Experience local life - home away from home”
What a fabulous stay! We spent 12 nights here over the Lunar New Year, and it was the perfect location to relax and enjoy local life, while still being within easy reach of approachable tourist spots. The host family are a delight and went to great lengths to make us feel welcome; we ended up as guests at their family new year party, as well as joining them for some meals, on outings to their favourite local spots and even to visit friends. There is always somebody around the house which makes it feel very secure, and they are always keen to help you with breakfast, bicycles or motorbikes all available to rent for good prices. Our room was pretty and clean, with big windows, a small balcony space and a really good shower. Netflix on the tv was great for a quiet night. It felt like a home away from home. The rooms look like the pictures. We had such a wonderful time that we are quite sad to be leaving. We'll definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Vietnam!

Traveled for two months through Southeast Asia. I think this was my favorite stay. The host Tuan made me really feel at home and helped me so much. Even got a really good deal at one of the tailors who is a friend of hers. Probably paid like 30% less than other people I talked to. The house where she lives with her husband and her two little children is very nice and modern. Basically everything is tiled and what really caught my eye was how tidy and clean it was after almost two months in Asia have seen a lot and I almost couldn't believe how clean it was. Location is two or three kilometers from the center in a nice Vietnamese neighborhood. Can rent scooter or bicycle from her to get to the town. I will definitely come back to Hoi An and for sure stay at her place again. Straight 10/10

I stayed at New Destination for 3 days. It was a perfect place to rest from the busy town. The room I got was specious, AC worked perfectly and the bed was very comfortable. What I appreciate the most is the help I got from Tuan regarding my further travels. Even though she was away for a few days, she got a bus ticket for me and arranged the transfers. new Destination is a very pleasant place, the family is more than nice and they make you feel at home. It’s about 3 away from the old town but the bikes are there, available at a very low price (20k a day) and I personally really enjoyed my everyday rides. Thank you :)

The breakfast is also really good and you can buy really low price and good food There ! It is definitly the best homestay we have done ! Don't miss this !!

our stay here was amazing, the best by far! the owners which are a lovely family btw, were so warm and helpful. the location is beautiful right on the country side, great to take a ride on bike and very close to town. The family made us feel like part of them so it was a big experience, we lived the local experience and we loved it! the room was just great, brand new and with all the facilities you may need. And also the food they made for us was delicious!! definitely would come back and would recommend. p.s the location that agoda showed wasn't accurate so get in touch with the owners first

Tuan organised a taxi and a motorcycle to get me from Da Nang Airport to New Destination. I arrived a little late because my plane was delayed. Getting on hubbies motorcycle to go across the two bike-only bridges was the most adventurous sunset. Your a 10 - 15 minute bicycle ride out of the Old Town. New Destination sits a couple of streets back off an estuary it village life, it's peaceful and relaxing and the kids are great too ... soccer in the street ... breakfasts are really good ... and there's always Netflix if you choose to stay in at night. Highly recommended!!!

One of my best places to stay in Vietnam. Everything worked and was clean. Moped could be rented directly for little money and it was only 10 minutes to the city center. The family gives great tips and helps with organizing. Would book here again on your next stay

Tuan is very kind host. We really appreciate the neighbourhood. To come here you should rent a motorcycle to cross the bridge. Room was clean and well equiped. The kindness of her family made us very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The family is very nice, friendly and accommodating. The room was big and clean with AC, the bathroom was the nicest we’ve had so far. We also had a balcony which was really nice. In the morning we got a breakfast with coffee, the omelette is amazing! It is a bit far from the centre so you do need a bike or a motorbike, but if you don’t feel like going to the centre, you can also have dinner at the house :) All in all really enjoyed our time here!

The Best accomodation in Hoi An”
Excelent room with comfy bed, Hot and good pression shower. Breakfast was good. The host was so friendly and helpfull. 10 min by motorbike to the city center. Warm environment. I recommend this place if you want to stay in Hoi An.

We stayed in both the 1st floor and 3rd both had perks. 1st floor was very quiet. 3rd has a nice view with lots of light. The rooms are very clean, however I found the home stay itself a bit messy. The owner is very helpful when you can find her. Amazing value for money, with the comfortable beds and TVs with Netflix. We did book to have a quiet stay and found the area very noisy. I hope this was just because of the new year.

It was a really good stay with them. They are really nice and they have two adorable children ! It’s a bit far from the center but perfect if you are looking for a quiet place ! Everything was wonderful! The only downside I could think of is that to it‘s on the other side of the river and the bridge which connects both sides is only accessible by bike or motorcycle. So if you can’t or don’t feel comfortable riding a motorbike, this place won’t be for you

Really enjoyed our stay at New destination homestay. The owners were very kind, reccomended top spots to visit in Hoi An, served really good breakfast with coffee and simply helped us with everything. The room was tidy, had clean towels and bedclothes. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay, more pors than cons! Read the review for all details ”
Pros:- friendly staff, nice clean room, bed was comfy, nice bathroom, Netflix on the TV in your room, good working aircon, little balcony, good fast WiFi, pick up service from the bus station for only 50k per person which was cheaper than a grab, bike rental for 120k per day and the staff speak good English and are happy to help and direct if needed. Cons:- atleast 10 minute drive from places to eat and is quite far from everything so you will definitely need a bike but we only used our bike for one day and about 3 hours but we had to pay for 2 whole days which was not great as it wasn't explained when we rented the bike. Everytime you go out and leave your room they go into your room to check that the aircon is turned off, lights off and TV off which is okay but if they were worried about it being left on they should get an electric key card instead of entering your room when you're out. We had breakfast included but my partner went down at 8.30am and waited down stairs for 30minutes but no one was there to show what was available or even make the breakfast for us, I then messaged the owner through agoda at around 10.30am and she said they were out but could make us breakfast now.. We wasn't told the breakfast time so this wasn't great. We had no toilet paper in our bathroom which has been a first as all the other hotels have toilet roll, and the towels were not very good you could hardly dry yourself. At around 10pm we had a knock at the door and it was the owner asking us to turn our TV down which is okay BUT they have children and we could hear them playing very loudly at about 7am in the morning which wasn't ideal when we were trying to sleep, along with the noise of the workers across the road which was so loud it woke us up at 7am also. Obviously this isn't the hotels fault about the workers and it couldn't be helped. We have stayed in home stays before and know they have families with young children and the noises can't be helped. Our stay in Hoi An new destination was fantastic. It’s a 10 min drive from the city center and 20 if you rent a bike which is a much better option I would say. There is not much tourist, it’s very quiet and the neighbourhood is lovely. The owners will go out of there way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place a bit away from all the tourists in Hoi An old town.

+ : The family was so kind and friendly with us, we had a warm welcome. The room was really clean. Comfortable bed, enough place for two of us. Good breakfast and a non-expensive place to eat if you want. The location is in the countryside so it is calm, and very great for doing bicycle rides, we enjoyed it so much. - : Not enough water, hot or cold. Sometimes - not often - we opened the shower and there was nothing. And, for details, the towels could be better, they are not really absorbing. Thanks to them for this nice stay.
