Een oase van rust en luxe in Singapore”
Toch wel één van de beste hotels waar we ooit verbleven! Heel mooi gebouw, erg rustgevend en modern ingericht. Prachtige kamer met volledig domotica systeem via de flatscreen, prachtige badkamer. Nespresso machine op de kamer. De hele dag door is er nespresso, ijswater met komkommer, koekjes en sap beschikbaar in de heerlijk koele lounge. Vanaf 18u is er wijn en champagne met hapjes voorzien. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en origineel. Het hotel staat in het prachtige Fort Canning Park waardoor het erg rustig gelegen is maar op 3 minuten wandelafstand ben je aan de Quay waar je heerlijk kan eten en drinken. Het hotel is zeker niet goedkoop maar elke euro waard!

An Oasis in the Centre of Town”
Excellent getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Irony is that this place is smack in the centre of the city but oh my gosh what a lovely lush green getaway in a beautiful colonial building surrounded by history!! We took a king bed with a yard which was at the ground floor and twin bed setup on the 1st floor. The room with the king bed had a tub next to the bed. Expect the floor to get somewhat wet especially if you have a kid there too. But towels are easily available to soak up the water. What’s special about this room is the yard outside with a sun bed, chairs and table. Expect to be visited by cheeky squirrels grabbing palm fruits from the trees that line the yard, greenery, butterflies and the lovely sound of nature day and night. The twin bed room was larger than the king and has an open toilet like concept in a separate area. Lovely with natural light flooding in. Screens are available for those who prefer less natural light and more privacy. The room looked very spacious as a whole with natural sunlight and green trees visible as you enter the room. The rooms were comfortable, especially the bed and pillows were of great quality. We slept very well. TV channels weren’t that many, for kids there’s only Cartoon Network. But you could always use your own Netflix with the free Wifi here. It’s nice and quiet in the rooms. Traffic noise is audible from the yard but that is expected given it’s in the city. Two large pools and a kids pool was clean and particularly pretty as it’s surrounded by the lush greenery of Fort Canning Park. Service was generous and quick. Whatever time I called for assistance it was rendered immediately. Very pleased. It’s really peaceful here, and feels a little like time has stood still for a bit. The historical Fort Canning Park surrounding the hotel only adds so much character to this place and makes you feel one with nature. Perfectly close to history”
So I booked this hotel to be close enough to my favourite place, Fort Canning Park and all his deep history, to be close to the trees and also have access to any part of the city Hotel Fort Canning exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, peace, delicious food, beautifully laid out and equipped gym and friendly staff.... Not to mention the building itself being steeped in history of the country... The bath tub is huge and water pressure in both the shower and tub is good and strong... really luxuriant feel of dipping in the bath tub with a garden view... it's as if you were taken back into another time yet with all the modern comforts

The interior of the hotel itself is vintage and historic too. Love it! Staffs were helpful and friendly. Check in and check out was smooth 👍🏽 The room itself is also clean and tidy. Bathtub and bathroom is also clean and tidy. My boyfriend and I were so amazed with the automated blinders in the bathroom, love it! Called for the housekeeping/inhouse dining to asked for fork and spoon, and they are quite fast and efficient and came in less than 5 mins. My stay at Hotel Fort Canning is 10/10!

Lovely stay”
Booked this place despite the unpleasant reviews on Google. Was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and friendliness of the staffs. Check in was fast and smooth, room was really clean, everything was in order and complete. Room service was swift.(although they forgot my wine bucket but they got it to me in less than 5 minutes, which to me is no big deal). Buffet breakfast has a nice mix of western and Asian spread. Overall, it was really a pleasant stay. Didn't regret a single bit.

The perfect retreat”
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Fort Canning. Everything from the room with a gorgeous bathroom and a view of the park & the city to the cocktails served by the pool that we had mostly to ourselves on weekdays was a perfect match for the relaxing retreat we were looking for. River Valley and Orchard with all its dining options were within a few minutes walk, so we didn't have to limit ourselves to the hotel's offer. The staff was polite and accommodating. I only wish they offered some value packages for booking an extra night so that we could have stayed longer.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Julian Chong was superb with all the requests that we had, and he was attentive and very patient. The hotel though small, is cosy and the room is spacious. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Loved the toilet with the tall windows. Thanks for making the stay so wonderful!

The overall rating is a 5-star stay. We were worried if the hotel's accessibility would be difficulty considering the hotel was located on the hill of Fort Canning, but it was actually very easy to get to the nearest MRT station (Dhoby Ghaut station). The room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed using the bathtub in the bathroom and the rain shower (the bathroom is huge with high ceiling, which we liked). The hotel is so used to having guests order food delivery that they will have the drivers drop off the food at the lobby and a staff will call you to let you know the food has arrived, which I thought was an organized system rather having the drivers wait outside the hotel. If you like using the gym, you'll defo love it. The gym is HUGE with a lot of state-of-the-art machines and plenty of free weights and cardio machines. We haven't tried out the swimming pool though. Git your Fort on.

