- good location if taking JR (hotel is right outside the station) - convenience store just downstairs - Seiyu supermarket in the JR station complex - if taking airport limousine to and from the airport, better get on and off at the Goto-machi 五島町 stop to avoid the footbridge (and the stairs!!!) at Nagasaki Station stop - comfortable and spacious room

Stayed here for 2 nights on our brief visit to Nagasaki and we were very impressed with the warm hospitality from all the staff of this hotel. The hotel is next to the mall and the JR Nagasaki station as well. The breakfast was acceptable but the view was breath-taking every morning! Room was very spacious and the reception staff spoke good English as well!

Big ticks for this place - great size, location, just next to Nagasaki station and 200 metres ti the JR stations and the street car line which takes you to all the tourist spots. Great service at the desk too - you can plan your trips at the concierge. Highly recommend this place ✅😃👍🙏🏻

Good location with easy access to trams and right next to rail station”

Excellent location, right next to train station. Easy to access trams stations - to locations of interest and malls. Good size room with excellent sound proofing. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast spread and food quality is reasonable but not the best. Overall, a good hotel which I will recommend.

A bit dated”

Large room for japan. The hallways are dark with heavy wood paneling, and brown carpeting. Breakfast was not included in our package, and was expensive at Y2600. Great location, right next to the main train station. Convenient to trams that will take you to all the major attractions. Staff was lovely but limited English. No English language TV channels.

Next to the Train Station”

Maybe best location for travellers using the train. Its location is just next to the train station passing the shopping mall. Near to the station and malls make evrything convenient. Hamano-machi shopping street is about 15min walk away. The trams are also just steps from the hotel.

Key access to hotel very near to JR Nagasaki”

If location is your only concern then JR station is extremely near to the hotel. It’s odd that the hotel comes with card access as most of the hotels are accessible by card these days but otherwise than that, everything is as per usual. Quite a big hotel in external size and room size was big as well- bigger than usual. Comfortable for luggage and there are even arm chairs in the room. Not impressed by the staff, were asking the concierge for help to book the battleship Nagasaki trip - took almost an hour and ended with having to book on my own on the mobile even though she said need to book through non mobile internet website. Not impressed at all.

Excellent choice while in Nagasaki”

I stayed at Hotel New Nagasaki with my parents for three nights, and we had a wonderful stay. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and good at English. The location was very, very nice, right next to the Nagasaki JR station. Additionally, they had good restaurant recommendations. As soon as we arrived at this hotel, we had a great lunch course at a Japanese restaurant inside the hotel. And, every morning, we had breakfast with a beautiful view of Nagasaki on the 13th floor. Highly recommend this hotel!
