Great short stay in the heart of Asakusa”
With a bird's eye view of Asakusa's Sensoji, staying in this capsule hotel felt like i was living in a glass tree-house of sort. Prime location with a short 5-10 mins walking distance between the two Asakusa subway stations, although travelers with JR Pass should note that neither of the two stations are covered under the JR Pass. Going to the airport was a breeze with a direct train ride for around 1,200 yen from Asakusa Subway Station. I was excited to see that this hotel had a gym. Much to my disappointment the "gym" only consisted of two treadmills and a bunch of cardboard boxes, making the space seem closer to a storeroom than a gym. There is also no water cooler in the hotel, with a 500ml mineral water for sale at 110 yen at the reception.

Clean, very affordable, close to few train lines”
Very close to Sensoji temple. Surrounded by lot of restaurants even at night. Cons: very small locker. I've been to few other nine hours hotel, by far this place has the smallest locker. It can only fit in a medium size luggage and it's all full. End up everyone just place the baggage at the common place. Still worth the stay nonetheless!

Other than the luaggage/locker area being too small, this place is totally worth it.

first time trying capsule hotel with my mum. We pick the female cell and your luggage can be stored in the common locker+shower area. That space may be a bit tight so try to avoid rush hour for shower and packing. Everyday you get a new bag of towel ,toothbrush, pyjamas(i know!),slipper from the reception when you get a new key card(a QR code to access everything) my mum has a problem of losing it though. shower area is pretty clean and aesthetically pleasing. Image this hotel is design by Muji with modern facility. You can get water in lounge area. Hotel is close to metro instead of JR Asakusa station. You can only charge one item with usb in your cell and its a bit stuffy in the sleeping area. But generally I think its perfect for solo traveller!

Too noisy --> caught only two hours of sleep”
Unfortunately I woke up every time, somebody used the toilet or went to bed/got up. Compared to other Nine Hours-locations, this one in Asakusa is very noisy. As I slept very less due to the noise, my following day was very hard.

Perfect”
Everything is perfect. Location, the staff the room. The only bad thing is that some people is every noisy (but it isnt problem of the hotel) and that some spaces are too small for the nombre of people, so the bathrooms were always a problem

Had a Good Night Sleep”
Everything is there for a capsule hotel. Great location. Good facility. Courteous staff. However, lobby access is not so friendly for children as reception is on the 9th floor and had to pass a balcony with low fences from the elevator to the lobby.

worth the price ”
I spent overnight because of a delayed flight. The experience from a capsule hotel is fun. Toilet and shower is good. Lockers are not so big but secure and you can leave your big luggage inside. Breakfast is just coffee and choice of bread(not an issue for a cheap price) Capsule pod is comfortable and spacious for a 182cm muscular guy like me. I would stay again next time but i make sure i bring back pack only. 😉

Modern style gets house in great location”
This place is clean and comfortable but they don’t have any mirror in the capsule you need to make up in the share bathroom But this guest house is nearest Sensoji temple you can walk around 2 minute to go there, The temple in the night is amazing.

A good place for a short stay in Asakusa ”
Good accessibility from Narita & Haneda Airport as there is a direct train to Asakusa station . However , the direction given on the hotel website was rather confusing for first time travellers. I have to ask many people for directions & it took me almost an hour to find it as it’s newly opened on Asakusa. My suggestion would be for NineHours Asakusa to use Richmond Hotel Asakusa as a landmark as Richmond hotel is more well known & indicated on the tourist map & directional signboards . NineHours is actually located behind the two Richmond Hotels. Once you can find your way to Richmond hotel , NineHours is only a minute away .

You have to check in and check out everyday but it didn't be mention on the website(even you stay for more than two days) The hotel is very clean and new,but it is quite annoying to me to check out at the 10 am everyday.......... If you wake up early everyday maybe you will like here

DO NOT RECOMMEND”
We knew going in that we shouldn’t expect much from a capsule hotel & figured it would be uncomfortable in some ways but what we experienced was way worse than we could have imagined. The locker room is incredibly small - there is literally no counter space to use. No space on the floor either. The only counter space is the small area where everyone puts their luggage so you have to play Tetris to move people’s suitcases in the hopes that you might find a sliver of space to lay your luggage flat to open. There is no ventilation so when people shower the entire locker room area becomes a sauna. There are 12 sinks & 12 showers but only 2 toilets - weird. The actual locker is so tiny. I had to take some of my things to my capsule bed. Locker room was complete chaos in the morning before 10am check out. Forget about getting any sleep at all. You hear EVERYTHING. There is also no air so your capsule is a sauna. Lack of sleep totally ruined our next day of travel and vacation.

Staffs are very friendly, but since it’s in Tokyo, the space is not wide. If it’s just for few nights, it’s a very budgeted place.

Great value and location, unfortunately didn’t sleep very well any of our nights there because of others in the room being loud, alarms etc.. but the place was spotless and the shower facilities were excellent, enjoyed exploring Asakusa area. Subway is nearby.

This hotel is not super convenient, it's quite far from the train station especially if you have a huge luggage. I stayed here for only one night (just for the experience) and left my luggage at the baggage storage at Tokyo Station so it wasn't too bad. The shower facilities were clean and sufficient and I liked the lockers they provided. I was happy with my stay as it was the quintessential capsule hotel experience I was looking for. There's a luggage area near the lockers for anyone with large suitcases but the space is tight so don't expect to have much space to do your packing during peak hours. The lockers are right by the showers which is pretty convenient, but try to shower when no one is around as getting your things can take a bit of maneuvering if a lot of people are around. Take note that even if you stay for more than one night, you have to check out everyday before a certain timing so they can clean the place.

Great location, clean and great for tight budgets traveler. ”
The hotel is new and clean. No facilities. Very small common spaces. Great location. Many restaurants and shops around. 10 minutes walk to Asasuka temple. Not recommended for light sleeper. You can hear people walking outside your capsule. However, it’s good value for solo traveler.
