Hotel is far away from Bologna city”

It it located out oity, in the village called Villanova. Public transport was very difficult to use. Even town information centre gave us wrong information, we took a bus and didn't get near. Finally we took a taxi to get there. Bus from Villanova to Bologna came once in the hour on Sundays and bus-stop was not near. Hotel was really nice, large clean rooms and there were a mall behind the hotel. With own bus or own car: I highly recommend this hotel. the hotel is ok. nh is walking distance from a mall. so food and other shopping is ok.

Two night stay”

After a previous visit in the month we returned for a 2 night stay. Very comfortable rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Only downside is that there was no proper restaurant for evening meals so we went out both nights.

Super ambient business hotel just outside city”

No criticisms whatsoever as this business hotel provided both exceptional service and hospitality necessary to make our stay joyful. Situated just 10 mins from city center the hotel was clean, spacious, and served good food! Would stay again without hesitation. Free nescafe coffee in the lobby!

Acceptable”

This hotel should be renamed to NH Villanova. It is outside of Bologna so unless you have a vehicle be prepared to pay a substantial taxi fair as there is no feasible bus /station close by.

Excellent hotel, good rooms breakfast and restaurant, gym facilities are a bit basic though.

Customer service needs improvement”

We booked 2 rooms for an overnight stay. The first room has to be switched to another room due to air condition problem but the problem was solved quickly. The second room however, was first given us someone's room card and maybe luckily we couldn't open the door by mistake. We then went to the reception and have the problem rectified unfortunately the room card given to us was not working. We returned to the reception and addressed the matter again and she insisted the card is correct, later she came to the room and tried to open the door using the card, after several failed attempts she opened the door using her staff card and let us into the room, she then left the scene quickly without issuing a new card to us which means we would face the same problem if we leave the room during our stay.... The room is clean and tidy, but the customer service was somehow disappointing....

My usual stop in BLQ, a nice hotel, close to a shopping mall with a couple of decent restaurants. Could do with a better gym though.
