Great reception and information upon arrivale. We had been upgraded but they were very sorry our view wasn't very good.A plywoodwall about 30cm outside the window! New construction which Ho chi Minh city is full of. But regardless of this our stay was great. Clean room great generous personnel and a very good breakfast! I recommend this hotel!

Beautiful Hotel, Fantastic location”
i made use of the sauna steam rooms and foot massage whilst at the hotel and was thoroughly impressed. the service and the staff are all fantastic, the rooms were cleaned to a very high standard each day. the location is far enough away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to the centre of ho chi minh to be easily accessible. vet impressed overall and will certainly stay again when i visit next time

great value, relaxing, wonderful”
The New Pacific is very good hotel for business and leisure travelers alike. All of the front desk staff and concierge speak English. All of the hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel location is very good with easy walking to nice restaurants. The hotel has very fast and reliable internet. My room and bathroom were very large and comfortable. The laundry service is great. The hotel decor is unique and beautiful with its gilded architecture and use of rich dark woods, marble and high ceilings, it is really quite beautiful. The hotel has an amazing spa that all guests should use and it is a great value too. I would strongly recommend this four star hotel to anyone.

Great service”
The hotel is not close to central city but the staff are really helpful and district 1 is only a short taxi ride away for about. The staff were really friendly. The rooms are really clean and have an inroom safe. The breakfast selection was good. The only fault was that the bar advertised wasn't actually open. They said they were waiting on a license. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there. The tour prices are far more reasonable than the district 1 hotels.

Clean room with an amazing breakfast”
This was a nice hotel. Great location if you want to reach your hotel quickly from the Saigon rail station or the airport. The staff were very professional and helpful. Excellent security in the hotel. The room was clean and modern. The spa features all cost extra. The pool was in an odd location but it is on the roof. The breakfast had a huge selection of well prepared dishes, and the view from the terrace seating was incredible. There was no hot water during my stay and the quality of the toiletries supied by the hotel bordered on absurdity; the toothbrush bristols fell apart in my mouth. The complimentary drink and fruit basket were never supplied. If you are looking for a hotel near the city centre, shopping facilities, restaurants or nightlife, I suggest staying in District 1. This is an excellent hotel if you need to be close to transportation or if you are on a short business trip.

Vietnamese Extravagance and Phenominal Service!”
One of the most extravangant and ornate foyers I've ever seen in my life! Amazing timber carvings and chandelliers adorn almost every surface of this uniquely Vietnamese hotel. The service and staff were amazing being ever so generous with their time, patience and generous advice on any range of things albeit for the limited english (as with most place in Vietnam irrespective of the stars). At only 15 mins from HCMC International Airport and a 10 min walk to the Ga Saigon (HCMC train station) the New Pacific Hotel is perfect for the short stays in/out of HCMC. A longer stay may see you losing your sense of humour and appreciation for the solid timber fixtures and furnishings. At a great price including b'fast and transfers this three star is certainly great value for money and an experience like no other!

Nice and comfortable”
The hotel is very new and modern. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. The hotel is not near the city center with all the shopping and attractions. Transportation is a requirement for any activities or shopping. The breakfast is below par for similar hotels in the area.

New hotel with nicely appointed and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located in District 3 and requires a 15-20 minute taxi ride to most attractions. Nice hotel with an attentive staff. The breakfast is less than standard compared to other hotels in Saigon.

Very Nice Hotel”
room spacious with lovely furniture and clean. big was more a king than a double but the only critique is that it wass very hard. great room service from the cleaners and the concierge (tu)was very hospitable and helpful. the buffet breakfast had lots to choose from from the hot food was often cold so you may need to ask them to heat up? did not like the coffee at all! i would not recommend the massage because even though you pay before you go in, everyone expects tips as well. the girls expect alsmost as much as you paid to enter. and they were very rough and a bit sleazy in the sense that you felt uncomfortable. the pool is great and the view at the top is awesome. the hotel was within walking distance to liquor outlets, clothing and food places. theres also a shop across the road that sells marlborough cigarettes for $19,000dong ($1usd). all the others sell them for 30 and 40,000 dong. taxis were cheap to district 1 where most of the sight seeing stuff is and to the airport was about $5usd. we felt that vinasun taxis were the best and honest to use. atm and bank to exchange money right next door.

Lovely hotel”
big and clean hotel, everything looks new as hotel is about 2-3 years old. red wood can be seen everywhere ,it likes all furniture, beds, decorations are all wood. service is good, receptionists speak english well with smile. room are big and clean. breakfast is just ok . location is a bit disadvantage as no shopping, amusement, restaurants,bars around.

hotel was located outside of the main district 1 but this did not cause any problems as taxis were so cheap. try eating with the locals...it was great fun and they were very happy to beable to practice thier english.

friendly staffs and very clean room ”
All the staff are very friendly. They will always do their best to help you. They will guide you thru the crazy traffic if you got problem crossing them. I lost my hp on the first night and they keep trying to help me by calling my friend in SG several time. Very impress by their service. The lady who did my room cleaning was so hardworking. She was so diligent that it touched me. She was sweating so much due to the hard work (my room was messing)yet she kept a smile throughout and make my room so neat n tidy. She also accept request such as extra pillow and drinks without any hesitation. My room was with wifi which allow me to use my laptop without going to the lobby (some hotel only provide free wifi at the lobby).

Not Really a 4 Star but does the job!”
Not really a 4 star as advertised. Rooms were fine and good-sized bathroom but beware of the big wooden furniture, ended up with several bruises from the edges of the bed!! Not very centrally located, but plenty of taxis, is about 20-30mins walk back to Ben Tranh market area. The rooftop pool is nice but theres not really much space to lounge around the area. Not a bad hotel, but there is better in around in Ho Chi Minh, so stay for the price rather than the luxury.

Great Service from all Staff”
We picked this hotel as it was close to the airport and was the end of our trip so we didn't want a long drive to airport when we had to leave. The staff were fantastic. The hotel does not have any balconies which I prefer to be able to open a window or door and sit outside. We did however have our room right next door to the open air balcony of the cleaning staff quarters so we were able just to go outside to have a smoke whenever we wanted. The restaurant was closed when we went to eat there so we did not try it. The buffet breakfast was not what we were used to and could do with a revamp. The massage facilities within the hotel are fantastic and very very well priced, the steam and sauna and jaccuzi and the hour massage was about $20 and you could spend as much time as you like in the steam rooms and jaccuzi..

The design of the hotel was special, The staff were very efficient and very very very helpful. It was ver convenient. the breakfast of the hotel was delicious and food were served was quick. The facilities in the room was good. I was able to watch TV at night to entertain myself and my family. The hotel was excellent to my point of view.

Good service and really helpful staff”
The hotel was beautifully set up, it was very pleasant. It still feels new and the set up in general is great. Just one thing that was disappointing was the Internet, it was awful, the other annoying thing was the elevator which was operated by a keycard and it didn't always work. Arghh!

An osasis in District 3”
I think District 3 is an area not most travelers would reach out to but has advantages over the hustle and bustle of District 1. Great restaurants(right next door is an amazing restaurant), bars, walking distance to Reunification Palace/War Museum, $2US taxi to anywhere in center Saigon. We found it a great place to come back to and re-group. We would stay again!

Reasonable hotel but not 5*”
new pacific hotel although is a 5 star hotel but is very dated. the room are ok but the furnishings are very old style and aged. the staff are very friendly and will try to accomodate whenever possible. the breakfast spread is limited and taste wise only moderate.
