We spent a wonderful week at Nima Inn. Anees and Imran looked after us and made us feel completely at home to the point that we felt part of the "Nima Inn family". We loved the excursions we did with them (fishing trip & snorkeling trip) and they helped us organise a speedboat back to the airport as well as a boat to Maafushi (which we were happy to see just for one day as it wasn't as relaxing as Gulhi). Anees is a very knowledgeable yet humble person, his passion for the ocean is so contagious and we learned so much from him! We just wanted to relax, snorkel and eat fish and we found the perfect place. Thank you for the wonderful memories :)
I'll Definitely Comeback!! ❤️”
Gulhi is a very small island. It only takes 10 mins to walk around the whole island. If you're looking to relax, this is the island for you. Two nights stay is enough there. Nima Inn is a simple guesthouse so don't expect luxury. The owner, Anees, is also a very simple man with simple needs. He is so down to earth. We had an amazing conversation with him and he taught my friend how to dive. Breakfast was also nice in Nima Inn. You had two choices: continental and the Maldivian breakfast. I loved the Maldivian breakfast. It's a must try. Nima Inn just by the beach so you can catch the morning sunrise. Alot of people go to Maafushi and skip Gulhi but the beach in Gulhi is alot nicer than the beach in Maafushi.
Basic place with poor organisation”
Hard to say overpriced as its the Maldives but the room was very basic for that price and the organisation here was terrible. We weren't expected and the owner was far too busy with his diving customers most of the time. Might be better if he sets it up as a diving guesthouse so his dive customers stay there too. It's right next to the beach so beautiful views from the place. Food options are limited on this island but it's also much quieter and more peaceful. Ended up missing the ferry back to the airport on our last day as the owner seemed to be the only one on the island who didn't know the main ferry had broken down, but there's a regular speedboat service along with the ferry service. More expensive but no where near the $150 guest houses quote for the private option.
The hotel has a great location, a few metres from the bikini beach. The best was the staff, the two guys working there were great!!!!!!!! The breakfast is very good and the room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!!!!
Breakfast was a treat. forgot that breakfast was included and when I realised I was not expecting much. As it turns out my man there takes a table out onto the sand next to the beach with some tree shade and continues to fill it with all the tastiest foods, juices and tea and and... Perfection. This fella does not work for tips which in my mind means he deserves them. Great place.
