Beautiful hotel and situated right next to boutique shops and restaurants. A bit expensive in my liking however, but hey this is Austria which seems double the price around Europe.

Staff helpful”
At arrival there was no parking which was very frustrating since this is why I picked the hotel. The staff seemed to find parking after a bit of frustration and the trip was positive after that. Love Salzburg and the location is good.

Nice Hotel but lacks personal attention”
Hotel did not mention the construction happening on site, which meant constant noise during the day from 9am till 6pm. Not notifying upfront is not good practice. Also the hotel advised us to buy a Salzburger card, but neglected to explain that many options were closed in that week. The garage lacks electric charging. The breakfast is nice and has enough options. The location is also fine, not far from the center.

4 stars is one too many”
In my honest opinion this hotel is 3 stars tops. No bathrobe, o slippers and most importantly no kettle in the room! Check in and check out was cold and not smiling. Restrictions on breakfast due to COVID-19 meant we had to book time for breakfast so it didn’t get too crowded. Makes good sense but three people are breathing down your neck, not respecting distance limits it evens out the good intentions. Location is good though, quite close to many attractions and shopping. And rooms seemed pretty new. I’m not sure I would return to this hotel as they seem to missing many basic things that I usually see in 4 stars hotels.

Fantastic Hotel & Great location to all highlights”
Salzburg is one of my favourite cities now and it made it even better by staying at the NH Salzburg. The location was fantastic, close to all highlights in the new town and fantastic views from the hill behind the hotel. The old town was only a 10 to 15min walk away, beautiful walk through the streets and across the river. I will definitely stay here again. Close to the airport by bus number 2. Werfern was on of my favourite spots outside of the Salzburg city centre, an afternoon at the ice caves there was amazing.

Terrific!”
Very nice hotel. We were on the edge of the New Town, short walk to the Old Town but the neighborhood was very charming despite it being a bit on the edge of the Old Town. The rooms were spacious enough, clean and comfortable. We encountered some stree noise on Saturday night but just shut the window and turned on the AC and that worked great. We loved the view from our room which was essentially just other buildings but they were Salzburg buildings erego, charming and lovely. The only thing that bummed us out was that they hotel info book said they could exchange money and then we were told they did not in fact do that but no big deal at all...plenty of banks nearby. They should update their guest info books though. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable beds and very spacious room”
NH Salzburg-City Hotel is centrally located in Salzburg. The city itself is very compact and everything is within easy walking distance. We had a very comfortable stay - the room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the showers had great pressure.

Excellent”
The staff were very very friendly and helpful. Good area, short, interesting walk to Old town over a selection of bridges, The price was a bargain for this quality of hotel. If you don't choose a room rate including breakfast- which is excellent and till 12 on a Sunday - you are missing a treat- but you can book it on arrival for the following day and save a little. I will try to stay here again if in Salzburg.

Fantastic hotel in central location”
This hotel was perfect. The room had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful , nothing was too much trouble for them, especially Mario in particular, he made our check in go very quick and easy. The hitem is central, about 10 min walk to old town. Everything is easily reached on foot. If I ever visit Salzburg again I will definitely choose this hotel

Salzburg Wedding”
Our party of 6 stayed in this hotel when we went to a family wedding in Salzburg. Although initially my husband and I had booked a superior room and were given a standard room, this was sorted out very quickly. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We didn't eat in the hotel because we opted to use the many cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the old town. On the whole a very good hotel.

Great hotel but unreliable wifi”
Location was great, walkable to many major sites. The hotel staff were very helpful and even allowed us a late checkout for no additional fee, which was needed after running the Salzburg half marathon! They also had umbrellas we could borrow for the rain and were great with suggestions on where to eat, though we didn't manage to get to the suggested places. The room was very spacuous, clean and comfortable. Very comfy bed. The only downside was the unreliable internet. The first night the connection was terrible and we couldnt go online at all. Second night was better but not great. I would expect a hotel of this calibre to have a reliable internet connection.

location is strategic. near to all attraction by foot. no need to spend single cent on local public transport.. I like NH group hotel.. great service.. great facility.. room quite spacious.. if you travel to hallstatt, bus stop (bus 150) just in front of hotel.. you may board direct from there

Modern hotel in excellent location”
Hotel was next to main shopping street in Salzburg with many good cafes, bars etc. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. A short walk to river and old part of town. Room was spacious and modern.

I stayed with my son as part of a road trip round Europe. We really enjoyed visiting Salzburg and the surrounding area. The hotel was very comfortable andin a good location close to shops, restaurants ands attractions. The food in the restaurant was good although the service was quite slow, even on a quiet night.
