Beautiful location ... disappointing facilities”
Would I recommend it ... I guess if you want to try skiing in Georgia, Gudauri is absolutely fantastic: snow, views, runs ... but not facilities. Hotels, restaurants etc ... need a lot work to get it somewhere near Alpine Resort standard. But don't give up on, go there, I'm sure you can manage not so great hotel condition for the sake of seeing and experience absolutely magnificent mountains.

This Is Where You Should Stay”
If you're going to Gudauri, I can't recommend a better place that ticks all boxes for a great hotel. It was really great for the staff to let us check in earlier because arrived way earlier. Plus their restaurant is a treat. It's the most decent one you can find especially if you are an early riser. The location is just close to the telefrak and other winter activity hubs so definitely a plus plus.

Room for improvement”
We took a duplex apartment for a night. The location of the hotel is just a couple of minutes to the Gondola to go up the ski slopes. The area also has ski, sledge and snow mobile rentals and a few restaurants. From the moment we entered the hotel we got that feeling that the construction was only 95 % complete and it was hastily opened up to public without finishing touches. Right from the entrance where there is a plain looking unpolished stairway up to the rooms where we found loose bathroom fittings and screws lying in the wardrobes. The large glass pane in bedroom was dirty with construction sawdust sticking to the glass which gives that unpleasant feeling of not able to see clearly the beautiful snow covered mountain slopes. There are other buildings under construction nearby and this factor also obstructs views. The room and bath were clean but the stairs leading to the bed rooms on the loft were DUSTY. Shows that attention to cleanliness not given. In room telephone - not provided.. This is a problem since our room was in a separate building from the main reception block. If you need to request something like a towel, you need to put on warm clothes and walk in the weather. There is an induction cooker available but kitchen lacks smaller Cookware. Only 2 large sized pans provided. Electric blankets are provided for main bedroom. Electric adapters were provided upon request and the reception staff were quick to deliver them to our room. Generally the staff were cooperative and even our luggage was taken to room from our car. Car parking spaces are limited near the entrance and hold just 5 or 6 cars.
Breakfast was very disappointing. I went down at 9.30 am for breakfast and they said eggs were finished because there were too many guests. POOR EXCUSE !!. Here's a piece of advise for restaurant manager. "If you have more guests, stock up on more provisions". Another disappointing policy of the hotel is room guests need to pay 50 Gel per person to use p
