Good location ”
Hotel is next to tobu Nikko station. Room is clean. Bathroom is shared by 2 units. Fridge, kettle and microwave are provided (next to bathroom). Good security as you need PIN to enter the building and 2 door lock before entering the room. Will return if I visit Nikko again.

Exceptional”
Located very close to the train station. I got a lot for my money at this hotel- queen size bed, gas oven fridge and freezer, table and chairs, TV and bathroom as well as air con and electric blankets. One of the best value for money hotels I have stayed at.

Nice hostel, 3min walk to Nikko JR Station”
I booked a single bed in a 8-bed dorm room. The bed was a bunk bed, with a fair enough good mattress. It has an electric heated mattress. The bed comes with its own sockets, privacy curtains, and does not have any own light. For this dorm (and the rest of the floor), there are 1 shower, 2 toilets and 1 separate sink. The shower is clean, with a medium power shower and hot water. There are body wash and shampoo disposals. The dorm has a small locker. It comes with a lovely kitchen, where you can cook/heat up your food. It has a comfy communal area with sofas. The wifi was very good. Tiny towel is provided. It does not come with breakfast. The hostel is located to close to few spots to eat out and mini markets. 10sec walk to the stops of all the buses going around Nikko sightseeing spots 20sec walk to Nikko Tobu Station. 3min walk to Nikko JR Station. With regards to the staff, I was welcomed by Sei, who runs the place and speaks a good english if needed. I would definitely recommand this place for a short or long stay. The bed does not have any own light. For this dorm (and the rest of the floor), there are 1 shower, 2 toilets and 1 separate sink. It was not an issue for me, but you can face some waiting during peak hours.

Friendly, convenient, wacky decor”
I found this hostel on Agoda less than an hour before checking in and was very happy! It's a very cosy place, the staff are friendly too. It's small so there's not much chance to interact with other guests. Note it's close to both stations but quite far from Nikkō's sites.

Best lodge in Nikko”
The owner allowed us to check-in earlier. Room is big enough for the 4 of us and it's close to Tobu-Nikko Station and few minutes walk to JR Nikko Station. It's also close to supermarket and bus station. I love everything about this lodge :)

Convenient and comfortable”
This place is very near to the station and each of the bed has its own curtain, so you can still have the privacy you need. The place is equipped with kitchen, your own locker and it’s just nice for a solo traveller. The staff is also friendly and helpful. However, being a Muslim, I just hope it can provide a small space for Muslim travellers to pray.

Value for money & Location”
We stayed in hotel for two days. Almost all the location to be visited in Nikko connected via bus and trains from Tobu Nikko station. And this hotel is just infront of both. This saved our group a lot of time. The hotel was clean and staff was really friendly. Our hotel rooms were far apart but next day when there was availability for rooms in closer vicinity. The hotel owner himself offered us to switch the rooms. View was also quite good from the balcony. Recommended for a affordable stay. On our last day, our check out was at 10 am but our train was at 4 pm. So hotel had access to storage room where we kept our luggage. This helped us to roam around Nikko luggage free.

Great Location!”
Enjoyed staying at the Nikko Park Lodge. It’s located across from Tobu Nikko Station and had 4 free parking spots so you have multiple methods to get to the hotel. The room was spacious. The electric heat pads for the futons were fantastic! I will keep this hotel on my list for future stays.

Location, very near Tubo-Nikko station ”
Less then 5 mins walk from Tubo-Nikko station, clean and comfortable rooms. A lot of Restaurants close around 5-6pm! Lion D’or, a supermarket, 3 mins walk from hotel, was our saving grace! Plenty of cooked food, and cheap sashimi! There is an eating area, with microwave oven n hot water. This was our regular Favourite stop every night before heading back to hotel. Try to avoid visiting this area during the Golden Week, 1/5-6/5..which was our mistake! Didn’t know until we were here. There’s only a ONE WAY STREET to the World heritage shrines area..and almost every visitor was in Nikko to visit the shrines during the Golden week. The only road was jammed every morning from 8am onwards till early evening! The jams every morning changed our entire itinerary.. didn’t visit a lot of the places up north of Tubo Nikko station area consequently.. The Kirifuri area was gd, no jams fortunately

We were in a private room with its own bathroom. It's an old building clearly vetuste, but the room was very comfortable nonetheless. So if you can overlook the very dated appearance, it's really nice. It's a bit noisy (not well isolated) but at night the area is calm (midmay at least), so no problem. The room isn't heated. For may it was alright, but in the winter, I don't know... It's close to both stations and 20 min away from Nikko Park by foot. So it's convenient. All in all, from our experience, I would recommend it, as it's not too expensive compared to others in the area.

I enjoyed my stay but unfortunately left my passport behind...the communication with the staff was so easy and they quickly mailed my passport to my next accommodation in Yamagata and I received it today... I want to say that they were super helpful in this issue and I recommend this guesthouse!

Great location, good value for money”
We stayed here for one night and the location directly across the street from the main train station in Nikko could not be beat. It was also just 3 short blocks from a large grocery store with lots of prepared food so it was easy to eat on the cheap. We stayed in a double bed, which had a curtain for privacy and a heated blanket so it was nice and cozy, since the room itself was about as cold as it was outside and we had to wear our heavy jackets at all times otherwise! Some weird things: There was a cabinet with plates and a posted requirement to wash plates you use, but there was nowhere to wash them aside from with your hands (i.e. no sponge or dish rag) using hand soap in the bathroom. And then using paper towels to dry them so you could put them back. Also in the bathroom, there were two sinks. The left one was fine, but the right was missing a piece of pipe for the drainage and there was no sign at all, so if you turned that sink on, water would just spill to the floor.
