Ruined our Honeymoon - Do not give them your business!”

We booked four nights at Le Surmer the first week of January 2018. We paid peak season rates as well due to being so close to the New Year holiday. I've read several reviews (some I had to translate) that pointed out that this property has issues with overselling or overbooking. We were informed that during our last night we would need to change chalets. This was due to them overbooking. They needed to move us to another chalet with two rooms in order to put in a new long term guest in our chalet. Imagine having to unpack for your stay only to repack and then unpack all your belongings a few days later... then the next day having to repack before leaving. To make a long story short they destroyed 1,500 euros of my property and in return offered us a free dinner and transportation as compensation. This place is such a headache. I would highly suggest avoiding as they put making money over caring for their guests.

The chalet was very clean and well kept in a great location. However, although it was advertised with having wifi this was an extra cost. Furthermore, wifi could only be used with a smartphone in the reception area and not in the chalet itself which was obviously a big problem. The instruction sheet in the chalet said that wifi could be accessed via a modem but there was none there. When I asked a member of staff for assistance, he was none the wiser and said we could only get wifi near the reception. We also paid for transport to the pier on our final day as we had to catch the only direct ferry to Mahe which left very early in the morning. Despite having paid, the buggy never arrived. We were lucky that a passing taxi picked us up as otherwise we would have missed our boat although we had to pay for the taxi obviously. Given the price we paid, this made our trip there a little less fantastic.

we've spent one week in Surmer chalets. Mayyur and his team helped us a lot to feel at ease. the chalets are ideally located, close to Anse Source d'Argent, not far from the Harbour, not far from Grand Anse. Very quiet place with private beach (possibility to snorkel just in front of chalet). many services offered (restaurant we hardly used, bike renting, Coco Island ...). Wonderful week in two words

Awesome ”

We have just returned from our holiday in the Seychelles. The 3 nights spent at Le Surmer were a highlite. Brigitte had placed us in the Veuve Chalet which has the best location, view of the beach. Brigitte and her team were so helpful when I needed to store some our goods between the days on different islands. we will definetly be back when next in le Digue

Schöne Bungalows zum Wohlfühlen”

Wir haben sechs Nächte im Le Surmer verbracht. Der Bungalow ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr geräumig und bietet alles, was man als Selbstversorger benötigt. Supermärkte sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die täglich neu gestalteten Handtuchskulpturen, geschmückt mit tropischen Blumen und Blättern, sind immer eine Überraschung. Die Anlage ist durch die Straße von der Anse Réunion getrennt. Diese ist aber weniger zum Baden und nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet. Jedoch ist die berühmte Anse Source d'Argent in ca. 15 - 20 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Natürlich geht dies auch mit dem Fahrrad, welches man sich aber besser bei einem Anbieter außerhalb mietet.

Posizione strategica per raggiungere le spiagge più belle di La Digue. Le camere sono enormi e confortevoli. La cucina è ben attrezzata. Il livello di pulizia è quasi maniacale, tanto che ogni giorno spostavano persino gli armadi per pulire. Del resto la pulizia è necessaria perché trattandosi di un resort immerso nella natura, qualche formichina c'è, e se non si pulisce arrivano a frotte!Non lasciate cibo in giro. la proprietaria è gentile e socievole, ed il personale è disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. Ci tornerei, considerato l'ottimo prezzo.
