This is the best place you can find for a such amount of money! The lady host speaks great english and she is very friendly. Recommended me some places to go in Da Lat also booked for me very cheap countryside tour which was great! Breakfast was also very delicious. My room was very clean also towels were changed every day. Thanks a lot it was great stay!

Pros: the place is old but cosy and has certain atmosphere. Located in the very center, close to some attractions. There is a pizzeria 24h on the opposite corner and lots of local eateries. Cons: My windows looked at some back street, but it still was to noisy from the main street. Some rooms of this place apparently face the main street, and I can't imagine, how those people slept at night. If you think of Da Lat as of quiet provincial town, as I did, you'd better choose something to the South from the lake, it's a much quieter and greener aria with some inexpensive options

I booked into Nguyen Minh Guest House based on the reviews on Agoda. When I arrived there at 6pm the night of Tet, we were informed that the hotel had no water due to an issue in the town. At first I was unhappy that I had not been informed by the guest house, then the staff/owner allowed me to use their wi fi to look for another hotel. They booked a taxi for us to go the other hotel and then they refunded all of the money that I paid on Agoda. I have never found this level of customer service in Vietnam or SE Asia for a business that has just lost a booking. This is the level of service that all other guest houses should strive for. So even though I did not stay with Nguyen Minh Guest house, I would throughly recommend them based soley on their customer service. Well done! When I visit Dalat again I will surely book here again.

I would highly recommend Nguyen Minh Guest House in Dalat for a very simple reason: Staff hospitality. I traveled with my daughter to try to enjoy the cold city of Dalat. We were very exhausted thru the trip which is overnight in a bus. We came in very early and cannot be checked in. We requested if there is in any way we can get rested using any spare room- They did find one! We enjoyed our stay, they have been very accommodating all the time! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Small business run by mom and son, both were very nice to me. I am a veggie and still got decent breakfast cooked by "Mom" herself, so you can see how nice and hospitable the staff was. Double-bed room was nice and clean. If you get up late in the morning, noises from other guests could bother your sleep. I think hotel staff should stick notes on stair to ask guests walk up&down quietly. My next stay in DaLat will be at Nguyen Minh hostel again for sure. Thanks for lovely stay!

Very freindly and caring owner”
We booked the room with double bed at NM guest house because we couldn't book family room or room with 2 beds. But when we arrived at the hotel, the owner checked we have 2 children, she gave us room with queen bed and single bed without extra charge. When we saw our bedroom we were very surprised as it was very clean and very big and bright with a big window(it was not a guest house it was at least 2 star hotel cus when we were in Ho chi min, we were very disappointed with the 2star hotel and the hotel's owner) . The location is about 10 min walking distance from the hotel but it was a nice walking distance.. for us. Also with very cheap rate, the breakfast was included for all of us. it was simple but I could see the owner tried her best to serve the guest. We order Vietnamese beef noodles ( we knew that it costs us 25000vnd) and we really enjoyed it. As I was going to pay for the 2 bowls of noodles, the owner did not take money saying its free for us. We ended up paying for the noodle soup but I could feel they are different to what I had impression about hotel owner in Ho Chi Min and they were really nice people. I would like to thank you all the family owners and I will come back to this hotel when I have chance to come to Dalat.

It was a very pleasant stay in Dalat, especially staying in such a nice guest house. The stuff were all very fridendly, a little bit shy though. The male receptionist was very helpful, recommending restaurants for me to have meals, and arranging bus for me and my friend to go to the airport. The room was nice and big, with a very resonable price. The location was good as well.

Nice budget hotel”
Nguyen Minh Hostel is a basic hotel that is nothing special but you get your money's worth. The lady who runs the place is very friendly and helpful. She let me check in very early. I booked one of the day-tours they promote and it was well organized and pleasant day out. She also organized my bus trip out of Dalat. The room is basic and has by far the hardest bed I've ever been in, it will take my body some days to recover. There's a good hot shower which is a real plus in cold and rainy Dalat.

Best value and great service”
This guest house was opened 4 months ago, run by a mother and son team. This is the second time I stayed here and it felt like visiting my relative! Dalat Market is a 15-minute walk away or VND25k by taxi. We really enjoyed our daily walk to the market because we found good food and coffee along the way.

Number 1 World Class Hotel”
We were greeted with a warm welcome and given a map on arrival so we were able to plot our itinerary immediately. The room was spacious and modern; a great design with a floor to ceiling window and balcony, conveniently located in the centre of town. The bed comfortable and shower hot with compliments of bathroom grooming.There's a cable flatscreen TV, minibar with a Dalat red and complimentary bottled water and custom made hot breakfast. Probably the best hotel I have stayed in my Asian travels, 5 star, do stay here!!

We had a great weekend stay at Nguyen Minh. The staff and owners made us feel right at home and helped us arrange trips and travel. We had a long wait for our shuttle bus to come home and they even brought us tea! Wonderful little spot.

very good price. the staffs are very helpful. simple breakfast, bread or noodle. I took futa bus to dalat in the late night, but the staff still serve me in a very kind attitude, I'm so impressed. I rent a motorbike for 100k. he staff can help to book the bus ticket. after all, it's very valuable. I wanna come back again.

Relaxing, quiet and cosy”
This guest house gives you great bang for your buck. Our room was really comfortable and clean and even had a charming little balcony looking over a backstreet. It's family-run and everyone is extremely friendly. They can help you with everything from hailing a taxi to renting a motorbike to helping you find something tasty to eat. Breakfast was yummy and filling with the option of choosing Western style (eggs, baguette and jam) or delicious Vietnamese style (pho or something similar) and your choice of strong Vietnamese coffee or tea. The hotel is away from the noisy areas of town which is nice after a long day. If you have a problem with stairs request a room on one of the lower floors. We were on the 5th floor so lots of stairs for us but we liked the exercise!

My wife and I stayed here 8 days on our honeymoon. This is the best hostel I've come. The price is reasonable and the owner and staff are very nice. I just feel like I'm home. Highly recommended. I will come back to this hostel on another holiday in DaLat.

Value for Money, Great Location, Friendly Staff”
This place is just brilliant! It's the cheapest room we stayed in, in Vietnam and the room and breakfast were of a great standard. When we arrived the hotel owner told us that the room was only booked for one person (I must have made this mistake when booking on Agoda - silly me!) but it was no problem and we were shown to a spacious room with a double bed, bathroom and balcony. The bed was a little hard, but nothing outside of the Vietnam norm. The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful, although at times it seemed as if he was a little overrun. This was quite apparent at breakfast when we had to wait about 30 minutes to even get acknowledged... There were only four tables so I felt this was a little unreasonable. However this is easily overlooked for all its other good points. Breakfast of fried eggs, bread and a drink was nice, but took a while to come out (even after we'd ordered). The hotel itself is quite close to all the town action. Night market is about a 5 minute walk, the lake isn't much further, and there are some nice food options nearby. Delat was hands down the best place we visited in Vietnam. Check out the waterfalls and silk farm by bus (bus station is a short 5-10 minute walk) and of course crazy house (about a 15 minute walk).

This cute place has 4 floors with mixed rooms, no elevator though, which wasn't a problem for us. They also insist on bringing your bag up which is neat. This place doesn't look like much from outside but the inside is just real clean and smart. Bigger addition is the super friendly staff and the three types of breakfast you can order each morning. They also rent out decent scooters for a mere 5 usd. All in all we ended up stayin in dalat for 2 more nights than planned!
