Fijn hotel, erg schoon en goed geprijsd. Het ontbijt is goed en ruim voldoende keuze. WiFi in de lobby snel, in de kamers ronduit traag, lui en boosmakend. Fijn personeel .
Was nice ”
The lady in the reception i believe she's from Morroco she's professional i don't remember her name, she offer me late checkout with luggages storage, the hotel totally clean , i am sure i will come back it's my second stay actually.
Poor staff and hospitality”
The only pros of staying in this hotel was the room in itself. There are quite a few cons to talk about. On booking before hand through this website, we had clearly mentioned that we'd like to check-in late and the price we had paid, included breakfast. Moreover, we also requested to check out late. Despite doing so, we were charged more than what was mentioned and they had argued and insisted that breakfast wasn't included in our deal. Moreover, I was extremely disappointed with the service and hospitality as we were treated poorly and staff there were disrespectful unsure of whether it was our race or nationality. I've been a frequent visitor to this hotel and liked my stay here before. However, this instance left a sour taste in my mouth and would never again recommend to stay here unless there is a change in managment.
Worst hotel ever”
Bad service AC off in all building facilities Drop of water from ceiling in bathroom Shower not working properly Rooms not well cleaned They do not put towels in bathroom unless you request Foam soap only and not good For breackfast ac was turned off and they claim not working under maintenance. Thats enought still too many to tell.
Toilet facilities negligence ”
Toiletries were not refill, been asked from 3pm for towel and soap, again called at 6pm. It was given around 8:30pm after we talk to on duty at the reception. Cofee cup is dirty with molds and just 1pc.
Fast Service with a smile”
Whenever I travel to Muscat, La Rosa is always my first choice. You'll get a single bed room for less than 20 OMR,the room is clean with ref, T.V. and a teapot minus toiletries which were not provided anymore for the past months. This hotel is best-situated....has a lot of restaurants and stores nearby and just about 3-minute drive to MGM and Oman Avenues Mall. The hotel has a swimming pool located on the basement and restaurant on the ground floor. I always got a fast check-in and out with the staff especially with Ms. Maisa. Over-all, this hotel is highly recommended for budget travelers.
Value for Money”
The hotel has the basic amenities such as a restaurant in the ground floor and a swimming pool in the basement; my room is bit worn-out yet clean and the T.V. has very limited channels. The big plus is that it's in great location, with nearby restaurants & fast foods, hypermarkets and only about 30-minute walk to Muscat Grand Mall and Oman Avenues Mall. Among the hotels in the Al Khuwair area , this is the most affordable.
A decent place to rest”
The entrance was a mess from a combination of construction and parking blocking access to the stairs and ramp. I found the water temperature in the shower to be barely lukewarm or cold. I was unable to find a plug for the tub to potentially take a bath. But with a lack of hot water, it remained an unused amenity. The option to splash in the pool was pleasant. I did not partake as I was tired from a recently completed sporting event. The area was convenient to the airport and Sultan Palace by taxi. There was a mosque at the end of the street. There were shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. I would return if I could bathe in warmer/hot water.
wifi is not good. pls improve.

Fairly good hotel - cheap for a quick stay after a late flight ”
Hotel was very easy to get to, and staff were excellent. Room was good size but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. Only one towel for two people... Seems to be a common problem in Oman. Breakfast was simple and easy. Is a good hote for one night after a late flight if you plan to leave muscat and explore the country!
Good value for money”
I had an overnight stay in Rotana with a friend. Initially, I booked a room for 2 people but I saw another friend and invited her to come over. The staff gladly offered to provide us with an extra mattress, pillow and sheets included, for free. Our room was big and clean; the sheets smelled nice; the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean too (with a big bath tub!) however I noticed some molds were on the bidet head. They could also provide complimentary water bottles like most 3-star hotels do. Their breakfast menu was okay, but they could improve on it, being that their guests are not all Arabs and Indians. Other 3-star hotels have a wider range of choice for their buffet breakfast menu. Otherwise, I had a nice stay in Rotana. I'd definitely come back and also recommend this place to other people.
I love the swimming pool i enjoyed me and my children we are so happy and happiness
Breakfast is very poor. Nothing to eat except water melon and bread. Also the bed is very old. Other things are good. Reception staff are very rude except Mr Ratan. He is the only one person very co operative with Guest. Only thing is location good to move around. Also the pool is very nice. Thomas
This hotel is good if you're staying just for a night or if you're going to roam around Muscat more than staying in your hotel room. The room is clean, bed and pillows are comfortable, shower has a hot water option and the hotel staff is friendly and approachable. The downsides are, there's just one towel per room, there's no toiletries available except for tissues, the bath tub drainage of the room we stayed in is not working properly so I just kept the faucet on during the entire time Im using the bath tub because it just keeps on draining the water even if I had close the drain off. We roamed around Muscat the entire day and just stayed in the hotel room at night so we had overlook upon these shortcomings. I just wished they will add a couple more towels for the guests to use with.
This hotel is located in convenient area. It has good access to a new shopping mall, Muscat Grand Shopping Mall, bus stop, restaurant, bakery and cafe. Sightseeeing area is a little far from this hotel. But, hotel staff are very helpful. They shared local information with me, confronted a bad taxi driver instead of me and always worried about me. I really appriciate. Oman has many beautifule place, but I will look back what you did for me when I remember this trip. My Oman trip was made by you. Thank you very much.
The hotel rooms are spacious, location is good however if You have a car, there is NO parking facility except the hotel may suggest you park on their pavement or around. Mattresses are old ans squeak with each turn or move you make..Rooms are well designed and maintained, Housekeeping staff provided ONE hand towel and One towel to wipe, though we were TWO....Repeated reminders were required to address the issue and also the towels initially were TATTERED....They DO NOT provide SHAMPOO or body lotions as per the hotel policy...Soap dispenser in the bathing area was EMPTY.....Swimming pool is located in basement and appeared to be CLOSED.
Value for Money”
Perfect sized room with luxurious interiors and all amenities. The price which we paid with breakfast was totally worth it. Breakfast is also regular but worth the money paid. Only the parking is a issue sometimes in the afternoon. Otherwise it’s perfect.
WiFi was not stable. Staff would say: We'll get back to you, but then forget about you. Room service are noisy even when you leave a door sign with "please don't disturb"
