Wonderful Trip”
The overall stay in Ngoc Tung Hotel Riverside at District 07 is wonderful if you are planing to go Vietnam for a budget trip. However, it will be quite hard to get a taxi in that location as it is just a small road near the river. The hotel experience is good and the staffs were friendly,flexible and proactive. The Hotel was clean and the price is reasonable.

Nice hotel only for clever travelers”
If you can change the disadvantage to advantage by yourself, this hotel is the best for you. 1) Bad location => Taxi soon comes after asking at the front, and go anywhere with reasonable charge. 2) No shop around => Go shopping at Lotte Mart 10 min taxi, and can buy fresh, delicious, but cheap fruits (Mango, orange, passion fruit, dragon fruit, etc.), cheap beer, local snacks and can enjoy in your room. Reasonable price for souvenirs. 3) No famous restaurant => Within 10 min taxi, there are local restaurants. You can try to order by Vietnam language menu with your dictionary. It must be your new discovery for your taste experience, with lower cost. 4) Not completely clean => Room is big enough (depend on class), with big bed, big restroom, big bathtub, warm water shower. One ant never kills you. There is no mesquite. If you want perfect clean-up room, you can request with additional charge. Maybe. But I always pay small tip to clean up reasonable level for me. 5) Not perfect English => Hotel lady and man are very kind with warm smile, always try to understand my request in English. We can ask to print-out our boarding card after Web Check-in. Only ONE CAUTION: You had better to print out the Map of this hotel for Taxi Driver, as it is a little complicated. And Hotel Name on the top of building is Ngoc Tung Hotel in Green, without “Riverside”. Please enjoy your HCMC stays with your ideas in lower charges. Good luck!

location is far but hotel is okay”
as district 1 is the central, district 7 is quite far, however, we were managed to see the hcm because we rented the bike. the downside of this, is that the staff cannot speak english, so if you want to ask something, it is difficult to communicate. As to room and facilities, we had standard room, their standard room is was actually big with bath tub and facing the riverside. got value for money. going to the districT 1 just need to take bus

Best hotel for limited cost”
I recommend this hotel, if you have the same needs for your hotel. "Best price, with enough space and function, even not so clean and necessary for taxi to move". 1) Hotel charge:Much lower main place in District 1. Room size is enough. Minimum functions are available, shower/ bathtub with warm water, small refrigerator, boiling water electric bottle. 2) Location: Located District 7 next to District 1. So it is a little bit far from main sightseeing place. But the charge of taxi is very cheap. You can go main places within $5. Small convenient store "Viet Mart" is within 10 minutes walk, can buy beer and snack. Local restaurants are also near, but there is a few visitors. You need to communicate by body language, not in English. I have no scared case, it must be safe area. Lotte Mart, shopping center is 10 min taxi, restaurants, shops, supermarket. I always buy cheap mango and fruits, local snacks for souvenir. 3) Cleanness: It is not well cleaned up. You may see an ant. Towel is not white, but washed new towel everyday. 4) Staff: Very friendly. Front lady soon prepare taxi, only for 5-10 minutes waiting time. 5) Equipment: Restaurant on grand floor can serve simple local dishes. If you don't care "Not white towel", "Not perfect cleaned up room", and can enjoy local atmosphere, I recommend this hotel. Have a nice trip, please.

Cheap, choose deluxe not standard room. Deluxe is big size, less than usd15, easy access to district 1, with bus 34 stopping in front of hotel, you can reach dist 1 in less than 20 mns for 5000 vnd. Wifi is weak.

Nice hotel in an average neighbourhood”
The bed was comfortable. The security was excellent. The room was well equipped although the carpets needed cleaning really bad. The standard rooms bathroom had a window as well a small one in the bed area. The hotel is in district 7 on the river and if you are looking for a place out of the touristy area and want to mingle with the locals then this hotel will serve you well. Lots of cheap eateries around. Lovely little coffee shop in the hotel with great prices and very friendly servers.

Peasonable cost hotel”
Location is not good for traffic access to District 1, Center of city. But we can get a taxi, if we wait within 5 minutes. Of course, there is a heavy traffic jam in the morening and evening. This is HCMC, you need understnad it. There is no convenient shop near this hotel. Massage shop 200,000VND/60 min, not best technic, but cheap. Hotel restaurant is not best, but cheap. Many local restaurant around this hote, but u need to understand Vietnam launguage, no English here. Hotel staffs are nice and frendly. you need pass small tip (20,000VND). If you need only sleep-well space in your room, minimum request from u, this hotel is reasonable cost-performance. I will use this hotel again, because of lower room charge than other hotels'.

Easy access to District 1”
The mattress was a bit hard but the room was well maintained and the air con worked when needed. I thought it might take 1 hour into District 1 with morning traffic, but it only took 20 minutes. Lots of local eateries and coffee shops around this area. The staff are very helpful, including lending me a motorbike helmet.

Friendly staffs and Nice Location.”
I put up at this hotel for the first time and I must say it exceed my expectation for the price I had paid. I used to stay in D1, D3 & D5 and by comparison, I am totally satisfy. I do have the chance to sample the café located at the ground floor but according to my friends, the café serve good food and very reasonable price. The hotel is located along the riverside... it reminds me of the Singapore river 20 yrs ago. There are several interesting shops along the road if you take a slow stroll. Bigger shopping mall like Lotte Mart and VivoCity is also a short distance away via taxi.

Too far from everywhere, but not so quiet area; back rooms have not nice views. Construction sites nearby and traffic in the riverside road. Hotel itself nice and clean.

Excellent value! ”
We are two couples who stayed here for 4 nights over TET. It was really nice to get out of the crazy "backpacker" area of HCMC and stay in this nice yet local area of town. It is only a short 15 min drive or uber ride to get into the touristy part of town. For the price we paid, we felt this place was a great value. The staff here were extremely friendly and even let us store some of our extra baggage while we motorbiked across Vietnam. I would definitely recommend staying here!

It's completely more than 2 star hotel, honestly!”
We feel relaxing staying here. It's not a long distance from the city centre, with only 10' by motobike or car. The kitchen staffs are very helpful for giving us cooking equiptments and show us how to use them. Therefore, we will definitely come back here next holiday.:*:*:*
