- Value for money - Location is ok, close to Namba Nankai stastion. - The room was clean except the refrigerator. - Shared toilet and shower is a bit dirty (have a hair on the floor) and there's flood on the toilet floor. - No curfew - Heater works fine.

Its quite far from train station 10-15mins walk and this place is on 2nd floor of the building and entrance is hard to find (please put English sign on the first floor! or at the staircase) The room was amazing! Sofa+microwave+hot water machine+TV. Fully equipped! Instead of local wifi, they have pocket Wifi for you. it was so useful for me. The bath room is super small. Location is superb, very nearby to 3 Namba stations. I had to leave the place to airport at 5am, and the Nankai Namba station is so easily reached. You can walk all the way to Dotonbori, either on the ground or under ground. The only thing I can complain is, noise. You can easily hear people talking or walking outside the building. But other than that, everything else is great!

Would not recommend for non Japanese speaker”

We only stay here for one night. This place is walking distance from Dontonbori and Namba Station. There's no elevator so not good if you have many luggages. The owner doesn't speak English. I guess it make sense bacause of the price.

Disappointing”

There wasn't any wi-fi at all in the guesthouse though it was stated in the deal. It was so inconvenient without any wi-fi to use. Used toothpaste tubes and hairbrushes were left in our room. Do they expect new guests to use them?

A Great Place to Stay”

Our room was impeccably clean and had charming decor. The staff was very kind and didn't hesitate to assist us. The bathroom was quite clean as well and had all the basic amenities. The location was a short walk 10 minute walk from Nankai Namba Station. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and you're just far enough to get away from all the noise around the station, but close enough to walk to Dotonbori, Kuromon Market and Shinsaibashi Shopping Street. The only negative thing to note are the stairs. If you have a lot of luggage this may pose a bit of an inconvenience as you lug your bags up several floors. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and can see ourselves making another booking with this guesthouse in the future. (:

Walking is required”

You may need to walk from Nankai Namba station to the guesthouse (5-10min) longer walk for subway station. There will not have name of the Guesthouse in the buidling. Hence you must remember how does it look like before you go there (snap a picture in your mobile) Free portable WIFI is available with reasonable speed. Shared bathroom, toilet and no lift. If you are okay with it then you may have a try. Anyway it is cheap to stay here.

Our stay was very comfortable. Location is in a quiet neighborhood yet very accessible to the subway, convenience store and restaurants. The lady owner was very nice and makes sure that all our needs are taken care of. Room was very clean and well supplied. My family enjoyed so much despite my husband coming in with crutches from a leg injury. We would love to come back to this place.

Alright for the money but...”

I paid next to nothing for a private room for my and my partner to travel to Osaka over Christmas. It was a great deal, but the futon were paper thin and the shower was TINY (like the kind of shower you have in a one-room Japanese apartment tiny). I was appreciative of the fact that the owner made our noisy neighbors quiet down when they were being loud after quiet hours. HOWEVER, I'm pretty sure this place is a front for something else. The owner was very very private and when I asked her the name of her dog she didn't seem to know. I don't think she or her family were Japanese and the place had changed names between when I made my reservation and arrived (~1 month) and there was a banner inside with a different name. So if you're okay with kind of hard beds, small shower, and staying over somewhere that might be a front for money laundering or something, it's a great bang for your buck. If any of that sketches you out a bit, I would book a room elsewhere.

Cheap room for a good location”

Location - few minutes walk from JR Namba station. There are restaurants nearby, some are open 24hrs. Price - I got the room at discounted rate (55% discount) Cleanliness - the room (family room) was spacious enough for 8-10pax. The room has a fridge and a microwave so u can stock food, which u can buy from a supermarket nearby. The owners provided us pocket wifi for free, which was very helpful and I can say is a must if you will travel in Japan. The only thing I didn't like is the bathroom. It's a bit small and I really had a hard time putting my clothes on.

Let me start off by saying it is unusual for me to give such a low rating buy this property was a disappointment. I was travelling as a group of 3 with luggage and was using namba as a central hub 3 nights as we wanted to go to izakayas and yakitoris. Pros: the location is good as it is close to namba (nightlife area of Osaka). If you're staying here for anything but the nightlife you should probably avoid it. Cons: the hotel never indicated that there were no escalators or elevators. We ended up lugging 30lbs of luggage up 4 flights of stairs. The first floor is an izakayas. The second is reception. The lowest floor where ppl can stay is the 3rd and some people even had to stay on the fifth floor. Imagine walking up 5 flights of stairs with luggage or a child. Ridiculous. There is 1 shared washroom between a whole floor 6+ppl. We waited over an hour for the shower (maybe we were unlucky, who knows). Shower was cold at certain points even for a 5 min shower. Also, the washroom smelled like urine every morning and was a lot of dust that triggered my allergies. Onto the best part. As we were checking out, I slipped on the stairs while carrying my luggage to reception; one of the steps literally broke and shifted. The owner/manager gave me the stink eye and was checking on her step and rushing us out the building as though we purposely broke her stairs. She did not apologise or ask if we were ok. In summary, stay here only if you have no other options.

This is tidy, comfortable and in an easy to access location. A/c and wifi both work work. Bathroom shares with only one other room. Quite spacious for Japanese accommodation. Recommend
