Beautiful scenery and friendly staff”
My friends and I stayed at Niramon for the Full Moon Party NYE 2014. The hotel was pretty close to the pier and only 200 baht for a one way transfer. The hotel staff was very very friendly and helped us out with all our our questions and concerns. In addition, they provided free WIFI and spoke great English. The best thing about this place was the private beach in the back where you could swing and walk in the middle of the ocean only knee-deep. It was a pleasant surprise. WARNING: do not rent any mopeds across from the hotel, the owner is not friendly and will trick you to a 200 baht/day deal but keep your passport until you return the vehicle. He tried to keep my friend's passport hostage if she didn't pay for a small scratch. Anyways, all in all, this hotel is great for the budget and the STAFF WAS GENUINELY NICE. Thank you!!!!

Nice little resort in Haad Yao”
I enjoyed my stay at Niramon, rooms were comfortable and the service/help was good - I stayed an extra night and did an organised tour. I would recommend Niramon for those who like to have fun but don't want the chaos of Haad Rin. Other than that cannot fault the resort at all. Thanks!

Satisfactory couple days spent”
My fiancee and I arrived to Niramon Resort for a quick getaway on Koh Phangan. Many of the other resorts in the area were booked, so we took our chance with Niramon. Overall, the value for the price seemed fair. The location of this hotel is truly beautiful, and the pool takes full advantage of this beauty. The room was big and comfortable. The only thing I would have liked more is for the AC to be stronger -- it felt it was too weak to cool the room below 26C. We visited Koh Phangan during the hottest time in Thailand, so perhaps that had something to do with it. Overall, our stay was satisfactory.

Nice Place and worth the money!”
We really enjoyed our stay here and we had chosen the cheapest room, they gave us the only cheap room with a good review which is number 34. The staff are friendly and helpful and this resort is in a nice quiet area of phangan far from the full moon party. There are some lovely little beaches all within a 20minute walk, some only a few minutes away. The budget rooms were small, but clean and comfortable. There were only 2 downpoints, the swimming pool was a little dirty, lots of hair in. And although we didnt try the food at the resort there were a few complaints about it when we were there, but there are some great resturants within walking distance and there is a lovely little cafe called The arts cafe opposite the resort.

4 nights on the quiet side of Koh Phangan ”
Our stay was pleasant - this is a very quiet area and quite a distance from Thomgsala, Ban Tai and Haad Rin. I would only recommend staying here if you feel comfortable on a scooter, because it's not within walking distance of many shops, etc. We tried Snorkeling but the water was a little murky and there were not enough lights in the resort to lead the way down to our bungalow. Very dark! But on the one day that we stayed at home, it was very peaceful and the pool is nice and big. We didn't eat here at all so I can't comment on the food or prices.

Friendly Staff”
The resort was run by a family who were very nice and helpful. They spoke English pretty well and if you ask they will drive you into town for free and if they do charge, it's less than a taxi. The Resort was nice and clean. They cleaned the pool daily but you had to ask for your rooms to be clean or get fresh towels. Beach front room wasn't really on the beach but we did get a view of the ocean. The resort does not have a beach but you can walk over to one but the beaches in this area were rocky. The restaurant food was not the best but there are a few good places outside the door. Internet and water issues.

overall good accommodation for the price we paid! Rooms were decent, with air con etc! Had a problem one evening as the electricity didnt work ( only our bungalow) and was very quickly taken care of! In general you cant go wrong with this place

Good hotel at Haad Chao Phao”
It was a nice stay at Niramo. It's a re-built bungalow with good facility and clean room. I was upgraded to seaview room though I booked a standard room. The staff are nice as well. The hotel provide the shuttle to full moon party and pier with reasonable charge.

Two very helpful people thereand a decent room. The other comments are correct in that the beach is a long way away and rubbish, and the pool is dirty. The worst thing about our stay was some drunk and badly-behaved guests, and a very unhelpful and rude lady at reception (who claimed to be part-owner, let's hope for their sake that's not the case). If you are detrmined to stay in this part of Koh Phangan head a km South, everything is better; accomodation, beaches, restaurants, shops...

Ok for one night, but not longer”
Went to Pha-Ngan for only one night and found this Hotel. Nice environment, only two minutes to the beach, clean pool with bar, friendly staff. Our room was a bit dirty, had to change the towels, bathroom is very small (bathroom = shower stall). You should take a bungalow if you can, they are much more comfortable and cleaner. Restaurant has a huge variety of food for good prices.

We stayed here to go to the Fullmoon party. The hotel arranged a taxi for us and this was just a great place to relax afterwards, swimmingpool is lovely and staff is absolutely great. The chalets are fine.

The Staff really is nice and helpful, they give you information and help for motorbike rental. Such a nice place for couples with/out kids. Close to secret beach. Really calm even if the beach in front of the hostel isn't clean enought. Whatever is plenty of nice beaches really close. I recommend truly!

Very basic room but good location”
Rooms very basic, wooden bungalows with floorboards with huge gaps between them, mosquito net full of holes. Maze to find the room, got lost a few times within the hotel grounds. Nearby cafe is excellent. Can walk to the beach and bars and restaurants nearby.

Very average for price bracket”
For the price we paid - for what was advertised as a seaview bungalow (seaview was in fact a second row bungalow) the accommodation was very average. We stayed far better for much cheaper in almost all our other accommodation during a month long trip through Thailand. The bungalows are old and rundown. It is a very long trek down a steep hill to get to your accommodation. There is very little to do around the resort, making bike rental a must. It is also not on a swimming beach. Staff was friendly and helpful though.
