Stayed 4 nights in March 2015
friendly,luxury stay experience”
breakfast, ambience,friendly staff
Do have the best hotel stay experience with La Villa Mona Angkor. They had provided us a free pick up from the bus station although we reach by midnight. and the staff was so friendly and fulfilling all of our request. Especially recommend for their tuk-tuk driver, Mr. Nhum. He is a responsive young guy. Highly recommend for those that wish to have a honey moon, retirement stay, or holiday stay. The environment surrounded by the tree with quit ambience.

proximity to neighboring hotel pool, available tuk tuk drivers
we enjoyed our stay here. We only ate here once for breakfast, it was pretty blah so we wandered around the little adjacent village for our other meals. The saving grace of the villa Mona is the neighboring hotels pool which was free to use and easy as cake to get to. The hotel otherwise was fair, it was the only hotel in Cambodia we stayed at so its hard to compare. They must have rusty pipes because the water smelled strongly of it, but he ac worked, we got fresh towels and our room cleaned everyday, and the staff was as friendly and helpful as they could be given the language barrier. Also a glorious tuk tuk ride away from Angkor temples!!

Very quiet hotel with a relaxed atmosphere”
Smaller hotel, with a very private feel. Staff were extremely friendly and polite. Rooms and facilities were great.
Made to feel very welcome, perfect location if you are planning on visiting temples as it's a little further out of town than many hotels. Quiet area, but you could find closer if you plan on spending a lot of time in Siem reap city eg. Markets, nightlife, pub street

great for exploring the ruins”
cleanliness, great location to explore Angkor and friendliness of the staff
It's great value for money and excellent location to explore the ruins. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good it's a small hotel so no amenities such as pool or massages, but if you go to Siem Reap mainly to explore the ruins, this is the perfect location! The staff speak "hotel English" they can help you with things like getting a tuk tuk, a tour or a bike, but don't expect in depth information. 5 mines on a tuk tuk to the city center which assured to have quiet surroundings. I would refinery go back

Friendly, nice and quit hotel”
nice garden, good rooms, very near the temples
villa Mona is a very nice hotel if you want to have an affordable hotel very near the temples. The hotel is situated next to hotel pavillion Indochine, which is a lot more expensive, however you are allowed to use their swimmingpool, massage and restaurant facilities. Villa Mona has a restaurant aswell, but it will take a while before you get your food and drinks because they are made in their restaurant a few kilometres away from the hotel. However, the food is good! The rooms are very nice, especially the rooms upstairs with the nice balcony. If you do not want to stay in busy Siem Reap with his bustling nightlife and want to be near the temples and enjoy a good swimmingpool after hours a temple hopping, this is a good place to stay and very affordable

Angkor Wat, quiet.”
Pancakes for breakfast, very friendly staff, close to Angkor Wat.
Perfect for an out of city centre stay, quiet location with nice gardens, close to Angkor Wat, pick up/drop off to airport and bus station.

A very serviceable hotel. ”
The garden setting,
La Villa Mona is a small, pleasant hotel. I stayed in a bungalow with a veranda, set in the gardens, which was quite charming. The staff were fabulous. They could not do enough for us. A wedding, which was held twenty meters up the road, severely disturbed the peace of the place and ruined our sleep for two nights, but did provide us with a fascinating experience of Cambodian life. Despite being outside the centre of the city, the area is not really "quiet".

Great room, service and location”
Room, service and location were perfect (if you like tranquility)
We stayed in one of the two bungalows, and were the only guests most of the days. It had a good size room and bathroom, which were being kept clean on a daily basis and thoroughly. The garden and breakfast area are very nice. The location of the hotel was perfect for us: right in between the city centre and the temple area (3 km either way). We just rented a bicycle ($1 per day) to explore the area's. There's only one guy running the day to day operations of the hotel, but he did a great job and was very attentive. Only downside might be that his English is poor, so required some creativity in communication.
