Great location & service in a quiet hood!”
Nishitetsu Inn is a great place to stay at while in Tokyo. It is very close to a metro station (Nishi Shinjuku, with a lift for when you have suitcases), about 5 minutes or less by foot; it has a cafe downstairs; they have all the toiletries that you need; the staff were super polite and friendly; we had a great and fast check-in and check-out (we even got to check-in an hour earlier). The hood is super quiet even if it's close to the bustling Shinjuku. There was a 24-hour Family Mart convenience store on the same street where the hotel was. It's super connected. The room was small but it was bigger than the usual hotel room in Tokyo in my opinion. It was one of the reasonably priced hotels. I'll definitely go back.
Exceptional”
Nishitetsu Inn is in a very attractive part of Tokyo, with lovely tree-lined streets. It was very close to the Shinjuku Station which made travelling around Tokyo easy. Although the room was small (by NZ standards) it was lovely and clean with toiletries replenished daily (toothbrush and paste, soap, shampoo) and razors etc available freely in reception. Rooms were serviced daily and we were supplied with a kettle, cups, and a fridge. I took ordinary tea, coffee, and sugar, (and a tea-towell) but green tea sachets were supplied. There was a $2 (100 yen) shop almost next door so very convenient for forgotten items (like face cloth - not supplied, scissors etc). 7/11 stores are prolific with again, one almost next door.
Great stay at Shinjuku”
Totally enjoyed my stay at Nishitetsu Inn Shinjuku. Will definitely go back to the hotel when I travel to Tokyo again. It is in close proximity to the train stations as well as the major shopping areas in Shinjuku. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel.
Exceptional!”
It was a pleasant stay at Nishitetsu Inn Shinjuku, we were relying on the mostly good reviews and it was all true. We would like to recommend this hotel if you would travel in tokyo within the Red Line of the MRT, because it's really near the MRT Station.

Great location, great price”
I stayed at the nishitetsu inn for 6 nights. Hotel is 3 minute walking distance from the nishishinjuku train station, or 10 minute walk from the shinjuku station. Staff was nice, and the hotel rooms came with all the basic necessities. There is a small cafe downstairs, which serves coffee, tea and pastries, perfect to start your morning off right. I would stay here again.
Great location, great service”
I had a wonderful time at the Nishitetsu Inn. The staff was friendly and our rooms were always perfect. The location is also great, about a 10-15 minute walk from Shinjuku Station, and feet away from a 7-Eleven. I would definitely stay here again next time I go to Tokyo!
Small but comfortable and convenient ”
Stayed an extended period of a week in Nishitetsu Inn. Location is fairly easy to locate. It is just less than a minute walk from the Nishi-Shinjuku metro station exit 1. It is situated between 2 convenient stores within 15 seconds walk each. Station is also not as crowded in the morning compared to the stations. Check in was fairly straight forward, as we arrived near midnight, but they were still available for us to check in. Check out was just a card drop, easy. Staff were polite. Didn't had to trouble them much during the stay. They understood english fairly ok so it was straight forward to converse. Room itself was generally clean and beds were comfortable. TV had only 1 english channel so bring along your own entertainment if required. Take note that because it is more of a business short trip hotel, the room size was fairly small. We didn't have space to fully open up 2 luggage, but for us it was not an issue, as it was only a minor inconvenience.
Great Hotel with nice location”
I totally enjoyed my stay at Nishitetsu Inn Shinjuku. I have stayed at this hotel before in my previous trips so I have no complains about it and I am glad that it maintained its standard from the previous time.
Excellent ”
I stayed for two nights, it’s not far from Shinjuku station and shopping area. Hotel is new, bed is bigger than traditional hotel bed. Room isn’t too big but good enough for 28’’ luggage. WiFi speed is super fast. At lobby, there is very good cafe bar. Variable restaurants are in the walking distance. I strongly recommend Nishitetsu.
clean hotel with good location”
The hotel is just sit beside metro station "Nishi-Shinjuku"(西新宿站,M07 at Marunouchi Line (丸之内线), 1 station away from the big Shinjuku Station. You just turn left and walk straight after exiting from Exit 1 from the metro station. There are 3 24hr convenience store beside (family mart, 711 & Lawson) which you can buy all ur basic necessary, food & drinks there. The room is not big but very clean and quiet. Staff are very friendly with good conversant of English. The hotel is a good bargain due to its location and high accommodation cost in Tokyo. I will recommend it to my friends and will stay here again when visiting Tokyo next time.
