our purposes, however I cannot speak to convenience of public transportation, as we mostly traveled by car or taxi. There are nearby convenience stores and a brewery in the basement, which was also nice, however the room itself was not fantastic. It was decent and served its purpose, but it was small and had a kind of musty feeling, although it wasn't dirty. Also, the toilet seat was very broken. That all said, you get what you paid for and the room price was cheap enough that I still might stay there again for the convenience.

There was a renovation at the lobby when I stayed. I can say that it is cheaper than rivals, but it is an old fashioned and aged hotel. Room was clean, Staff can speak English enough. If you are planning to stay only for a night it is OK. HOwever I have to stay hotel does not worth 4 stars...

Cozy place, great deal”
The beds are really nice! I have to say I enjoyed the plush blankets and sheets. Also, the place is very clean so no complaints there. Only one person at the front desk spoke English but that's okay because check-in / check-out were really easy and fast. They are very friendly and greet you with a smile. I would def. recommend this place!

Poor location. Mediocore at best”
The location of this hotel is its major killer. $15 taxi ride from the train station. $6 taxi to the main business area. With the money I spent on taxis added up, I could have stayed somewhere nicer and closer to the downtown. The room was bland with very dated furniture and a small TV. The garbage cans were both dirty. If you want shampoo, you have to pay for it which I was very suprised by. Cable on the TV is the basic package, one or two English channels. Caution to parents: there is a channel on one of the stations that was not blocked, so be careful when channel surfing. No wireless in room. Website said LAN connection but that didn't work either. I booked this hotel because it said it had massage, but that turned out to be in a sauna under the hotel. I didn't bother going down to check it out. It seemed a bit seedy. Not the relaxation I was looking for. I would not recommend this hotel for these reasons.

This hotel was in a poor location, and was in pretty shabby condition. The front lobby is striking and beautiful, but the rooms are old, dirty, and lacking in comfort and ammenitites. For the price of this hotel, it is really not worth it. You can stay at love motels which are much cleaner, nicer, and cheaper. Overall, I was really disappointed and grossed out. I've stayed in budget motels a lot, and I don't mind a little shabbiness if the price makes up for it. I'm fairly easygoing about such things and have seen my share of bargain motel rooms. What I do mind, however, is dirtiness-things like scummy bathrooms, crusty carpets, and dusty bedding.
