Situated at the end of the island, you can drink in some seaside views from one of five kinds of cottages housing from two to four people. This comfortable 3.5-star facility with its exquisite, octagonal bungalows sits beachside and lets you listen to lapping waves as you fall asleep. Each bungalow comes complete with a refrigerator, hair dryer, satellite TVs, and a bathtub and shower. The hotel is also renowned for its al fresco dining experience with all the most famous Thai dishes coming with a side order of palm trees, sand, and sea. Other activities on offer include snorkeling and fishing. Please enter your preferred dates of stay and submit our online booking form to make a reservation at Nimmanoradee Resort.

Nice atmosphere but the water on the beach full with rocks”
+ : The hotel is pretty clean and quiet well maintained. Has Private small beach so not too many people around. Many shades from the trees make it even better. The food is okay but not special. Friendly staffs. And i had an awesome 90 minutes body massage. - : The water on the beach full with rocks and corals. Good for snorkeling but not for swimming. Can’t even walk on the water. Not suitable for little kids that like to playing on the water on the beach. - Should put some sign for the name of the food on Breakfast buffet table as not all people can eat some specific food.
Seclude place to stay”
If you want to spend your private time, this resort is quite seclude. Though, there are a few tourists visit but they do not stay here for long. The beach is as where it is located "Coral Bay" no sandy beach to stroll. But you can enjoy the snorkeling to see corals and fishes around the bay. Make sure you wear diving shoes. I like the hammocks under the trees, it is sanctuary. Though, I do not like the bed and mattress. I have to give extra points for the staffs' service mind. They all are friendly, kind and helpful. Foods here are slow. You'd better manage your time to order before the dinner time. There are some water sports equipments for renta/selll, and they are in good condition; kayak, life jacket, snorkel masks, beach balls. If you like to party, this is not your place as it is far from other party beaches and riding the motorbike at night is very dark.
Fantastic gettaway on Koh Samet”
If you like party and crowds this is not the place you like to be. But if you want to spend some relaxing peaceful days at the beach this is one of the best choices on Koh Samet. Food is great: plenty of choices on the menu and all taste very good. The resort is the only one at the small beach. There's quite ok snorkeling in the bay and staff is very friendly and helpful. very good Thai massage is available at reasonable price.
Ok but completely overpriced”
In fact nothing wrong with it and nice secluded location. But quite outdated and not the experience you would expect at this price tag. 60-70 eur per night would be more reasonable than the 135 euro we had to pay...
Pleasant stay for relaxing”
We were quite surprised on arrival, because the hotel was located in the other end of the island - keep that in mind, it means theres quite a distance to the nearest activity. We recommend you rent a scooter for your stay here. + The atmosphere is quite charming, if you want to just relax + private beach with hammocks on the trees and the trees provide a nice shade from the burning sun + Fantastic view (for pictures) right at the hotel - The cleaning in the bungalows could be done better - No internet in the rooms/bungalows (depends if you need it, cause the hotels wifi signal is strong if you just go out to the public areas)
Great place to relax ”
We wanted to get way to a more private resort and away from the noise and crowded beaches. This place is laid back and very pleasing to the eye with its layout of trees, pretty flowers etc. The beach is small but ample and suits this place with its nice views and warm ocean. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The food in the only restaurant for lunch and dinner was good and the breakfast was OK. We really enjoyed our stay in a Deluxe cottage with views over the gardens and ocean
Peaceful escape at quiet end of Samet”
Excellent location right at the far end of Samet, so very quiet. A easy short walk either by the road or round the shore to the headlands at the end of the island. The resort has what amounts to a private beach, at low tide it is too shallow to swim unless you go some way from the shore. Rooms are good enough but not too well equipped, nowhere to put clothes for example.
Beautiful hideaway on Koh Samet”
The best feature of this hotel is also (potentially at least) its biggest drawback. The resort is situated on the very southern tip of Koh Samet island and is about 40 minutes drive from the main resort town of Ha Sai Kaew. It's very beautiful and has arguably the best beach on the island. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, then I don't think you could find better. However, if you're looking for nightlife and restaurants, then you have to travel. Both myself and my wife enjoyed our stay, and would certainly go back if we were looking to unwind for a few days, but I don't think we'd stay again as long as we did. Given that the place is so isolated, I think the hotel could do a bit more with the restaurant. The food is ok, and some of the dishes ae very good, but it's not one of the stand out features and has attracted some very negative comments from some of the other reviewers. One last point is the price of taxi's on the island, the fare from the Nimanoradee to Ha Sai Kaew is 600THB, which is expensive for Thailand. So although I'd recommend the hotel, make sure you know what you're getting before you book to avoid being disappointed.