Excellent hotel ”
This is my 4th time at the Nishitetsu, subway close by, 3 all hour delis within 3-5 mins walk. Close to Shinjuku main station a major hub for journeys, near major department stores, a cafe at the entry, staff incredibly helpful and professional. Rooms reasonable size by Japanese standards but they are smallish like everywhere in Japan, value for money. I will continue to stay there on my trips to Japan.
Awesome place to stay in Tokyo”
I think Nishitetsu Inn Shinjuku is one of the best hotel stay in Tokyo for budget traveller
Good location, value for money”
The hotel location is nearby to Shinjuku station. I took about 5 to 10 mins walk to station. I uses the A18 underpass to link myself to JR rail. It's very accessible. I walked around the area and there are food restaurant within 500m radius. Otherwise, just walk to Shinjuku and there are plenty of stalls there (15mins walk without going underpass). Hotel facilities are good. There is a female area laundry at Level 14. The only thing that I would like to feedback is the availability of English channel. In my opinion, room space is good for solo traveller. I was amazed by the toilet set up. It's a compact room that has every basic things you need. I definitely will recommend this hotel to anyone who is gonna travel to Tokyo. Great stay!
Great value and location”
We stayed 4 nights at Nishitetsu Inn and enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and good value for money. Location was very convenient with metro station < 3mins walk away. Staff were also very helpful, and accommodating with our left baggage. We would stay here again.
Good for the area ”
I ended up going to Tokyo during Golden Week, which significantly reduced the amount of hotels available within the area. I was lucky to for a room at this hotel at a decent price. The room itself was quite large for Tokyo and welcoming. The bathroom was a decent size and clean. In terms of location it wasn’t too far from the “fun” side of Shinjuku. Staff were great and the coin laundry in the hotel was excellent (and affordable). I found my stay to be relaxing and comfortable here.
Excellent location with good price value”
Excellent location in the heart of Tokyo. Recommended for business travellers and tourists searching for convenient location and good price value .The Metro station is very close and Shinjuku just a few minutes walk. Nicely surrounded by beautiful buildings . Highly recommended for short stay travellers with business meetings in Shinjuku and Shibuya. The coffee shop at the hotel lobby offers delicious coffee and breakfast service. Overall Nice experience
Good value, good service ”
location wise, this little hotel is good. it is near the massive shinjuku station that is served by several railway lines, a convenience you'll certainly appreciate. the walk from shinjuku station to the hotel takes approx. 10 to 15 minutes - not necessary to cross the blue overhead bridge if you take the slightly longer way to the road junction right below the above-ground railway track - this is useful if you are carrying big luggage bags! in addition to that, the hotel is right by the nishishinjuku station (marunouchi line), allowing you direct access to the subway system if you're feeling too lazy to walk to shinjuku, especially in the cold. reception and cleaning staff were polite and helpful. the room was not large (picture a queen bed, wall-bound table, tiny bathroom), extremely clean, and offers the various usual items like hot water flask, glass, mug, shampoo, toothbrush, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, even a shoe horn. iron can be requested from the receptionist. laundry can be done on a specific floor, in a room containing the machines along with a nice beer-dispensing vending machine to help you wait for the dryer ;-)
A business hotel with good location ”
The hotel is just 5-min walking distance from the Shinjuku station, where you can reach every location in Tokyo. It is also close to the restaurant and night life area in the West Shinjuku, although the main shopping and night life area is at East Shinjuku, where is also walkable from the hotel. The staff can communicate in English, and the room cleaning service is very efficient. All is done before one thirty pm.
Exceptional”
Near to Nishitetsu shinjuku of marunouchi line. The room is spacious, I like a corner for dining while watching TV. The coffee packs from hotel is very nice. The room cleaning service very punctual.
