Did you find this review summary helpful?
I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. First of all, the location is quite good. It’s a bit of a walk to Tenjin Station, but in my opinion, it was not a bad distance, so I went out towards Tenjin Station and wandered around shops and restaurants. Also, if you cross the Nakasu River bridge, you will find the original Ichiran Ramen right there. A little further up, there’s also Don Quijote, and it’s convenient to stroll around Nakasu. The hotel is fairly large, but the single room was smaller than I expected. However, it was adequate for a solo stay, so it wasn’t a problem. I requested a river view at check-in, and I was very grateful to be assigned a high-floor room with a river view. Thanks to that, I could enjoy the beautiful night view of the Nakasu River. The water pressure in the bathroom was decent, and I appreciated having shampoo, conditioner, and body shampoo available in the room. I was satisfied that I could freely take various amenities from the lobby on the first floor and use them. The bed in the room was also quite comfortable and I was satisfied. Since it was a short stay, there was no separate room cleaning, but they provided towels and a bottle of water daily. However, the amount of towels and water seemed a bit insufficient during the hot summer. It would be better if they could increase the quantity provided during summer stays. Also, I’m not sure about the other rooms, but the wallpaper in the room I stayed in felt a bit old. However, considering the price, I don’t think it was bad. Additionally, the staff at the front desk were very cute and friendly. They kindly stored my luggage and handled my trash, which I was very thankful for. I plan to stay here again when I visit Fukuoka next time.
I stayed in a triple room from April 11 to April 14 for 3 nights. The condition of the accommodation was good and the staff were kind, but there was a lot of draft and the central heating system didn't allow for temperature control. Out of the three of us, two caught colds. I slept in a sweatshirt and thick pants, but it was extremely cold in the early morning, as if I were sleeping outside. The soundproofing was poor, so I could hear noises from the hallway, sounds of water flushing from the upper floors, and chairs being dragged from above. The windows were double-glazed, but there were gaps that caused poor sound insulation. The location of the accommodation was great, right in front of Tenjin Station and across from the Ichiran Ramen headquarters. If I use it again, I would only go during warmer days.

I recently stayed there booked through Agoda, and my experience was quite mixed. I had requested a non-smoking room on a high floor with a great view of the river. Unfortunately, upon entering the room, I was met with a damp smell, and the bathroom had an even worse mold-like odor. The walls and edges of the window frames were covered in old dirt, making it difficult to breathe after sitting down for a while. There was also no phone in the room, which added to the inconvenience. Feeling very disappointed, I went down to the front desk on the first floor as there was no phone in the room to call. Using a translating app, I explained the situation, and the staff promptly changed my room. The new room was more comfortable and barely met my expectations. Had I been given this room initially, I would have left with a very positive impression. However, the initial experience left a sour taste, and it marred the beginning of my long-awaited trip to Fukuoka. The rest of my stay went well thanks to the prompt and courteous action of the staff, for which I am very grateful. However, due to the initial disappointment, I would consider staying elsewhere if I visit Fukuoka again. Overall, while the staff did their best to rectify the situation and I appreciate their efforts, the initial room condition was unacceptable and significantly affected my experience.
I think I saw a lot of comments that this Hotel needs an update, it does have a more vintage vibe in the rooms but the lobby etc feels modern, you may get a high floor and good room I got a low one without a view which is fine as I had an open itinerary and was booking Hotels at the last moment. It isn't that bad, pretty standard Japanese Hotel, value depends on the city you're at, I think that is a given, so please manage your expectations. The lobby is professional and the check in, check out process is fuss free, I even tried to call the lobby asking about the tv access and all's good. It's clean and accessible via the Tenjin station through the underground connected passes through malls and what not. Easily walkable to main areas for shopping, food and a night out/drinks, you can take a bus if you want to venture further to Fukuoka Tower etc. Might want to stay in other area if I ever come back to Fukuoka but would recommend this Hotel.
Thank you very much for staying at our hotel the other day. In addition, thank you for your gratitude and appreciate this time. We will continue to work so that we can offer you a place to relax and satisfaction for everyone in the future.

“If location is important!”
The view of the Nakasu River is nice, and above all, the location is really good. I was always in Hakata before, but it was my first time in Tenjin. It was convenient to get to Tenjin Station, Don Quijote, and Aeon Mall Canal, and Hakata was just a quick subway ride away, which was great. So whenever I had time, I easily went back and forth between Don Quijote and Aeon Mall several times. There is an escalator at exit 16 in Tenjin, and when you come out that way, you can see the hotel right away. There is also a convenience store nearby. The location couldn't be better. One downside is that it feels a bit old. There is some dust in places like the ventilation fan. The biggest downside is that the Wi-Fi is very poor, so I recommend having enough data if you plan to go here. Oh, and the fridge seems to have a bit of weak power, but it's fine for chilling; just eat things like ice cream quickly because they will melt if you leave them in for too long, haha. There was ice on the 10th floor, which I used well. I stayed in a twin room, and having a table, chairs, and a vanity was convenient. The bedding is clean. The bathroom has a somewhat small bathtub and a small toilet door; it's just so-so, but the water pressure is good. Since I am sensitive to heat, I turned on the air conditioning, but even that seemed to lack power, haha. I wonder how it will be in the middle of summer, but I think it will be fine in winter. I couldn't hear much noise from people, but some thumping sounds were noticeable. Still, the location and the view of the Nakasu River cover up these issues. If your priorities are location and view, then this place should be fine!
