Don't stay here! The hotel is overpriced! ”
The hotel is very overpriced! Rooms are not clean, furniture are very old and room smells because of it. Bathroom is dirty and has some mold. The only good thing is friendly staff. I wouldn't recommend to stay here.

Definitly overrated”
The son of the holder is friendly and very helpful. Its in the center of the city.
This is the first time for a review - ever! And thats why i do it at this hotel: 1. the prize for the accommodation is too high for what you get 2. the room is worn out as hell: - damaged and ugly toilets with some dead cockroach in the flush box (no cover) - no warm water (but listed in room description) - the mattress is littered of holes from cigarettes and what else... - spider weaves (no clean up?) 3. i checked in at the evening then went out to buy some food for dinner. After i went back, the owner came out of my room. Since now i dont know what he did there! No clean up, nothing canged. So very wired situation and he cant explain me what he did. But for your information: I dont miss anything. 4. After i bought something to drink on another place, the owner told me that i can buy at his place. But its more expensive in the hotel so the owner gave me some discount! Nice! But on the check out, i get asked to pay the rest of the money for the drinks i bought in the hotel. But after all there is one good thing at the hotel: The son of the owner was very helpfull and friendly. About me: Low-Mid-Budget Backpacker. Slept in different places on my trip and im not so sensitive about my sleeping place. But this time too much happend in the hotel and its too expensive for what you get.

Atmosphere, uniqueness, decor
If you are a writer, artist or creative person starved for inspiration then I would recommend staying at the Nita Inn. Otherwise avoid. Staff were really nice but that's all that was good about it. Sorry.

VERY BAD VALUE ”
They first gave me SINGLE WITH FAN instead of A Standard TWIN AIRCON So finally after my insisting they gave me A SINGLE AIR CON that did not even show on he booking choices NO WI FI at Nita Inn Nobody at Nita Inn could speaker English of course it makes it easier to play dumb and give you what they want ! AS A RESULT I ended up paying about double of what the same item costs In Vientiane Nita inn is an old run down house the map shows a location supposed to be quiet$ It is on one of the loudest crossroad in town ! The second person traveling with me could not make it to Vientiane on that day but any way as the single didn’t really gave space to move about I could have used the space of second bed to arrange my luggage’s . I am a frequent Agoda customer and usually don’t bother writing reviews at all !

RATHOLE NEXT TO NOTHING”
GREAT TO GET AWAY FROM
If you want a dirty, stinky, buggy, hole in the ground--the nita inn is the place for you!!! The bathroom had dust and cobwebs. They provide you with mosquito netting, thankfully, but it does not keep out the bedbugs!! Worst hotel I have stayed in in my lifetime, and I am 55 been around the world and THOUGHT I had seen the worst, hopefully now I have.

Great location, very low standard.”
Frindy staff, great location, big stores/markets withing 5 minutes walk, and lots of places to eat just outside.
First off, I have to say that my review is based on a heavy discount, , which seemd as a reasonable price, so I guess I would have been less happy if I had paid full price... Fan room was OK for this time of year. Hardly used the fan at all. Only when I had been outside and walked up all the stairs. Good view from the top floor. I had some problem checking in, as they didn`t have any possibility to check my booking number, and that I had actually paid already. The lady that worked there asked me at least 10 times! This made me think that the room could have been occupied despite that I had paid already. Their english could have been better, but all in all, everything went OK, and next time I`ll bring a printout of my booking, and everything shood go alot smoother. They also have some snack, coffe and beverages if you should need som at night time. (most shops close around 11 pm in the area.) Prices are the same as in the stores, so no stupid hotel charges. I paid 5 THB for a cup of coffe :) If you don`t care about very old furniture, VERY dirty walls, TV the size of a iPad, no remote control, only 1 very strong light in the seiling, and dogs that barks a few minutes every 2nd. hour, I reccommend this place. Bathroom is nice enough, just stay away from the open electrisity couplings :P The balcony was actually very nice, and there was also a very scary emergancy stair there. Oh, and there are som birds in the air-duct, that makes some very annoing noice every now and then. :) The room is OK if you just need it to sleep and take a shower.

This hotel was in area 10 not in area one as it showed on the map.It is close to the airport not to anything else. Travel was difficult and costly. I would stay in area 1 next trip. the hotel itself is fine but no one spoke any english so communnication was very difficult

Only 1 kilometer fom the city centre! ”
The hotel was reasonably close to the market and Wat Sisaket
The hotel rooms were not as clean or inviting as the photos suggsted. The hotel is also adjacent to a pet shop with puppies in cages outside and dogs barking fairly constantly inside. The attached restaurant was closed all the time we were there but the gentleman at the desk was welcoming and tried to help.

close to morning market and bus station
The staff < or the owener > are very friendly, but they are a little bit local,so you can't ask more thing for more difficult things. The room are good size ,toilet was o.k.,but most of the room are very noisy from the main rode,so if you have problem to sleep with noise, then you must book the room on the back side, that they have only a few rooms.

Big rooms, OK location, could be cleaner”
Rooms are pretty big.
Located right outside the 9x9 grid of Vientian's touristy area. 10 minute walk to the Mekong river. There is really nothing special about this place. Reasonably priced. The staff is nice and speak very basic English. The location was convenient for me, as I went to the local swimming pool (3 minutes walk) and the Patoxai area (8 min walk) every day. Also very close to the Talat Sao market. I paid 80.000 kip for a single room which had a fan, a TV, a double bed and a terrace (April '12).

Good value for the money ”
Nice people
Don't expect any luxury here and don't expect the staff to clean your room every day if you stay a few days in Vientiane. But the rooms are large, clean, comfortable and quite frankly, for about 10$ per night, there's not much else you can ask for.
