The room was as advertised: clean, spacious, and very quiet, even though it was on the second floor facing a busy street.

The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the shower was easy to manipulate--not always the case in many hotels.

Excellent service in a splendid location”
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during which we explored Madrid. The location is within walking distance (<1.5 kms) of most of the historic city, incl the Palacio Real. The rooms are comfortable and bathrooms well appointed , but not spacious, which we did not find a problem. The staff was exceedingly friendly and eager to please their guests. The compact size of the hotel gives it a really boutique feel. The concierge Francesca gave great recommendations to restaurants and shows and we found her judgement very accurate. Finally the hotel has a spectacular small gym on the 8th fl, which looks out over the Plaza Canovas Paseo del Prado. We would come back here anytime.
Very centrally located hotel”
There are a few NH hotels all located quite near to each other. I chose NH Paseo Del Prada Bcoz the location means I can walk to plaza mayor, Puerto Del sol and even atocha station. The botanical gardens and the museums are all a short walk away. However the room is rather small but compact, providing all the basic necessary amenities to have a comfortable stay. We slept very well on our 3 nites in Madrid
Excellent Stay in the Heart of Madrid”
My stay here was simply brilliant, the room was furnished in a classic yet ultra-comfortable manner, the bed was super comfy, all amenities were brilliant, and it had all that you needed. Location-wise, it was close to the metro station, while you had three major Madrid museums right within walking distance (especially Museo del Prado which was right across the street!). Staff were helpful, spoke English, and check in/out process was quick. If in Madrid next, would not actually bother to stay anywhere else!
Great Location with exceptional service”
the location of this hotel was perfect. it's across the street from the prado. the room was clean and nice with modern amenities. but what really stood out to us was the staff. our luggage was lost at the airport and javier at the front desk was so extremely helpful making phone calls to help us track down our bag. it eventually was found and delivered to our room a few days into our stay with a hand written note from him. his friendliness and help was greatly appreciated and i would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a great hotel in madrid.
Very Nice Stay”
The hotel staff was one of the friendliest and most helpful I've encountered in a long time. Without hesitation, they helped me navigate an unfamiliar (to me) business center computer. And when I told them I wanted to be a certain train station, they quickly volunteered that another one would be more convenient. All done with a smile. The room was as advertised: clean, spacious, and very quiet, even though it was on the second floor facing a busy street. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the shower was easy to manipulate--not always the case in many hotels. And the location, very near the Prado and a large park complex, was ideal. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
Location great ,but rooms be sure and ask what type of rooms they are.”
We went here during the Easter break ,and this is my review of our stay for 4 nights here. I didn’t book the car pick up from this hotel because it’s a bit pricey as the distance from airport to this location is not so far,I booked to www.welcomepickups.com they are the best drivers ,polite and texted us via WhatsApp and call us when our flights at arrival delayed because of the strike of the pilot and airport personnel . Upon arrival a young bloke help us into our luggage for check in ,the normal procedures of getting your data but ,r caption manage to explain the breakfast we have but not the other amenities of the hotel ,we were given a hotel in the 7th floor. Now,our room was 702 but honestly to everyone never choose this room if you are couples, single probably ok,the reason is the room mirror was on the corner of the right side of the bed and Toilet mirror were also in the side ,the ironic part the Tv is on your left side .the light on top of the door ruins your sleep so you need an eye mask ,I was not happy and requested for a change of this room. Now we were given room 614,it’s a nice room, square room that is better than room 702,but after our dinner, when we arrived it’s very hot in the room and air conditioning is not working, take note we are being charge additional euro just to move to this room. As typical in most hotel, the air on can be controlled by the reception if it’s hot or cold based on the weather outside Madrid ,we don’t have issue of this in any other hotel but here air conditioning were controlled up to what your requested room temperature.so again we were moved to another room now in Room 214-this is a disable room but nice and fine but again a problem of this room whenever someone flushed their toilet on 314 you will here it every now and then and disturb our sleeping ,we didn’t complaint anymore as we are in Madrid for Easter week and we have tours to take most of the day .so in general the location is great close to everything ,not
Nice”
Good. My friend and me booked for 2 days separately. The first time when it says breakfast not included, the nice receptionist told us we it is included. But for the second time, with another receptionist we when checked in at midnight on Friday, the guy insist as it says breakfast not included, we have to pay for breakfast in the next morning. We paid for different price when we booked these two night but it wasn't a huge difference, we thought it was because of different dates but I don't know why this happened? The nice thing was I only found out that the room I booked was only for 1 adult but they still provided us with a room for 2 adults. Thanks a lot. I will come back to this hotel if I go to Madrid again. The location is good, less than 10 minutes walking to City center and its not noisy at night at all even its in Madrid centre.
