great hotel close to so much”

Nippon Seinenkan Hotel is over the road from the Meiji Jingu Stadium, which means it's super easy to catch a Yakult Swallows game - so much fun! The hotel itself is very new and very convenient to the Tokyo Metro Ginza subway line, and the Omotesando, Shibuya and Shinjuku shopping areas are all within walking distance. Ginza shopping is only a short subway ride away. The hotel staff were very friendly - lots of English was spoken, which made things even easier for us. I've stayed in quite a few really lovely hotels in Tokyo and the Nippon Seinenkan Hotel compares favourably in lots of ways - value for money, quality of room, location and facilities. The room (queen) was small, but that's Tokyo - it didn't worry us even though we were there for 15 nights. There's even a Family Mart on-site for late night snacks. All in all, a wonderful stay in the best city!

Excellent stay for the price!”

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights during the first leg of our two week trip to Japan. Out of the 3 hotels we stayed at within the same price range over the course of the trip, Nippon Seinenkan Hotel was the best. The deluxe double room was pretty spacious for Tokyo standards and we had a great view of the baseball stadium. They were nice enough to put us on a high floor too so the view we woke up to every morning was really great. The room was very clean and so were the bathroom and toilet. The location was not the most central location if you are traveling a lot, but the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Nearest train station was 10-15 min walk away. Family Mart at the first floor was convenient. The drip coffee they provide in your room everyday was also very good!

Great Location Hotel”

Had a pleasant 10 nights stay here. Location of hotel is great. A mere 10-15 mins slow walk ( travelling with 2 toddlers on strollers) to Harajuku. Gaiemmae Metro station is a 5mins walk from the hotel( 2 station away from Shibuya). Family Mart right at the entrance of the hotel. Staffs were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned daily and bedroom slippers, toilet amenities etc; was replaced daily. Overall a very pleasant stay here! Thank you Nippon Seinenkan Hotel!

Good place to stay but location is not that great”

We stayed 3 nights at the Seinenkan hotel right before new year time. The place is not hard to find, and it's very close to the Tokyo stadium. The room is very clean, and the staff was super nice. The room is very very small but that's pretty standard for Tokyo accommodations. The biggest problem tho, is the location. It's not close to any train station. It's like 12-15 mins walk, and then you still have to take the train to go to the places that you want to go, which makes it inefficient as you can probably walk to those places already with similar amount of time spent. But then 20-30 mins walk is a bit of a stretch. There's also not much restaurants or shops near the hotel. There's a familymart on the 1st floor of the hotel but it opens at 9:00 and closes at 18:00, which was not very helpful tbh. There's a couple more with about 5 mins walk. In general, this is a good enough choice if you are going to spend your entire day somewhere else and come back just for sleeping.

Beautiful hotel”

The Nippon Seinenkan is a beautiful new hotel close to the Meiji basebal stadium and Olympic sports developments. Whilst there is not much in the direct vicinity, the hotel is easy walking distance to the Harajuku area as well as the Ginza and Oedo lines. Would recommend and happily stay again.

Great stay”

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the Ginza Line on the Tokyo Metro. Ideal for linking you to Shibuya, Ginza/Tokyo Station and Ueno. It's only a 20 minute walk to Harajuku, and a 30 minute walk to Shinjuku. The bedroom is the standard Japanese hotel room, small but with everything you need. The toilets are Toto Washlets with controls on the wall, and are separate to the bathroom. You get all the amenities you could need in the bathroom too; Shampoo/Conditioner, body wash, toothbrush/toothpaste, hair brush, and even a razor. The room was generally clean but there were a few things showing a little bit of a lack of care, and the bathroom appeared to have some 'splatter' on the wall with some questionable stains in the flooring too. Nothing too serious, but something that certainly was a little downside. The view from the room was also pretty good, however a new building being built may change that in future. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Hotel!”

We really enjoyed our stay here in Hotel Seinenkan! They are very generous with replenishing our amenities, even the slippers they replace everyday, which include pajamas. <3 The hotel is located near Gaiemmae Station. :) We just walked to Harajuku and can even walk from Shibuya if you're up for it! We werent able to try the hotel's hot bath though. :( All in all, this is a great choice for lodging! We will surely recommend this place to friends going to Tokyo. :)

Very good hotel”

The room condition was great. Although there is a ten minute walk from the subway station, it is very accessible to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Omotesando, etc. Considering the price and the average size of the rooms of Tokyo hotels, the hotel room in this hotel was very good. Japanese style bath facility was a lot better than expected, and was very comforting after the day's work. I travel to Tokyo every month, and ever since I met this hotel, I always stay at this hotel.

