Just book it! Super place. Great location. Comfortable, great amenities. ”

The NEXT Hotel is in the Brisbane Mall. The Cainso is an easy 4 minute walk. Heaps of shopping - don't underestimate the Brisbane Mall. The hotel was spotless, and I mean absolutely crystal clean. The 4th floor has a meeting area and rest pods that massage etc. The restaurant is simply amazing but not cheap. The staff were beyond wonderful. How lovely it was to be greeted with people who care. Show shine downstairs. Four complimentary items from the fridge (soda water, beer, chocolate, OJ). Bedding was so good I took photos of the labels and will use that set up at home soon. I've stayed in over 200 hotels and for the price, this one is spectacular! I am not associated with the hotel in any way, I just think it deserves a super good rap.

FANTASTIC MODERN SLEEK HOTEL....”

MODERN NEWLY REFURBISHED, LOCATION, CONVENIENCE

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. I work in Brisbane and am aware that this hotel was recently renovated and change of ownership. Therefore wanted to give it a try. The entire interior of the hotel is brand new with all modern facilities as expected in a new hotel. This hotel incorporates all latest electronic technologies inside and out of the room. The room was very impressive with all brand new fixtures and furniture. The room was fully automated and could be controlled with the included smart phone with the ability to control lighting, TV and airconditioning. The bathroom fixtures were brand new and spotless clean. Generous shower with hot water. The bed was comfortable Breakfast was great. Plenty of foods to choose from. Included coffee was ok. I would recommend the hotel to anybody staying in the city. Location cannot be beaten!

Great Spot. Great Value for money”

free wifi, central location, includes 4 minibar items per day

You will find cheaper in Brisbane CBD, but I doubt you will find better value for money. This place is modern with smartphone control for almost everything. The price includes Internet, wifi and 4 minibar items per day. It is central, (only 5 min walk to either bus rail station or Southbank. It is my new fave place to stay in Brisbane. Haven't looked to see if they are in other Australian capital cities yet, but if they do, that's where I will go.

Booking inclusions discontinued”

The hotel is in the perfect position in Queen St mall Brisbane. It is clean, cool, and comfortable. Staff were professionally friendly, unfortunately though with some having no distinct personality. Having booked and paid for my 8 nights early last year, their were complimentary inclusions no longer available. They did honour the inclusions on my request, in the fact that I had booked nearly 12months ago. There was no mention anywhere that the inclusions were no longer available, I only found out by chance. Buffett breakfast was also supposedly included however that was changed to a promotion on the second morning, of “we now have upgraded” and will be serving “ a la carte “ breakfast. Same breakfast menu of about 1/2 dozen choices each morning which soon became quite boring. Unfortunately I did not feel comfortable in relation to the changes, it was as though I was just a “ package deal guest” and other folks whom booked recently were the a la carte guests.

Dear Marina, Thank you for taking the time to write a candid review about your recent experience. Please accept our sincere apology for any inconvenience caused due to the changes & updates that occurred in offers and inclusions during the past 12 months since you made your reservation. As you can understand, the hotel does need to keep itself updated based on guest and market needs, a lot does change in 12 months. All our social media websites were amended to reflect these changes. We do however apologize once again for any lapse in communication at our end and thank you once again for your feedback. Best Regards Mayur Balsaraf Rooms Division Manager

New high tech room with no hassle”

Big & High tech room, location, Friendly staff

Hotel is in a central location, close to shopping streets, city hall, museum and also walking distance to the cultural southbanks However if you are driving in, u will need to turn into Albert street and Burnett lane, which is a shared pathway for pedestrians and vehicles. We were confused and made few rounds for 20mins before realizing it, as we are unsure if the car is able to travel on it. Room is big and comfortable. Clean and high tech. I would give them a 5 stars rating if there is a bathtub in the room. Food is nice too at the lennons. Service is excellent.. All in all, we have enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return should we visit Brisbane again in future.. Thank you.

Pleasantly surprised”

Free super fast wifi, free movies and 4 free mini bar items

Loved staying here. Hilton and Sofitel should be looking over their shoulders now that places like this not only offer super fast wifi at no cost but also give you free movies and mini bar items in well equipped rooms. What a great attitude and professional standard set by the staff, too. Wish hotels in Perth could take a leaf out of the next Brisbane in terms of service and value for money. This is my favoured destination in Brisbane from now on!

Excellent location”

I loved the location of this hotel, right in the heart of the Brisbane CBD on a walking street. The restaurant in the hotel is incredible, with wonderful servers. I did not gel with the bathrooms, they are basically part of the room only with two sliding doors to separate them. Also the lighting in the room was not ideal, we could never figure out which light switch was for the bathroom so a late night toilet break resulted in turning on the lights in the whole room and waking each other up EVERY TIME. But still you can't beat the location!

Fantastic location for a city break”

Hotel is located on the main shopping street making it the perfect location to easily access all the sights of Brisbane. Loved the complimentary mini bar items and the transit lounge was fantastic as I had a late flight so was able to explore the city in the day and have a shower before a quick walk to the train station which took me directly to the airport. Staff were all extreamly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Fuss-free & modern-would go there again if I'm in Brisbane.”

I was in Brisbane for 3D2N as a solo traveller. Got down from Central Station-about 15min walk. NEXT Hotel is really convenient, smack right in the middle of the shopping district. Esp if you are a girl who enjoys shopping like me-Forever 21 is just next door, alongside SportsGirl, ValleyGirl, LUSH, etc. The lounge area in the hotel is really an awesome place-I really should have utilised it alot more than I should. Really great for solo travellers for me-fuss-free. I am actually a Hilton member & contemplated going to Hilton but looking at how NEXT trumps it for every single category, it was a clear choice.

Comfy and accessible”

accessible location, very modern room, smart design of the bathroom

My stay was great. The room was very nice, and it really maximized the use of space. Very modern. The room lighting is adjustable to different moods via the samsung phone remote. Free wifi is a bonus. The malls and shops are just a few steps away. Would stay here again when I visit Brisbane. The free movies failed to playback at one point, but resolved after a while. Overall, it's a very good hotel. Highly recommendable.

The Next Hotel is quite simply the best hotel in Brisbane that we have stayed in ( we have stayed in over 15 different ones) and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Best service, staff always smiling, happy and eager to offer help. Room was sooooo clean, modern and fresh. The Lennons bar had the friendliest and most efficient bar staff too!

Great location, clean and very welcoming”

I commented to my husband going up the elevator it feels like we are in a hotel overseas, not in Brisbane. The room was clean, tidy, loved the freebies from the mini bar, enjoyed the beautiful pool and cocktails forgot I was in the middle of a major shopping precinct. The only thing is that the rooms, although very nice, are a little on the small side. I was glad I was only there for one night. I wouldn't stay longer than one or two nights but a great location to crash
