6.5 km away is city center ??”
I was really miffed that this hotel list itself as city center, and location location! It is a 6.5 km taxi ride to the city center and bus station. I booked "city center" to be able to catch a early morning bus. They are perpetrating seriously false advertising. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay and the staff were very cordial. It was surprising that a hotel catering to the international clients would have a waitress who speaks literally no English. She was sweet and eager to please but the language barrier was A big one. How about Basic English classes for Hotel employees who want it ? How much could that cost in terms of the benefit of being able to communicate with international clients? This is a 100+ room hotel!

None of the hotel staffs speak English”
The reason we chose this hotel was because we wanted to stay in a hotel which was not too far from the airport as our return flight timing was at 11am. It took 30 mins for a speeding tut-tut to reach airport. Besides the distance to the airport that we were happy with, our overall stay experience was quite frustrated as none of the hotel staffs we met speaks basic English. Not even simple request like pillow and blanket. Communicating with hotel staffs was pointless that we have to seek for advise from other hotel guests to give recommendation for food, places to go etc. I must give a thumbs up to our tut-tut driver as he speaks wayyyyyyy better English than the hotel staffs. It was quite amazing that not even one staff speaks basic English from the hotel. Hotel management should really look into this otherwise I would say this is not a tourist friendly hotel and I will definitely not come back.

Stay was very comfortable. Good reception. However front office staff could not answer in English very basic questions (when does the ferry leave to Koh Samui? - A question that probably EVERY foreign tourist will ask.) Upon checking out I was sent to the wrong bus terminal, even though I speak quite a bit of Thai and showed them the reservation. Overall a good stay though. Just don't expect any frills.

Sleepy town hotel, but great helpful staffs”
It was great! The staffs are friendly and helpful. However, not a lot of them can speak in English. Hard to communicate with them. We asked them to bring us out for seafood dinner. They brought us to us nice local seafood place and cheap. People here are nice, not a tourist place so not much a scam. Very relax and laid back.

1.ทางเราได้มีการจองโรงแรม 2 คืน ผ่านทางอโกด้า และจ่ายชำระเรียบร้อย ล่วงหน้าประมาณ 2 อาทิตย์ ตอนเช็คอิน พนักงานแจ้งว่าไม่มีชื่อการจองห้อง ให้เราส่งอีเมลล์การจองไปที่เมลล์ของโรงแรม เราก็รอกันนานกว่าจะได้ห้อง ส่วนคืนที่ 2 ก็ยังมีการโทรมาถามอีกว่าจะพักต่อหรือว่าเช็คเอ้าท์ พร้อมทั้งสอบถามว่าจะจ่ายชำระเงินค่าที่พักยังไง คือทางเราอยากสอบถามว่าความผิดพลาดที่เกิดขึ้น มันเป็นความผิดของทางโรงแรมและอโกด้า ต้องทำการประสานงานกันหรือเปล่า แล้วก่อนเข้าพักก็มีการส่งหลักฐานการจองพร้อมการจ่ายชำระให้แล้ว ก็ยังมีการโทรมาถามว่าจะพักต่อหรือไม่ คือทางโรงแรมควรจะมีระบบการจัดการภายในที่ดีกว่านี้นะ ทำให้เราไม่ประทับใจการให้บริการของพนักงานโรงแรม และ การจองโรงแรมผ่านอโกด้าเลย 2.การสั่งอาหารของทางโรงแรม คือเราโทรไปสั่งอาหารตั้งแต่ 7.00 น. (ซึ่งเป็นเวลาที่ทางพนักงานแจ้งว่าห้องอาหารเปิด) เนื่องจากเรามีอบรมตอน 8.30 น. รออาหารนานมาก กว่าอาหารจะมาประมาณ 8.15 น.โทรตามหลายรอบทางพนักงานห้องอาหารแจ้งว่าอาหารเสร็จแล้วแต่มีพนักงานเสริ์ฟแค่ 2 คน คือ ควรจะมีการวางระบบการให้บริการใหม่นะ คะและควรเพิ่มจำนวนพนักงานด้วยคะ
