Perfect”
Perfecte hotel om in te verblijven. Beide keren dat ik in Istanbul was, heb ik hier verbleven. Personeel is erg beleefd, behulpzaam en respectvol. Ligging is ideaal en in een veilige omgeving.
Amazing”
Everyone was sooo kind, helpful, polite, caring etc. It’s a very nice hotel to stay at when you’re in Istanbul. I would recommend it to everyone. It’s close to a lot of touristic places. When having breakfast/dinner at the ninth floor you will have an amazing view. Especially during sunrise. There’s nothing bad to say about this place.
Best View and Excellent Location”
We had the Corner Deluxe Seaview for 3 nights. It's very spacious and has the amazing view of the Blue Mosque and the Marmara Sea, especially at night when the mosque is lit. You can also see across the Bosphorus straight to the Asian side. The room has a mini-bar which is included in the price. No alcohol but there are plenty of bottled water, juice, iced tea and soft drink. You can also request more at the front desk. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is big and the shower has great water pressure. Breakfast is included and in on the top, 9th, floor. Up there, you can see both Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque, stunning. There is a bar at this level too where we enjoyed wine and beer on multiple evenings. Service is vey good. The only little surprise is the breakfast. There is no buffet. Instead, you order from a menu, which stays the same the entire time we were there. Mostly are continental breakfast stuff, with a few Turkish items. It's hard to tell what some of the items are since there are no pictures and you don't know the size either. A bit of adventure. I tried a few different items and liked the pastry with spinach, minced meat. The muffins are tiny, so are the cups for coffee and tea. I was hoping to taste traditional Turkish breakfast here but it's not available at the hotel. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the Sultanahmet square, where the main tourist attractions are: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace is maybe 15 mins walk away. We found a back way that goes through a bazaar which some nice shops and restaurants. We had the Turkish breakfast there, a huge plate with 14 smaller dishes, and traditional dinner items too. Prices are reasonable, for example, about $35 for two people including drinks. Highly recommend this hotel.
Very convenient location, clean rooms, very courteous staff and an excellent breakfast ”
Our stay in Arcadia Blue was very pleasant. The location is excellent as the major tourist attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazar etc., are within walkable distance from the hotel and we could come to the room whenever we feel tired. The room was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was free with our stay and it was excellent. Though it was a la carte from a set menu, the spread was nice. The restaurant staff was also extremely courteous. The icing in the cake was the excellent view from the roof top restaurant.