Friendly staffs & great hideaway from city ”
We booked our speedboat at 12noon (confirmed by hotel but end up wait until 2pm). Recommended to take white shark speed boat (join speed boat cost 400 BTH per person), it takes about 30 min to reach Nimmanoradee Resort. We enjoyed ourself very much & food is great especially Thai food, we loved their steam crab (0.5kg at 300 BTH). Pros 1)great location with clear sea water 2)quiet & peaceful 3)delicious local Thai food 4)staffs are friendly 5)Hammocks under trees 6)Not crowded 7)Beach very near to rooms Cons 1)A bottle of water cost me 50 BTH 2)Food is abit expensive 3)Not many entertainment (not recommended if your looking excitement) 4)Bar closed at 11pm & restaurant closed at 9:30pm 5)Limited choices of breakfast (almost same every morning) 6)Many rocks along the beach (kinda painful when going down to beach) Overall, resort is great & we still can find a better resort with the amount $$ we paid. Visit again? (Definitely will but different resort in Koh Samed)
Private location and nice for snorkeling driving ”
Very beautiful island, the hotel is private area and have many activities such as KAYAK, SNORKELING. Clearly to see the coral and many kind of fishes from the beach. Restaurant and room are OK. But the beach not long and ABF too less.
Great place for beach vacation”
this resort is such a wonderful place for private and peace. just sitting and listenning to the wave hitting the rock with some great drinks. the service is also very nice with warm welcome. the room is clean. the most comfortable thing is that this place is only 3 hours away from bangkok. don't miss!!!
5 mins from the airport”
it took a while for the shuttle to pick up the guests since it had to wait for a few flights so it's easier to get a taxi for 60 baht until there. the check in process was very quick which was great for us since it was late and we were tired. very nice and big bed. very comfortable. romantic balcony.
stunning view, quiet and natural environment”
Nice and friendly staff, worth tipping but they seems not used to receive that^^ Stunning view, and nice point for snorkelling. You can see sun-rise in the morning. You can see sun-set in the afternoon. Or even go to the Viewpoint (the southern tip of the island) on foot within 10mins. Only one restaurant in resort, and closes by 930pm. But the thai food is delicious and reasonable priced. They refill 2 bottles of water daily.
I love here so much, Amazing place”
I stay in Nimmanoradee for only one night, however, i want to live there for ever. i love this place so much. In the morning i wake up early ,go for a walk along the beach and climb the rock nearby. Feeling so well.
Great rooms and hotel but not so great beach”
Definitely a great hotel if you want nothing but peace and quiet, there isn't much to do bar massage, dvds and kayaking, its far from Haad Sai Kaew, so do not expect to be wandering off for partying either. The beach could have been nicer, it is still private and the hotel is very natural, but the beach is not as swimming friendly, if you plan on not swimming, this would be perfect for you. The Thai food here is amazing and everyone is very nice, I had a great relaxing stay.
Nice and quiet”
this is the place to go if you want to relax, get a tan and read a book. Very nice room and good restaurant, especially if you like Thai food. I recommend you to take a speedboat as it is as far away from the mainland pier as you can get on Samet. Don't go here if you bring along kinds.. they will get bored as the beach is not that nice an can in no way be compared to other places at Samet. Few places with sand but a lot of colorful coral.. however the water was very unclear and big waves prevented me from snorkeling
Best coice for quiet zone & free breeze. ”
The most i love is everything they sell in this hotel was good price ! They didn’t charge you that much. So acceaptable i can enjoy food and drink more. Because this place is the last one on the south so nothing sell near by. The staff really nice and helpfull. I’ll be back for sure.
In Ban Phe take a ferry and buy a return ticket, then at Samet take a taxi to get to the hotel which is located right at the beach. If you want to get around rent a motorbike because there is not much to do apart for sun bathing, fooling in the sea or you can rent a kayak or do some snorkeling.
Best location in Koh samet”
Wonderful beach. Peace and quiet swimming, views, diving For some the isolation of the beach might be disadvantege, but this is an important part of its charm. The restaurant is ok, and few minor things can be improved (the stream in the shower, the snorkeling gear), but still - great place to relax and enjoy an island atmosphere
Our family group had a nice and relaxing 2 days at Nimmanoradee Resort. The staff were excellent and very attentive with the needs of our party. The food although slightly expensive for some items, was nice and tasty and there were options available for cheaper food if required. 4 members of our party had a massage whilst we stayed at the resort and all of us enjoyed the experience. I would recommend this resort to someone who wishes to escape for a quiet few days.