Wonderful hotel! Please don’t ever change! Keep up the good work. Hotel is in a nice location, quiet neighbourhood (unless if there is a game in the stadium). Nearby station (Guiamame station) walking distance only to get around Tokyo metro (Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Tsukiji Market and even narita and Haneda Airport). Very safe to walk. Our room is a superior double bed room - comfortable pillows and bed, separate toilet and bath, complimentary toiletries and slippers. Room fits 2 people and 2 medium sized luggages. With Onsen bath - we haven’t had a chance to try it. With restaurant - we haven’t tried coz we go everyday to eat around Tsukiji Market 😁 Definitely we’ll go back staying here in our next visit. Staff are very good and accommodating. They try their best to speak English. They are very knowledgeable as well.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Tokyo”

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Tokyo till now. And I have been to Tokyo at least 7 times. First, this hotel is so new, just open this year and the room is much bigger than any traditional small room of hotels in central Tokyo. The location of the hotel is so good, close to subway station. You can take a walk or jog in the morning to Meiji Shrine, Omotesando and Meiji Shrine Outer Court. Also, the hotel has a hot spring in 10th floor and have a nice baseball stadium view and quiet atmosphere. The hotel is at Aoyoma region belonging to culture and education region. Before I only booked for staying at this hotel two days. After stayed this hotel two days, I really like it and decided to stay at this hotel for two more nights. I love this hotel so much, so I strongly recommend to and travelers who come to Tokyo to stay.

Will stay here again!”

+ Great location - 5 min walk away from Gainmae station with the Ginza line, from which you can easily access tourist spots like Asakusa, Ginza and Shibuya. It's also 1 km away from the Oedo line and Harajuku. While being very accessible, the surrounding area is homey and away from the craziness of downtown Tokyo. + Nice facilities - Room is spacious and comfortable compared to other Tokyo hotels, and the configuration of separating the toilet from the shower room is efficient for big groups. Room service is comprehensive and the toilet is high tech (lol). + Helpful staff, especially those who were fluent in English + Reasonable price Next time we go back to Tokyo, we'll definitely choose the same hotel. Loved it!

Excellent”

Very clean, bright and modern looking establishment. I had a superior single room that was large enough for Japanese standards & the room had a nice view overlooking the baseball stadium. The hotel is in a relatively peaceful area and is quite a walk from Sendagaya JR station past the new Olympic construction. It is closer to Gaiemmae Metro on the Ginza Line, with plenty of restaurants & coffee shops around the station. There is a restaurant on the Lobby level (which I didn't use) & a very pleasant Reception area. There is also a very nice, clean & hot Japanese bath available for guests, which I did use. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends to stay in Tokyo, if they want to be close to Shibuya, Harajuku & Shinjuku but not in the thick of things.

I love this hotel”

Everytime I visit Tokyo for business, I stay at this hotel. Compared to other hotels in Shibuya and Shinjuku, where I usually have business meetings, this hotel is by far in the best condition within the similar price range. The price seemed to be going up a little bit, though.

Nice Hotel”

Overall we had a great experience here. Its in between two train stations. 2 stops away from Shibuya and Shinjuku. Also a direct line to Asakusa. Hotel was comfortable, room is ok size for Tokyo. Familymart downstairs and has a public bath/sauna. Ok if you don't mind walking.

Excellent New Modern Hotel”

The hotel itself is very modern, new and excellent. The staff speak excellent English and can speak other languages too. They are very professional and polite. You can also request some special things like a buckwheat pillow, which is very nice. They also give you a free bottle of water per day which I love. Typical with Japanese Hotels, it's a bit smaller than a typical US hotel but enough to move around. Inside the room, there are lots of little freebies in the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower is SUPERB. The toilet seats are top of the line TOTO bidet and automatic on lights. Room include a SHARP PLASMACLUSTER air cleaner + humidifier which is great to keep odors out and air healthy. The thermostat works pretty well and AC is super quiet. WIFI is fast and around 20-50 mbps. The lights can ALL be controlled from the panel and be dimmed too. TV gets you access to essentials, about 30 channels. Another thing noted is that the toilet and bathroom are seperate areas with seperate door entry which is nice. There's a laundry room on the 10th floor and you can monitor the time on your TV. It costs 300 yen to wash, 100 yen to dry. And detergent can be purchased from the 1st floor. The onsen is also on the 10th floor, they provide you bathrobes and slippers which is very nice. There's some slight noise during the day but VERY minor and you have to pay attention to it from the sports stadiums around, the school, and some construction. It's a bit of a walk from JR (20 min) and Tokyo Metro (8 minutes). There is a convenient store on the 1st floor, and up the street, there's a supermarket, multiple convenience stores, and restaurants.
