I stayed at 9h Nine Hours and honestly, it’s one of the best options for a solo traveler. The whole concept is simple, modern, and efficient—you really get everything you need without the unnecessary extras. The capsule itself is surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with good lighting controls and ventilation that make it easy to rest. What I liked most is how convenient and thoughtfully designed the hotel is. The lockers and shower areas are spotless and well-organized, so you can store your belongings securely and freshen up without any hassle. The minimalist vibe makes the whole experience feel calm and private, even though you’re technically sharing the space with others. As a solo traveler, it’s perfect because you don’t feel out of place—it’s designed with individuals in mind. You get privacy, quiet, and comfort, while still being right in the heart of the city. It’s also budget-friendly compared to a regular hotel, but you don’t sacrifice cleanliness or quality. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re traveling alone and want a convenient, clean, and unique place to stay.

This is a very good option if you're in the Nagoya area and you're on a budget. The price was okay for me. I booked two days before my trip, so it was more expensive than I would've liked for each night (between ***and ***yen per night), but for last minute it's not bad. If you plan it out further it would probably be much cheaper. I didn't really have a big issue with anything, but there were two things that I would consider inconvenient. The area where you sleep and the area where the lockers are are on different floors, so if you forgot something in your locker or in your capsule, you had to go down or up the elevator to go get it. The only other thing is that they don't hold luggage after check out anymore. Apparently, they used to but don't anymore due to space. It's not a deal breaker for me, but check out was at 11 am and my bus back to Tokyo was at 4:30, which is a long time to be lugging around a giant heavy backpack and tiny souvenirs bags around. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay. The staff is nice, they clean the capsules daily, and it was close to Nagoya station.
Thank you for staying at Nine Hours Nagoya Station. We appreciate your valuable feedback. We will strive to improve so that you will be satisfied the next time you stay. We look forward to your next visit. Nine Hours Nagoya Station
Facilities: Showers and lockers are on the 3rd floor. There is a separate dry area in the shower for you to leave your towel, clothes, etc and for you to change. There is a lounge area on the highest floor where you can eat. Sleep pods: They are very clean. I stayed for a night in the end of May 2025. Temperature in the sleep pods was not adjustable but luckily, the temperature was alright. The pillow and bed were comfortable and I had a good sleep. Ear plugs are provided on the ground floor where you check in but the ear plugs are not of high quality. For those who are light sleepers and sensitive to noise, i suggest you bring your ear plugs. Luggage: you can store your luggage prior to check in but you can’t store them there after you check out. Overall: it was my first time staying in capsule hotel. I’m a light sleeper and I did get a good sleep with my ear plugs. I paid about RM150 for a night. The prices for some nights are more than RM300! I would stay again for RM150 but would not stay for RM300! You can get a decent private room for RM300.

I was just sharing my experience at Nine Hours Hotel with my friend today. Overall, it was a great stay — the location is excellent, the hotel is very clean, and I slept very well during my time there. One thing worth highlighting is that if you book two consecutive days, you are still required to check out at the standard check-out time and then check in again. It’s good to be aware of this in advance. Another point is the ladies’ bathroom. There is usually a long queue in the morning, and you need to stand and wait for your turn. I understand this is quite common in capsule hotels, but it would be great if the bathroom area could be expanded to improve the experience. Despite these points, I really enjoyed my stay and would still recommend the hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location.
Thank you very much for choosing Nine Hours Nagoya Station. We are delighted to hear that you were satisfied with your stay, and all our staff truly appreciate your kind words. We will continue striving to ensure the same level of satisfaction on your next visit as well. We look forward to welcoming you again. Nine Hours Nagoya Station

“Capsule hotel near Nagoya Station”
I stayed for 5 nights at Nine Hours Nagoya Station in January. It's about 2 km away from Sakae, and it's located just across three crosswalks from Nagoya Station. Being close to Nagoya Station is very useful for travel purposes, especially for check-in and check-out. As for the facilities, there are locker rooms and showers on the second floor for men. My suitcase is a 29-inch carry-on, and it fit perfectly in the locker. I don't think there should be any concerns regarding the suitcase size. Additionally, if you stay for multiple nights, you can leave your luggage in the locker room, which is very useful for long stays like mine. The male dormitory rooms are located from the 7th to the 9th floors. Although the soundproofing isn't great, the price is 34,000 won per night (during peak season, including tax and service charge), while a business hotel costs about 50,000 won per night. Therefore, I think it’s acceptable if you’re looking for a budget option. In my opinion, 2 to 3 nights is fine, but staying for 5 consecutive nights in a capsule hotel was a bit challenging for me. I recommend that other users carefully consider their physical, mental, and personal needs when selecting their stay duration. Since this is a shared accommodation, I didn't really notice any issues with the shower facilities or other areas, but I did have an unpleasant experience with the restrooms, as some people didn’t use them properly after cleaning, though this isn’t the hotel's fault; it’s a problem that comes from a diverse group of foreign and domestic tourists sharing the space. There's a lounge on the 10th floor, but accessing the balcony window can be quite difficult. Additionally, this window doesn’t close automatically, so you need to make sure to close it before going out. The view from the lounge is quite nice. I didn't use the external breakfast service, so I'm not sure about it, but they say that if you apply, you can get banana pound cake (I don't remember clearly) and coffee. The desk managers are incredibly friendly. In my case, another foreigner was using my room for two consecutive days (they mistakenly went to my room), and when I asked the desk manager about it, they assigned me to a different room. The desk managers can communicate in English to some extent. (You can simply go up and say, “Ano sumimasen, watashi mondai ga arimasu,” and then use a translator to show them.) If you're Korean, they will provide you with a user manual in Korean. Additionally, at check-in you are given 'amenities' that include slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush, workout clothes, a body towel, and two towels. Among these, the slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste are not replaced during a multiple-night stay, so be sure not to throw them away. (In my case, when I asked for replacements because someone from another room took mine, they provided them.) The workout clothes, body towel, and towels are replaced when you stay for multiple nights. You must check out of your room before 10 AM every day (no sleeping in allowed) and you can use the facilities starting from 2 PM after checking out. (I don't clearly remember the check-in time.) As mentioned above, you can leave your luggage in the locker, so there’s no need to worry about dragging your suitcase around while traveling. Locking the locker is done using a QR card provided at check-in. You will use this to access the locker and the elevator, but be careful not to leave the QR card inside the locker when you close it; otherwise, it won’t open. (You can call the staff if that happens, but this problem usually occurs during shower times, so be cautious.) To summarize: 1. Excellent accessibility from Nagoya Station 2. Good facilities for the price 3. Friendly desk managers 4. Considerations for long-term stays 5. Possible issues with shared facilities used by many people 6. Must vacate the room by 10 AM daily (no sleeping in) 7. Noise issues due to poor soundproofing (I recommend bringing earplugs or noise-canceling earbuds if you are sensitive.) I found it a bit inconvenient for long stays, and the soundproofing between rooms is poor, resulting in potentially dirty restrooms due to shared use; however, these issues can be resolved with money. Since the accommodation is inexpensive, all these issues are mitigated. If you wish to avoid these problems, you can pay about 20,000 won more to use a single room at a business hotel. Accommodation costs are significantly cheaper than in South Korea, which is a relief. Also, because it's a capsule hotel used by many, it was nice to experience some level of camaraderie among a diverse group of people. As
