I stayed at this hotel for 4 days 3 nights in deluxe room type size of room big though, room was cleaned bed is king size which was comfortable. Breakfast was standard and average taste. Facilities of deluxe room was standard but the benefit of people who stay in deluxe room will get free shuttle service which is superior won’t get it. Selling point of this hotel it’s ...

I keep coming back to this hotel because of all it's good qualities. The location is great – midway between the night bazaar and the old town, within walking distance of both. There are lots of good restaurants, cafés, and bars nearby. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There are 4 computers downstairs if you are in need of one, and the staff can print things ...

This hotel is top notch. From the attentive staff, (and I mean all of them, doormen, front desk, cleaning staff, restaurant and bar staff. I highly recommend them. The hotel is conveniently located in the Night Bazaar area. I originally booked next door at the Suriwongse Hotel (old hotel). I booked 4 nights and I did not feel clean. The Hotel is old and had a very ba...

The hotel and the rooms are so tired and dim, not very very clean. I booked deluxe room but was quite disappointed to see that the room is just like an ordinary standard room. But that's all I don't like about this hotel. There are so many other good things that overall I would recommend this hotel to other travellers. Great Price. I made my booking on agoda for 3 nig...

If you are first timer to Chiangmai with family and children, this will be the most recommended hotel due to its very convenient location. Finding food is so easy staying here and the night bazaar is just outside your hotel. So.... you will not get bored.... because it is so enjoyable walking along night bazaar every night and sitting in STARBUCKS (just next to the hot...

Yaang Come Village is a beautiful little oasis just next to Night Bazaar. Hotel is just next to Night Bazaar, yet a bit inside making it a very quiet and beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed their nice breakfast, pool, which was just perfect for our son and, of course, proximity to Night Bazaar and other attractions! As others have mentioned, they did have a bit o...

when i read about those reviews left by previous travelers, i am skeptic about the conditions of the hotel and i actually regretted the booking but when i first step foot into the hotel, everything change. the staff at the front desk was so nice and patience. (my cousin request to change room due to she was put into the old wing) no fuss was made about the changes. t...

I really liked this hotel and will definitely go back. The rooms are really nice and good size too. The bed was comfy. The front of the hotel has a cute little bar with decent drink prices. Breakfast was good. Pool is small but looked beautiful. It's on a quieter street but just a few minutes walk to the Night Bazaar and the Sunday Night Walking Street. My only complai...

Staff was very helpful, service with a smile. Pleasant stay for 3 nights. Located just 10 steps from the night bazaar. But this night bazaar is almost the same as many street bazaar we see in Thailand. Try going to another night market near the Maya shopping centre (about 15 mins by tuk tuk / songtaew (their local small pickups).

We stayed for 4 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. 2 young kids, and a grandma. The rooms were well-furnished, staff very helpful and restaurant food, delicious. Even my mum, who's especially fussy was won over by the staff and well-appointed amenities. We'll definitely stay here again, in a return trip.

we stay at the star hotel chiangmai on every trip we do there. It is in the heart of the night bazaar area, but just tucked off the main street, so privacy and quietness is assured, the staff are alway s helpful and courteous, and nothing is a problem for them, The desk staff are always willing to help out in any way they can. The included breakfast is buffet sty...

Chiang Mai is only a 3 hour flight from my home in Singapore so it's very convenient for short breaks. Royal Lanna is well located in the heart of the Night Bazaar area so it's very convenient for shops, markets and restaurants not too mention the famous night bazaar with its hundreds of stalls. It has a swimming pool which is both adult and child friendly and it's c...

Bathroom very clean. Very near night bazaar. Breakfast add on 150b/person if it’s not including in your room booking. Variety quite ok, taste not bad. They got western and Thai food. Other breakfast option is you can walk up to 1 km to the market (anusarn / fruit market). Receptionist 24hours which is good. No fridge in the room. No lift at the building which is a mi...

location: located right in night bazaar. everything is so accessible. food, shopping and transport. staff: friendly staff. they allows me to have late checkout till 2.30pm. room: booked a suite room with a king size bed. but we added a extra bed at 300baht/night. room is quite spacious. there is no water boiler in the room but you can call the reception and it ...

