Comfy and friendly hostess”

We were staying in this guesthouse house. The location is very near Kita 24 subway, about 5-7 min. What we loved most was the free and wholesome breakfast . The futton bed was simply wonderful and we had such a good sleep. The hostess was very friendly and accomodating. Special thanks to her helper, who helped to translate for us. This place reminded us of home and we will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

I booked a bed at Hokkaido Sun Guest House last minute. The place was nice and cozy -- shared living area/kitchen was large and had a friendly feel. The room was fine, typical of a multi-bed hostel. Had air conditioning. Breakfast was good, you could have different choices of drink (tea, milk, juice, etc), freshly prepared salad, and make your own toast. Staff was friendly. Only downside was the stairs so you had to carry your suitcase up to your room. About 15-20 minutes walk to the shopping area nearby.

Worth the Price”

The place was convenient, and has a good ambience and atmosphere. WhatI love the most are the bilingual staff that can adjust to your language preference, either Japanese or English that makes communication a whole lot easier. Also, the place has this warm homey atmosphere and they are friendly to guests.

Hokkaido Sun Guesthouse is very confortable.I have spent 3 nights here.I enjoyed the free breakfast and the lovely staff.I felt at home, the beds are very confortable and this hostel is very clean.I really recommend this guesthouse if you want to have a quiet night in a confortable bed and meet some great people.

stayed in female dorm, but actually it was mixed dorm in a big room and they put sliding door between which makes it so small. the bed is capsule style. provided breakfast but didn't had it as the owner cooked something that i can't eat.

The staff are nice. They offer simple breakfast which is nice. The bed is comfortable amd warm. Hope to get to stay with them again when I come back to Sapporo

The location is like 10 min walk from subway but the guest house is nice and cosy. It was clean and spacious. You are allowed to use their kitchen facilities. Just that you have to switch off light by 11 pm which I think is too early when you are on holiday trip.

Great hospitality, the place is very clean and homey. A little far from the station and located inside a housings, it was quite a struggle to reach in snowy winter especially if you carry a suitcase. Overall I enjoyed my short stay here and wish it was longer.