AMAZING STAY!”
Second time staying in HFC for my birthday & my experience only got better! Location is slightly inconvenient but worth it for the environment & ambience away from the city. We were early for check in but the process was swift & easy. Refreshments were provided in the lobby. Guest relations went the extra mile with a complimentary cake too! The garden room is situated on ground level and close to the lobby but the environment remained peaceful and serene. Room was clean & well-furnished. Tub was big & spotless. The patio does not offer much privacy from neighbouring rooms and passers by from the hotel walkway as it is only separated by potted bushes. Expected the air-conditioning to be affected as I had some guests over in the evening and left the patio doors open but coolness of the room remained unaffected. Housekeeping was quick & efficient. Also huge thanks to Ivena from front desk for providing sanitary products from her own stash. Very satisfied & will definitely come back again!

Fast and hassle free check-in process. Staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful too. Tiptop clean room with great bathroom that comes with big bathtub. Love the facilities. Love the pool! Kids friendly and we really enjoyed our stay there. Recommended!

Beside that it is not quite near to the mrt, everything was awesome. The staff brought us to the room, gave us a clear explanation. The service is definitely going the extra mile kind of service. The room is clean and quiet. It's really awesome. I will definitely come back again.

Amazing Stay”
Had a spooky experience .. my bf saw some “things” in the room that we stayed in, however, it didn’t affect our stay much. The room was amazing and the bathtub was very spacious! Love the comfy bed and excellent service as well! The hotel even prepared a slice of tiramisù cake for my boyfriend’s birthday as well! Thank you! Will consider to stay here again!

This hotel exceeds my expectation, especially after reading bad reviews online. We stayed there anyway because the place looks beautiful. Staying at Hotel Fort Canning definitely became the best part of our trip in Singapore. Thankfully, reviews helped us to plan ahead to avoid disappointment. For example, there are reviews saying customers were being ignored due to too many people, apparently the hotel is an ideal place for weddings. When we stayed there, HFC is holding 3 wedding events. Because of this, we made sure to get up early for breakfast. Breakfast starts at 7am, & we came in at 7:15am. We get to have freshly-served food, and we received their best service because we were the only ones there. Btw, I LOVE their breakfast, they have a good spread of good food. But I especially enjoy their Nasi Lemak. Afterward we had our morning walk around the park. When we came back, the restaurant is packed. The Battlebox museum is just next door & the hotel is a few walk away from the National Museum. We went to visit the national museum & Plaza Singapura after checking in, and was able to check out the Battlebox tour the next morning before spending the last hour relaxing in the hotel before checking out. Overall, we had a wonderful experience staying in Fort Canning.

Second time staying over at HFC and i still love everything about it. Room was very spacious and super clean. Comfortable beds. Peaceful environment, no sounds of traffic, just nature. Hotel staff was friendly and check in was very quick and smooth!

The hotel was absolutely stunning. My favorite part was the bathroom with the coffee-cup sink decor... sorry that's what I see. But the marble, the high ceilings, wow... I was tight for time so I could only spend one night... literally... 10pm to 630am so 8 hours there... but I'm definitely determined to go back. The service was also very professional. All in all, amazing hotel.

A Gem in the park”
Close to Dhobby Ghaut, City Hall and Clarke Quay. ALl within walking distance. The park is also beautiful and the hotel is awesome. A colonial building, well furbished with high ceiling. The room and bathroom is both spacious!

I celebrated my girlfriend's birthday at Hotel Fort Canning. The staff surprised us with a delicious chocolate cake and they also gave us a bigger room. The bathtub was also quite huge and we both enjoyed our stay here. Thanks to the staff at Fort Canning Hotel for making this staycation such a wonderful experience for us!

Was here for a staycation. Everything here was great! The hotel staff (did not get his name) was very friendly, accommodated to our needs very easily, had early check-in, late check-out. The room was very clean and spotless. Romantic open toilet concept. Location was so-so tho. Loved that its away from the hustle and bustle, but hey its fort canning. Be prepared to exercise up and downhill if you are not here on private transport. All the more reason to stay cooped up in the amazing room.

Spacious room, unique and relaxing ambience. Carpark sign can be more obvious as first time guest may go to the public carpark below the hotel and carry the luggage all the way up (which is us) then realise there is another carpark on top. But overall experience is still very good. Will come back again!