There's always a receptionist at the front desk, and they're so nice, helpful, and knowledgable. I got there around noon, and she booked me a songthaew right then for an afternoon trip. They also arranged a songthaew for me when leaving for the airport. If you're planning to do day trips, they have a booklet to look through, and you can book through the hotel. The loc...

I have been living in many different hotels all across Thailand. Generally they are all hospitable but the Night Bazaar Inn takes it to a whole new level. The staff are very helpful, courteous and proactive. The location is great, within the Night Bazaar but slightly away so it's quiet and peaceful. Walk down the street and there is the Food places - local ones, fast f...

Wonderfully helpful staff, (also spoke English) . My room was exactly as pictured. Exceptionally clean! They helped me figure out both public and private transportation and helped set up two day trips for me. Hotel is within easy walking distance to the Old City , night bazaar and like of restaurants. I recommend the Whole Earth Restaurant a 15 min walk up the same s...

Was happy to arrive to a large room, with new aircon, new fridge, and large clean bath towels. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the decor in the room had a nice attention to detail. Everything felt like a hand selected piece to make the room match the antique feel of the hotel. Although the two Moroccan style lamps had burned out bulbs, I asked the desk f...

We are a Canadian family of 4 with children ages 3 and 5. Initially we only booked for one night online, but have extended our stay well beyond that now. For value for money, this place is hard to beat. For those reviewers complaining about it being run down and tired, I would say c'mon people, for 30 odd bucks a night for a family of four this place has a lovely po...

If you like rustic type hotels, then Rom Po will fancy your adventure. This Boutique Hotel lets you enjoy what ever you are doing in Northern Thailand. I recommend the air conditioned room because it warms up pretty good during the day here in CM now. The shower is hot and the room is very functional with Sat TV, small refrigerator, clean and well mapped with ambient l...

Elaborating on the pros and cons. We stayed here for ten days in November 2009. This is a new hotel, so is very clean. The staff are very hard working (never seem to go to bed!) and are very helpful and obliging. We arrived early and after a brief wait we were shown to our room. We stayed in a 'petit' room at the side of the hotel away from the main road - it was quie...

For the price that this hotel charges, it's great value for money ! Friendly, helpful & mostly clean budget rooms. Fairly basic & certainly not 5 star, but not everybody requires that.We had 2 separtate stays here in the hotel, conveniently located right at the gate into the Night Bazaar area. An easy stroll to everything you want, need or desire. The ladies in the kit...

The room was clean, the bed was comfy. There was also a small fridge in our room, so we could store some fruits. The location is the best, it's right next to Night Bazaar, 5 minutes walk to Fah Lanna Spa which is my favorite spa in Chiang Mai. Owners were amazing, they were so nice, friendly and super helpful. My stays were great. Last but not least, they made a very...

My sister and I reached to the hotel before our check in time but the guy working at the front desk offered to let us keep our bags there while we cruise the town. But we wanted to stay so he let us hang out in the lounge area while we used the WiFi. My sister had trouble walking so the 2 flight of steep steps (the first floor with rooms) were a little rough for us b...
Cheap places to stay in Night Bazaar

I booked for 2 night ended up almost staying a week. The hostel is near all the nice things. The owners are really friendly and helped me out when I needed help! What I really like about the room is that you have your own cabin, and a locket for you whole backpack! If I ever come back to Chiang Mai I would stay here again.

The hostel is outside the main square so it's very quiet which was ideal for us. It is close to the main tourist attractions and the night bazaar so you can walk pretty much anywhere you want to go. The staff are very laid back and friendly and they have some beautiful friendly dogs. The Wi-Fi is the best we've had in 4 months travelling around South East Asia. Also ...

The guesthouse was easy to find, good location, within walking distance to Night Bazaar, Tha Phe Gate and Restaurants. 10-15 mins walk to the Warorots Market. The place was exceptionally clean. The room I stayed in was a bit small but comfortable. The owner ( Patrick and Lynn were Awesome. Very courteous, polite and extremely helpful. Highly recommend this place...

I stayed at Finlay House for 2 nights. I booked 1 bed in female dorm, but felt like I was the only guest there (not the peak season I guess). + Location: Some mins walking and you can reach Night Bazaar. Right in front of the house was a small temple. My room was at the 3F and the view was nice. I really really love their tiny balcony with a bench where I could blankl...