Fantastic location, lovely hotel”
The hotel is across the wide and busy road from the Prado and the Ritz, convenient to all the tapas bars and restaurants in the Letras and Huertas neighborhoods. Breakfast is lavish (and free). Staff was helpful and efficient. One minor issue for me was that I had requested and paid for a room with a partial view. We got a room overlooking the Calle de Cervantes, not the spectacular fountains, and it was a first floor room, directly across from the elevator. This may be an issue booking through a consolidator instead of directly through the hotel, but it was disappointing.
Excellent - Worth the Money”
This Hotel was in the best location that we could find.....near Plaza Mayor and great restaurants, across from El Prado and El Retiro Park and very accessible to the local metro and the Atocha Rail Station to anywhere in Spain. The staff was accommodating and the Room was always clean. Would definitely recommend!
Great location for art lovers”
Right across the street from the Prado and Thyssen museum is right next door. 8 mins on foot to La Caixa Forum and 10 mins to Reina Sofia. Breakfast has great variety and selection, and the hotel staff aim to please. Really enjoyed my stay here!
Great location and great staff”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Although the car park was close bye and the hotel gets a very good price, it was still €60 per night. Madrid is probably quite an expensive city so you have to expect that. The car was well located right near the tourist bus. A laundrette was close and good shopping and food handy. Generally the hotel was clean and beds comfy but the carpet and interiors were a little tired. Excellent staff. Very pleasant and helpful. Impossible to fault.
Very nice hotel”
Perfect location for the museums (El Prado is right across the road) Lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walk The breakfast is excellent, must have.
Fabulous location with nice rooms”
location is amazing. central for prado and thyssen museums. hotel is very clean. rooms are large and modern. stayed in a standard room and the bathroom was huge with large shower. bathroom all in marble. fridge in room. only complaint was reception desk. one gentleman, who works often, really doesn't seem to care. the lady was wonderful though. i would highly recommend this hotel.
superb location”
the location is walking distance from the key iconic sites of madrid. the breakfast is very generous and offers a wide variety of choices. staff is very helpful and rooms are clean.
cultural location”
nice clean hotel, close to old city centre but located within the cultural triangle of madrid, within five minutes of most important exhibition museums...also close to park, botanical garden and so forth; rooms very small but clean and functional, almost Japanese style...but only almost
Great location but rooms a little tired but clean”
the hotel could not be better situated. walking distance everywhere. restaurants line the nice streets enroute to puerta del sol and san miguel merchado. musuems and art galleries a stone's throw away and if you don't feel like walking, there's a taxi stand in front.
Excellent location, lovely property”
Our family was so pleased with this hotel. Excellent location literally across the street from museums, around the corner from excellent bar/tapas neighborhood, 2 blocks from respiro park. Rooms were clean and well-maintained, but on the small side. Staff were lovely and patient with our small children. Also went out of their way for our elderly parents. Breakfast buffet is decent but pricey for 16 euros; consider spending half that and going next door to VIPS for breakfast outside with a view.
Beautifully maintained hotel, unbeatable location”
Hotel staff were friendly. I declined to pay extra to upgrade the room and stayed in a standard room. It was attractively furnished but had little space to walk around and opened onto a tiny courtyard. The location was fantastic with several museums within a 5 minute walk, especially the marvelous and free Caixa Forum and great places for tapas.
Great hotel,Great location”
the hotel is in a great location, just steps away from the Thyssen museum and I loved everything about the service. Great bed, lovely people working there. Definitely will stay there again as I visit my daughter in Spain every year and have my new go to hotel
decent hotel”
We ordered a room with a view, but our view was blocked by a huge tree, so the view was very limited. I think the room was a little small, and the hotel could have used a roof bar or something. However, we were very satisfied with our stay and the location was very good: Close to a museum and a huge park and not too fare from the center.
