The customer service was excellent. I had a problem with the room that was joined by the door in the 2 rooms. The person in the next room was smoking weed & the smell was awful not a smell I wanted my 10 year old to smell. I went down to the front desk & was given a new room.

This is a brilliantly located hotel, close enough to everything for those happy to walk a little. The rooms are a good size but who needs space when you are in NYC? We have stayed here before and would readily return. Many excellent eating places very close too. As someone who is more familiar with travel in Europe, the Hilton is certainly expensive. But no more than anywhere comparable in Mahattan. Prices have really escalated in the past decade. Maybe this is yet another cost having a (rich) (disagreeable) New Yorker as President. The very agreeable agent at JFK as we left said forget Manhattan and hang out in Brooklyn. Food for thought.

Very busy hotel. So much going on at any given time. Hotel was in a wonderful location with easy access in to the Lobby and out to the city. Rooms were not maintained to the degree I feel a Hilton Hotel should be maintained. Our room was a bit worn and torn. There was a difference between the stock photos and the actual room. Our A/C went out during our trip but the repairs happened in a timely manner. Edgar, our repair man, was delightful, kind and worked efficiently. I would stay at the Hilton Midtown again and recommend to my friends and family.

Good location as near to central park ,carnegie hall also time square. For asian who travel and please bring.own kettle and instant noodles, or else u would not use.to it for more than 5 days travel. Easy to get access to groceries but mainly western stuffs.

This is our third time staying at the Hilton Midtown. We were on the 11th floor, last weekend, and the wallpaper was ripped and walls had marks from carts. Shower needed a good bleach scrub as the grout had mold. The hotel just seemed worn. Great location, but there are other hotels I will look at next time.

Either the Agoda system reset in my process of booking the Hilton, or I made an error. Despite my frequent travel and number of times I have booked a hotel without error, I will take the accountability for the mix up. This was my plead to the Hilton staff after my reservation had been made, accidentally, for a day early (on a one night reservation). Since they had already accepted my payment of ~$250, I reached out to the hotel to see if they might be willing to help me out. Not only did I not receive a room for the night, they were not willing to even give me a preferred rate. This on top of their condescending customer service staff is why I will do my best to avoid Hilton family hotels in my travels.

Had a great stay at the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel. Friendly staff, great location. Only complaint is that the website advertised free WiFi (internet). Some what misleading...free internet is available however, ONLY in the lobby...not in the room. Should be specified in room/hotel amenities.