This place is right next to the night bazaar and huge food market - great for eating out at night and experiencing thai food. They also have live music which makes for a fun evening - all of this is a 1 min walk from hostel but hostel itself is quiet at night allowing for a good sleep. Clean dorms, secure lockers, comfy beds, good hot power showers, cheap & quick laun...

Excellent facilities (swimming pool & a gym). The bar showed all the sports, had a pool table, PlayStation, dart board etc and most importantly, a great vibe. Clean bathrooms/toilets, good beds. The hostel is about a 5 min walk from Night Bazaar. Only downside is it's a bit of a walk to the two main clubs; Zoe In Yellow and Spicy. Other than that, the hostel is flawle...

Was a bit skeptical at first when we saw the sign to the hotel as the surroundings were quite run down but tucked in the little corner was a super hipster and clean hotel. The rooms and the hotel itself was very clean, location was great as it is right next to the night bazaar, staff spoke very fluent english and were very friendly. Breakfast is cooked and served only ...

It's a great price and location. It has a bunch of historical relics from the history of Thailand so it offers a unique experience. I had the fan room which is fairly bare, but good for the price. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's very close to the night bazaar.

I stayed for 6 night straight at B&T and i loved it! The location was in the central, near the Tapae and Chiangmai gate. The staff (Um and Noon) were super friendly, the gave the info about the surrounding and take care of me really well. The room was big, well litted and spacious, and they always provided water in the fridge. The staff cleaned the room and premises ev...

We initially booked here for 1 night and then increased our booking to 3 nights. The staff here are absolutely lovely - very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is in the middle of Old City and the Night Bazaar and yet still on a little side road, which was perfect - in the middle of everything and yet still peaceful for a good night sleep! Our double room w...

Hardware 9/10: Very nice for a guest house. Facility itself is very nice. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are well constructed. Software 7/10: Male’s bathroom/shower room wasn’t very clean, not very good smell. Location is ok. There are a lot of guest houses and hostels located closer to the attractions, but I like where I stayed, very quiet.

Was happy to arrive to a large room, with new aircon, new fridge, and large clean bath towels. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the decor in the room had a nice attention to detail. This is not a hotel but an appartment house having 10 rooms(maybe). The worker was not trained as hotel workder but an apartment manager/worker for Thai people, not for foreigners. Wifi did not have pass words. It indicates not protection. The appartmen owner is old but seems to be keen to accept travelors. If someone advices her, he may be able to improve her "h...

The location and price are the best I could find. Loikroh road is full of bars, pubs, restaurant and tattoo shop, easy to have fun at night. The hotel however is located in the lane no. 1 where there's a very big banner says "no bar no noisy" so it's totally quiet, you don't have to worry if you want to take a rest. From the hotel it only takes 5 mins to walk to Thapae...

First, the location is very good, quite near the night market but the hotel is on the quiet place. Second, the staff is so kind, which is the most valuable point and this makes me feel like to recommend this hotel to everyone. This place is amazing !

Location was perfect. Night bazaar just outside the hotel. Another market just across the street with food and live music which was amazing. Nearby other bazaars as well. Mcdonalds, Starbucks and Hard Rock Cafe just down the road. The room was spacious. A bit dark but still ok. Bed was comfy, just needed better pillows. TV had some english channels. Bathroom was an o...

We stayed here for 5 nights, the location is great, the staff really, everything was clean, the swimming pool was good. But in all our stay there, there were two boys alone annoying in the swimming pool, jumping, running without control and spit juice in the pool. The breakfast is perfect!! :). I think that perhaps another toster should be a good idea!!

The room was kept clean every day. My room had a window facing another building, but I did not case since I only came to sleep at night. The mattress was very hard. Most places I slept in Thailand had hard mattresses. I conclude they don't have good mattresses in the country. Other than that I was very content with this hotel. It was worth more than what I paid.

It's a real bargain to stay here and I would say for the room charge, you're getting a real bargain. Nice staff with a couple of them speaking pretty good English. One staff member even gave my friend a ride to the airport (small reasonable fee) which took some pressure off of me driving during the peak hour. Such nice and friendly people and a couple minute walk to th...

The Khum Jau Luang Boutique Hotel is one of the newest in Chiang Mai. It's beautiful inside and out, with friendly staff, a great atmosphere and a fantastic location.
