Impressive staff, affordable and decent inn”
The room is relatively spacious and the staff is accommodating- from guiding you in choosing the correct train station to helping you find lost valuables. The place is relatively near Dotunburi, more or less a 10 min walk. It is around 400 m from Daikokochu station. The hotel is located in a peaceful area which allowed me to relax after a long day. Definitely recommending this hotel.

Worth the money”
The location is harder to access but the nearest station Daikakucho metro makes it easier, unfortunately it is harder to move around with luggages. The hotel is near convenient store so no issues getting snacks and water. It is harder to walk to Namba station with heavy luggages. Beware using Google map, it sucks in this location.

Simple hotel room with kitchenette ”
The room is spacious. Generally clean, amenities are supplied at the reception. Quite a walk if you have luggage so I took the taxi. For daily moving around, subway is relatively near. Walking distance to DenDen Town. Coin laundry in the building which is really convenient. Simple yet fulfilling breakfast during my stay.

Big room for a traveller. Enjoying stay here. Breakfast was so so. Not many choices available. Suggestion to the hotel: please add more breakfast menu. Ex: boil egg, half cooked egg, rice, seafood sandwich, rice with egg, rice with fried seafood. I am a Muslim so this kind of menu will be very helpful for us. Go for tourists attraction !!!

Great value and very comfortable”
We went to Osaka from Tokyo quite suddenly, just after the Fukushima power plant issues began. We had no reservations, and a massive exodus from Tokyo was underway. As such, there wasn't much planning involved before our trip began. Our first two nights were spent near Umeda Station at a more expensive hotel with smaller rooms. We moved over to the Nissin Namba Inn for our third night, and we were very happy with the move. The room was bigger and more comfortable, the price was less, and the staff was friendlier. The hotel was located between two stations on the Midosuji line, making it easy to get around the city. The Namba shopping and entertainment district was a short walk away, and there were convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants all within a minute of the hotel. I will definitely stay there again next time I go to Osaka. It was a really great value, and the takoyaki place right next door to the hotel was quite good.

Extra helpful hotel staff”
On our last few days in Kansai area, we returned to Osaka and stayed in Nissin Namba. By this time, finding the hotel was easy. As we left a number of bags for storage, we were pleasantly surprised that the bags were brought to our rooms. Great help from the hotel staff. Besides, we were given rooms on the 10th floor with unobstructed views of surroundings. Our children were ready for another round of shopping to complete their list so they were back to the shopping districts while we parents had a grand time sipping coffee and sandwiches at the Osaka Namba Station commercial complex. Our last night was taking a full buffet dinner at Hilton International in Umeda with some of my Japanese friends who came to see me from Tokyo.

Great value for money”
I enjoyed my stay at Nissin Namba Inn. The facilities are adequate, the service was good, and the price was unbeatable. It's the most affordable hotel that provides you with a big room (by Japan standards) and a private toilet and bath. Also, the Namba district is the best place to stay at, since there are lots of malls to shop at, and the Station is a great place to serve as your gateway/jumpoff point for your sightseeing. PROS: The high speed internet was really useful (no WIFI though, just wired LAN internet). The staff was very friendly and spoke sufficient English. Room was big, by Japan standards. Free breakfast everyday (only coffee/tea and bread are served, but hey, it's free!). For it's price, this hotel was well worth it. CONS: It's a bit of a walk to the nearest station of Namba (around 800 meters to 1 km), but at the very least, there are multiple lines that run along this Namba Station (JR Line, Nankai line to airport, Kintetsu line to Nara, 3 subway lines: Midosuji/Chuo/Sennichimae) so you can virtually go to any area in Osaka, to Kyoto or to Nara from this station. The nearest malls are the ones around Namba Station so you have to walk a bit to get there. Also, not much dining options nearby.

Small Room n Bed But Great Service”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nissin Namba for the reasonable price. The location means a little more walking to the train station and Namba centre, but it was pleasnt at this time of the year. The staff, NouYuki and others makes our stay very pleasant. We were also allowed earlier check in at 12pm+ instead of 2pm as the room was available. We look fwd to stay there again in our next trip!!

