Clean and Near Shinkyo Bridge and Temple
there is bus stop in front of hotel. It is very convenient to go to hotel. From hotel, the Shinkyo Bridge and many temples are in the walking distance. The room is very clean. However, bath tub is quite old but it is very clean. Hotel staffs are very nice. Breakfast time is finish early than usual so please carefully check the time with hotel.

Very nice, comfortable hotel in great location.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff and our Japanese-style room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was not overly fancy but for the price it was excellent and I recommend it unhesitatingly. The breakfast was nice and the onsen in the basement was very soothing after a day of walking around temples and and up and down flights of stone steps! There are quite a few restaurant options for dinner in the neighbouring buildings up on either side of the main road.

Great hotel! The location was extremely convenient for us - nikko national park being only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The staff were so welcoming and kind! The public onsen was a bonus - it was clean and relaxing. Would highly recommend

Great location, great stay
location, facilities, staff
We were met by very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. They provided us with a dining map of the area with some free service coupons for local restaurants on the back. The location was great, with main tourists spots within walking distance. The only thing we felt could be slightly improved was the variety of food provided at the breakfast buffet.

Great location and thoughtful staff
Cleanliness, great bathing facilities, and very convenient location!
We had a great time at the hotel. The location was very close to the temples and right in front of the bus stop. I am currently five months pregnant, so the futon was not very comfortable for me, but that's my own fault. The baths were very nice and clean and the ladies' bath had a really nice selection of shampoo. Breakfast was OK, nothing fancy, but adequate. The staff was very thoughtful and provided umbrellas for the rain. Everyone was very friendly. They weren't particularly helpful with finding food options, but they do have a map of restaurants. Places close very early in Nikko and the staff didn't help us get reservations, but that could've been a language barrier problem. The room was very nicely appointed, nice Japanese toilet and very nice tatami. We stayed three nights and they comped us holding onto our luggage during our last day and even gave us an umbrella because it was raining.
