The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help me. I left my bag in the taxi on the way there. They helped me get it back! Someone put a child lock on the tv, so they offered to give me another room immediately. The hot spring in the room was heavenly. The breakfast staff was so accommodating. I was on a business trip. I was very pleased with the neighborhood. There were many choices of restaurants and coffee shops near by. It was a pleasant walk from the MRT to the hotel. My room was on the first floor and I could see the sunset. I wish I had booked a higher floor for an even better view! Definitely would like to visit again. Perfect if you are doing business in that part of Taipei!

Go for the in-room onsen. That's all. Vastly over-priced”
A drab exterior, in need of a wash and brush up. A dreary location at the end of a road, overlooking the rear end of a railway station and construction sites. A large room like a mausoleum. Dark colours. Torn mattress cover (Room 0707). The in-room onsen was magnificent however. The water was smooth and very relaxing. The toilet and the bath were separated by obscured glass screens which did not reach the ceiling, so... poopy smells drift. No glasses (for our beer) in the room, or anywhere else in the hotel as the kitchen had closed when I asked (about 5.00 p.m.) At breakfast, there were loads of glasses! Very forgettable breakfast. We were leaving early, so I asked if there was a chance of some food in a box. Nope! Rather brusque receptionist (on arrival). The one (name upon request) I spoke to the night before departing to book a taxi for us FORGOT to note this for her colleague. Apparently, the concept of Customer Service has not reached this establishment.

Our first time stay in Hot spring hotel in Taipei. The room bathtub with Hot Spring water/bath is good idea just that if come with bigger bathtub will be much better. Breakfast was good even for us as a vegetarian. To nearest train station its about 650m or 10mins walking distance. The same street to train station got 3 vegetarian restaurants, 2 7-eleven, family mart, starbucks, etc. Taxi to Airport from hotel is NTD1,300 which is reasonable price or cheaper than taking Uber.

Will not stay again unless treasure the spring bath and space”
Plus: Spring water bath, above average room size good for family, clean, lots of eating place mearby Negative: Breakfast is appallingly bad, not much choice, food are not refill for instance one morning when we arrived at 9am half of the hot plates are empty, no fruits not even one type are refill. We only have bit of corn and coffee with toast. That is about what u can have for a buffet breakfast if you do not count on the plain congee. We did no bother to go for breakfast for last three days of stay. Even though we actually pay extra TW$400/day for my youngest to join the breakfast. Also the 10 min walk from MRT is far and the road is not easy to walk on.

I book here because of the Hot Spring shower provide in room, no bad for this facility, but unfortunately the hotel lobby in front having a big project of Train station, looks very awful. Breakfast provided was very bad taste.

Nearby environment is poor”
Staying in this hotel is nice if you disregard is nearby roads and building. It locates far away from center of city. The worse is nearby roads is under re-contruction, so it is dirty and have staying in an old village feeling. Road passing through hotel is very dirty and hv bad smell ： unpleasant to walk through it. But its room is super big and clean！Attitude of hoyel gugs and cleaning lady is super GOOD！

It was good, but several things could be improved on, such as Breakfast should include more western dishes. Should have luggage service since elevator is so small.
