Exceptional”
We loved staying at Nipa hut. We would have stayed longer if we could. The place has just had a remodel and it looks great. The bamboo cabins/ huts are simple with just a double mattress, sheets, towels, a fan and lights..and a little terrace with a bench out the front. The bathrooms are all newly done- spacious, good showers. Large communal restaurant area. Both our dinner and breakfast we delicious. Right next to the river which you can swim in. They offer motor bike rental as well as kayak and standup boards - price seemed a little high for the boards but all the places are the same! They also offer night tour to see the fireflies which looked interesting. We thought it was a great little getaway for the price!

We really recommend this place!! It much better than it looks on the photos! It's quiet and peaceful, just next to the river. You can rent a motorbike and drive around, a lot of nice places to visit!! The stuff is really helpful!! You will enjoy it!!!

Very good”
Place is about 2 km from main highway up a rough road but staff will arrange any travel needs and motorbikes are available to rent. The owner is upgrading the facilities and the bathrooms are clean and well equipped. My girl got sick and the owner arranged a free ambulance to take her to hospital. All in all a very good place to relax by the river.

Beautiful and nice stay”
What I missed was comfortable seating like chairs 🪑 and couch 🛋 in common area. Otherwise it was very good, close to the beautiful 😍 river.

Not quiet at all!”
The first night: dogs barking, and then the roosters starting at 3:30am. This is to be expected in a rural area, but the reviewer that said this place is quiet is waay off. Second night: same plus a very loud party in two of the huts. So glad when they finally went to sleep, but they started again at 4:15am and didn't stop making noise until they left around 8! Both nights were the worst sleep I've had in a month of travel, changing places every couple of days. The mens comfort rooms smell terrible because the urinals don't have enough water pressure. to clear them. This is what you are smelling when you take a shower or brush your teeth. Good news: The staff is very good and helpful. The kitchen makes very good meals at a fair price. The location is excellent.

Published rates, a bit pricey for a fan nipa hut. Weak water supply in the bathrooms. ”
Free breakfast can still be improved.

You get what you pay for”
It’s a very cheap place to stay and you get what you pay for. If you’re on a budget and don’t mind roughing it, it’s ok. However, we were woken up at 3:30am to a rat running around our room! There isn’t much keeping critters out of the huts and the bathrooms were VERY basic and kind of scary to use. WiFi worked well and they do offer sup boards and firefly tours.

Worst value for money ever..!?”
I am not fussy - traveled to 60+ countries and stayed in some very basic places, have camped in jungle, hammock huts etc. This would possibly have been satisfactory value if a third of the price. Rat and insect infested, rotting huts with holes in walls and roof. Just going into the bathroom made me feel dirty! No furniture, shower broken, no toilet seat etc. Also got an electric shock from the bathroom light switch. Only redeeming factor the location by river, 25-30 min walk from main road.

Perfect spot if looking to stay in loboc”
If your a couple I recommend this spot. If looking to stay in loboc. Away from everything by a river this is the spot. Well manicured lawn and facilities. Nipa hut is nice inside comfortable bed.

Loved it”
We loved this hut! It's in the middle of the jungle, right by the Loboc River. When we got there we were blown away by how beautiful the surroundings were. So peaceful, and the staff are very friendly! They also hire scooters, paddle boards and kayaks. The hut was nice, comfy bed, mosquito net and a nice terrace with a hammoc. Only down side is the toilet, which is a squat type one. But we loved the place!

A bit of jungle experience!”
Nipa huts in on the same street as SUP tours near Loboc river. You can rent a motorbike to go to Chocolate hills and tarsiers by yourself. House conditions are a bit wild - you can hind spider in your room but it was worth the experience to wake up with wilderness sounds. No wifi, no restaurant, poor breakfast.

Beautiful jungle accommodation with friendly locals and good food ”
We loved spending a night in this hut. The location itself is worth the trip in the middle of the jungle next to the river. Super quiet at night you can even see fireflies around the hut or rent a kayak/sup for a proper tour. Really cheap and good simple restaurant. Highly recommended!!!

Nice although a little bit out of shape place”
We really liked our hut and hammocks in front of it, the bathroom was a little bit raw but it had all the necessary functions so we were good with it. There are big holes in the ceilling though, so everything can get in. My friends backpack was attacked by some animal and we woke up to this ,,thing" trying to climb our bed. All in all we were refunded for one night but a little bit upset about the whole situation. Besides this its a nice place uf you like being surrounded by nature. You can easily rent a scooter or go firefly watching.

Best place in the world to stay at.”
If you are looking for a quiet place to get back in touch with nature this is your place. Dont expect a technology based vacation. This place lets you get away from everything and just enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of being in a rain forest. Very basic and small rooms but perfect to sleep in. The wooden bench and hammock on the porch put a nice touch on things. The worker made a bamboo raft the day before we got there and not only encuraged us to use it to jump into the warm river that runs just in front of the hotel but also offered to take pictures for us while we were swimming about the area

beautiful location, but could use some love”
can't wish for a better location. right at the back of the dirt road and really quiet ( apart of the rooster). great river access good for swimming ( strong current) and other water sports. yet organization of the whole place lacks on the basics. when we arrived he was allready over booked and we couldn't move in our hut and enjoy a hammok swing after a long day traveling. ( got a free breakfast for the inconvenience). huts are really gloomy, they are allright to sleep in but thats about it. seen it better for less money price seems low yet to expensive for what it offers. has to improve and will be a great leasure spot
