in Chiang Mai.

The Nan National Museum is one of the most complete and up-to-date museums in the country, covering the region’s agricultural history as well as religious artifacts and images dating back hundreds of years. Considering its small size, Nan certainly had more than its fair share of temples and religious architecture scattered around the city. One of the most popular of these temples is Phumin Temple, also known as Wat Phumin. It’s the only one that looks as though it was built on backs of two massive snakes, and the interior is even more impressive than the unique exterior. Whether in Nan to tour the places of worship, or everything else that Nan has to offer, there’s certainly more than enough to see and do around this small town that packs a lot of punch.