Wonderful quiet location with roomy hotel room”
Do not let "dated furnishings" from one of the reviews comment discouraging you from booking this hotel. The furnitures were dated, but they are in great condition, and also clean. We stayed in 4 different hotels in Osaka ( one of them is in a higher price category), and this one is the best and most comfortable. This hotel is located in a residential area, so it is quiet and has bigger room. With no tall buildings surrounding it, there was natural light from the window. We totally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is only 5-10 min walk from the newly built Namba Parks. Namba Parks has over 500 stores for shopping, and its multi-levels outdoor gardens is a treat itself for anyone wants to spend time to explore them. Dotonbori street and the train station is just a few minutes walk away. Very central location.

I was very happy with my stay at the Nissin Namba Inn. My room was clean and quiet and the staff was very nice and helpful. Also having a free internet access was a great bonus so I could contact my family and friends.

Very nice staff and you get your money's worth”
I came to the hotel in the morning to drop off my suitcase (check-in is from 1pm) and I was welcomed very friendly. I was even offered to sit down in the lobby and have some coffee and bread from the buffet if I liked (the coffee was tasty). When I came back to the counter to ask for sightseeing spots they gave me a map and marked important places. It was around 9 am and they even offered me to check-in already, so I guess when I dropped my baggage they asked the room service to clean my room first. My room was big enough for 2 people and it even had a nice stereo system and a small kitchen (I never saw that in a Japanese hotel for around that price before). The bathroom was hotel standard-y small but clean. There were only two points which I found a little annoying: you can access the internet only by LAN (cable is provided but rather short) in your room (the lobby has W-LAN) and on the 10th floor my television set received about 4 channels, so I could chose between suumo and teleshopping. You don't have to book additional breakfast, juice, coffee, tee and some kinds of bread will be provided in the lobby in the morning. You can even warm them up and take them to your room (they also have an English information sheet, unfortunately the "take to your room" info is only written in Japanese inside the elevator). I cannot say much about the English performance of the hotel since I talked in Japanese to the staff, but when I met new staff they always greeted me in English very politely. Maybe the stereo is a little hard to use, since the channel list is mostly in Japanese, but for airconditioner, breakfast, internet and television English information is provided. The location is very good for sightseeing since Namba is very close, and a convenience store is just across the street. Overall, I was very happy with my hotel-choice, and if I go to Osaka again, I will definitely go there again.

very good hotel, with great service and complete hotel amenities e.i., toiletries, mini-kitchenette, towels & bathrobes. we have enjoyed our stay here so much. nothing to complain about. though there's no free wifi in the room, but they do provide lan cable for laptops and a coin-operated internet service in the lobby. try your best to wake up early to catch up their free (danish) breakfast that is being served from 7am until 10am. very good location in namba area. there's a nearby grocery store where you could get items at cheaper prices compared to convenience stores. just a few steps from the hotel. there's also a bento-to-go store where you could get delicious jap. bento (beside grocery store.) room space is not quite small for travelers like us who would be spending most of our time outside. we've had a comfortable sleep and rest in our room. it's also close to dotonbori where you could really enjoy osaka's nightlife and very great food! thumbs up to all the staffs & hotel mngt.! would definitely be staying in this hotel again the next time we visit osaka. domo arigato gozaimasu!

Awesome place to stay..!!”
Nissin Namba Inn is near taikokucho station. Less than 5 min walk.. !! It was a lot better than I thought and people were very nice. They serve breakfast with different kinds of rolls and coffee. You can always warm them up in tiny ovens.

Great, Value-for-money Hotel”
We didn't mind the distance (a little less than a kilometer) of this hotel from Namba Station. We had been walking and riding trains and subways during our stay in Osaka anyway. Google map street level view is such a great help in finding our way to the hotel, as well as many tourist spots in Osaka. Breakfast at the hotel is good enough for us - unlimited hot and cold drinks and various bread and pastries to choose from. You can't ask for more, considering the price we paid.

Friendly and helpful service.”
My daughter is having fever while our stay in this hotel. My wife suggest to buy congee for my daughter. However, it is not easily to buy congee in Osaka. Instead, we asked the inn to borrow cooking equipment to us, and we make fresh congee for our daughter. The cooking equipment we borrow have everything, include cutting board, knife, pot, pan , bowl, plate. We are very happy that we stay in this inn. The people are friendly and helpful. We definitely will come back to the same inn as our next time visit to Osaka.

Comfortable, quiet and safe neighborhood.”
Despite the fact that communication was a bit of a struggle, staff at Nissin Namba Inn were very helpful and friendly, the room that we stayed in was of fair size and clean. The closet subway was only a 5 minutes walk and we felt safe at all time even walking at night. Continental breakfast was acceptable and ample.
